I have been coming to the park for the last 25 years. In that time very few improvements have been made in the accommodation. In the current market one pays 1000 odd Rand a night for self catering accommodation in the Kruger per person. The accommodation is at best 2 star but we all accept it because it is Kruger. The reality is for a little extra you can stay in a private camp with 2 game drives a day and 3 meals a day included. Kruger really needs to address the accommodation I don't mind paying the fees but the accommodation needs to be improved

Words are lacking to express the beautiful connection with nature. It is the ideal place to combine adventure, fauna, exotic culture, good food and rest. Get to know South Africa, it is a beautiful country.

It's *the* game park to go to. Camping in each camo is a breeze, and all toilets are kept in you top shape which is pretty impressive considering how some of them are in the middle of nowhere.

Kruger Park is always enjoyable. Long delay at Phabeni gate this am. Only 1 staff member in the office processing visitors. Employees and service providers do not respect the speed limits. Otherwise an enjoyable day.

Saw so many animals and we were just here one day. Arrived early in the AM and spent 11 hours driving the park. Lots of picnic areas and lodges to eat at throughout the park. Full stores and places to get coffee ! We saw giraffes, elephants , baboons , vervet monkeys , impalas , kudus , tortoise , hippos, crocodiles , zebras and lots of birds ! Go to sunset dam for hippos and crocodiles !

Pretoruiskop surrounding was burnt. Upkeeping of campingsite is deteriorated. Best camping sites are given to touring agents. These people only stay one night at the camps and we as SA tourists must be always happy with the 2nd best. We also pay and does not get anything free in the Park.

Always a memorable place to visit. A day picnic at Afsaal turned into quite an experience with a Hyena visiting the venue and being less than 20m away as well as Warthogs and Vervet Monkeys cruising around whilst families enjoyed their lunches.

We had a fantastic time in Kruger. Selfdrive, walking trail and even mountainbiking are fantastic to do. All is very well organised. Most things can be booked via the official sanparks website.

xxx all pictures are from a wilderness traill xxx

I would really highlight the possibility to do a wilderness trail. It's 2 days, 3 nights in a remote part off the park, where you and max 7 others have the opportunity to experience the park and wildlife on foot. You sleep in pretty comfortable little huts. 2 experienced guides will do their best to provide you the experience of a lifetime. After all the walking (1 morning and 1 afternoon), a 3rd ranger cooks surpisingly (given the location) good food, that rivals any restaurant. The last night we even had a braai. Bring your own drinks (coke, beer, wine etc) and sufficient batteries, their is only gas powered fridge.

Nice park where you can drive through yourself. Very special to find the animals yourself. It is wise not to do this for the first time because then it is rather difficult to find game. We did it almost at the end of the vacation so we were reasonably trained

An amazing experience. If your are visiting the park on your own you need to spend a lot of time on looking for the animals. A private tour can give you the opportunity to see more of the animals but it is short and expensive. Anyway! It is worth it!

Just beautiful.

Just beautiful.
There are overnight camps throughout the park (barbecues can and must be done here). BIG 5

This is an accessible park for first-time safari enthusiasts, which will leave one with a changed soul. You will want to return for more, after the first visit. The park is well-maintained and new developments and attractions are in the future plans of the park.

There were springbok everywhere, and giraffes.
After a while, got bored of seeing them. And they were always in the road, so you had to stop and look at them and take pictures.

I just cannot get enough of the Kruger! Being out in the wild is the best refreshment anyone can ask for. Both day and overnight visits are a must. My favourite rest camp is Nhluhlu where you can get to hire a braai skottel and prepare your own meal. Should you rather visit a restaurant, Lower Sabie rest camp is your best option with the Mugg n Bean overlooking the river.

If u love wild life, a visit to Kruger Park is a must. U can loose yourself in the beauty of nature. Every corner u turn can be such a surprise. Everyday is different. Some days u have great sightings and others less. But it's not to become disillusioned, everyday is a new adventure there. If u fortunate to stay in the actual camps, u get an early start. or u can stay in surrounding lodges and drive to one of the gates. I love going to the park and we go every year.
