I have come here since I could remember maybe 3 years old and my mom would get open eclairs and custard ice... omg... I go there now close to 50 years... WOWWWWWW time flys.. but we still have them pastry shop has not left us...like college bakery and others... awesome pastries...Thanks

Love the pastries here. The cannoli I had was a very creamy, soft filling and tasted amazing. The cheesecake was soft, not overbearing, and made the perfect pair with our chicken dinner.

Very good Italian cookies and pastries, they have been a staple in the Cobble Hill community for decades. We stop in for treats to take back home with us everytime we are in Brooklyn.

I've had Cannoli at some amazing Italian Bakeries (Veniero's, Mike's Pastry in Boston, etc.) but these are by far the best ones I've ever had. The shell is really light and crispy, filling is nice and sweet, and the chocolate one has a really nice rich, non-artificial, chocolate flavor to it. I'm going to have to come back and try some other stuff.

Love their pastries. Would love to be their apprentice. Wish they would expand to Puerto Rico.

The "lobster tail" pastry is the most delicious dessert I've ever eaten. It's a flaky shell filled with frosting/whipped cream. HIGHLY recommend.

I always had the cookies growing up when my parents would visit Brooklyn and my mom being from there would always bring them back to Galveston TX . I just got married this past Saturday 9/9/17 and asked my mom to please have these for everyone at our wedding and of course it was a big hit!!! Thanks to our family from New York for bringing them to Galveston TX!!! If y'all ever decide to ship them out or do online ordering please let me know or open a bakery in Houston Tx!!!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I have tried many 7 layer cookies & nobody comes close. They make the best 7 layer cookies.

Best bakery I've been to thus far. The cannolis are outrageous and so is everything else. I come from NJ every year for the holidays cause nothing compared. It's just a small old school bakery no frills no bs just order and go.

Brought cannolis for my boss from the shop and he's italian, the whole office loved it!

No doubt their pastries and cookies are delicious. Unfortunately the staff looks and acts very unhappy which detracts from what should be a fun experience. A little smile goes a long way.

If you want a great Italian pastry then look no futher. This family owned bakery has been a staple in the Carroll Gardens community. They are known for there fresh pastries and great prices. A must try there rainbow cookies.

My girlfriend recently got me a bag of cookies and sweets. I'm enjoying them as I write this review and I have to say even after a day they still taste darn good. The almond cookies aren't too sweet or overpowering. I polished off the entire bag in 5 mins and I want more. I was a little let down to know they didn't have almond horns or perhaps they sold out. I'm not a big fan of eclairs and none will change my mind but!!! the filling was very fresh in this eclair. I need to come back and try the Italian ices and some fresh baked pies/cakes!

Hands down the best classic italian bakery in Brooklyn. I grew up in the neighborhood and this place hasn t changed one bit! Well, except now they accept Apple Pay :) Still, if you re looking for an old school Carroll Gardens Brooklyn experience and want delicious Italian cookies/pastries, this is your spot.

I waited in line for about 10 minutes and ordered 2 pounds of cookies. When I got home and opened the box I realized they gave me someone else s order. When I called to ask what they could do, because I paid for fancy cookies and the ones I were given were the regular variety I was told I d have to go back and they would only credit me for the weight of the regular cookies I brought back. Useless.

Amazing cookies. I come once a year for the cookies and a lobster tail. No lobster tails today and they only take cash which is really annoying these days.

A little rude but overall ok. Selection is left wanting. Pastries are great.

Genuine old recipes for Italian pastries, cookies, & biscuits. Plain, unadorned, & delicious, with minimal sugar. Some sugar-free items available. Holiday specialties available at various times of the year. Right now is biscotti San Martino. Halloween has Dead Mans Bones. Lent has Sfingi San Giuseppi, a canola cream treat. And struvelli are available at Christmas & Easter. Almond paste lambs are beautiful Easter treats.

Their sabaliardi are the largest I've seen, as are the anisette biscotti.

Cash only. Reasonable pricing.

This place is the bomb! I come all the way from Philadelphia. I used to live in Cobble Hill.

I just moved to cobble hill and let me tell you the pastries here or like a gift from God. I've tried so many of there pastries and nothing has ever disappointed. Also you can't beat the price! It is cash only tho.

One of the last of the orginal places left in carol gardens . I happen to believe the cheese cake here is like no other.
Light, fluffy and delicious. The pastry is simple but done just so right . Outstanding cannoli should be mentioned as well

My family has been getting pastries from here for years and I can't remember the last time I was here as an adult.

They now have a window for ices, but I walked right past and went into the store to experience the bakery up close and personal.

$6.50 cheesecakes (YES, SIX DOLLARS AND FIFTY CENTS), $2.50 HUGE lobster tails (pastry!) and cheap but delicious lemon cookies.

The service is spotty with the rotating door on younger high school girls, but everyone is friendly and helpful!

Where are the people and pastries pictures on the website??? All the smiling, happy welcoming faces??? I didn't find any. I just walked into three apathetic young women looking , bored and unwelcoming. It was as if it HURT to answer our questions. Also, the photos on the website are a TOTAL misrepresentation. I wish I could give this place a zero. A complete disappointment.

I grew up a few blocks from this place and it's still great. The chocolate drop cookies are a family tradition.

The rainbow cookies may be the best I ve ever had. The almond cookies are great. The lobster claws are delicious. The orange peel ricotta pie was amazing also.

I LOVE this pastry shop. My family has been coming here for years, from Bay Ridge just for the cannolis/eclairs/cookies and made to order cakes. I like to come here on weekend mornings to buy either a cannoli/or eclair for a breakfast treat. At $2.50 each, it's truly a steal. I look forward to family birthdays and holidays when we get a made to order,cannoli rum cake, which is amazing. They also have some of the best rainbow cookies and saviotto biscuits I have ever had.

Good service, not that pricey, and incredible, straightforward Italian pastries. I'm probably biased cause this was my neighborhood bakery growing up, but they still make the best eclairs, cannolis, and lobster tails in my mind.

Always happy to see that it's still there.

Order a birthday cake went to go pick up they had it in a box! they wasnt trying to show me it so I told to open the box and show me the cake! The writing on the was horrible! It was like 5 year old had done it! It had

Court pastry has gone to the yeppies. the pastry dont Taste the same ice even tastes horrible! I know times have chage but the Recipe should never change

One of the best lobster tails I ve had anywhere including Boston and DC. Thin, crispy crust with generous cream filling. And one of the least sugary lobster tails I ve tried too. The sfogliatelle was also very flavorful and not too hard or soft. Price was excellent too. Lobster tail was only $4. it s only available on the weekends but Is made throughout the day and doesn t sit in a fridge where it can get soggy.

A Carrol Gardens institution. I'm 62. It's been there longer than I've been alive. I grew up in Carroll Gardens. There Italian ice is homemade. The best! Everything they make is awesome.

Very upset with my first experience here. Young Spanish girl behind the counter was so rude. She gave me an attitude because I wanted more cookies and she already closed up the box. She also forgot my cannolis because all she wanted to do was go eat her lunch. I will not be returning to this bakery because of her.
