KRBC Review

I ordered the chili and my fries extra well done crispy so I could dip them in the chili. Well I got limp lame fries. Now I m waiting for my fries and I m gonna have to have my fries with cold chili. What a bunch of a on organized rookies. They re also out of a few of their beers. It s Friday for god sake s. What s the matter with these people?

Usually pretty good but not today. For the higher price they charge vs ratio of food it wasn't worth it. And it just wasn't that good. When the waiter came by and asked how all of our food was on my group, we all kind of looked at each other really quick and lied to him. Today it was a Piddly portion of dried up fish and chips for me and the house root beer tasted watered down like if they dropped one of those root beer flavored bottle cap candies in a cup of water. The group likes the beer. Said it was really good. And I do have to admit that the Southwest egg rolls are always on point although pricey as well for only three of them and being an appetizer. All that being said... I'll be back. Good customer service and it's a nice drive.

Food took forever and then it was even the wrong one. The right one arrived cold. Had them to redo it. And finally we also had items on the check we didn't even order.
They have great beer for a good price. But that doesn't make up for the service.

Great for a bite and refreshments. Locals were gathered for a football game. I had a flatbread but made a mistake and ordered what I thought was going to be cooked Salmon but turned out to be thin strips of cold smoked salmon. My mistake. They were amazing. I asked them to just peel off the salmon and put on chicken. They accommodated and did it with such kindness. It was delicious! I also had a side of squash! Wow!

Class IV stout! Tastes (almost) as good out of a plastic to-go cup in 2020 as it does in a pint glass any other year.

Tasty. Great stop after driving through the Sequioa National Forest.

For many years my husband and I have had the trip to Kern River Brewery on our to do list. Can't easily explain the delay, but it happened. Not disappointed with this first visit. Passed on the flagship brews, I've had plenty, and went straight to their River Buddy pale ale. Excellent choice for a light accompaniment to their street tacos. Also tried the Trustfall and the Brown Claw. Loved both! Worth the drive. Make a weekend of it.

Blue sky. Cold beer. Wife who can drink me under the table.

Great beer! Had a little issue with one server. The rest of the service was great.

Great looking call beer company. Authentic Sierra Nevada beer. Great spot to hang out with locals. Little bit pricey. You can bring your own jar will be less expensive. Close to Lake Isabella and Sequoya National park.

It wasn't too bad. Mostly burgers/ salads. Disappointed that they were out of 2 of their beers i wanted to try.

Great restaurant for yummy food, entertainment and good vibes. Burgers are good size portions and many different varieties to choose from. Known for its beer. Rootbeer float yummy here. Almost anything you choose it's delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant in Kernville.

The food, brew, and especially the owner/ brew meister..simply outstanding.. As my associate Hans Landa would say...Bravo!!

I have driven through Kernville many times and this time I finally decided to stop and have a meal even though I do not like sitting outside of a restaurant and eating. The weather was nice enough to sit down and eat this day and the food was great ! I was driving so I didn't get a chance to try the beer although the people that I was with said it was really good I just know the food was very good and I will be going there again.

A diamond in the rough! KRBC I'm Kernville, CA a MUST for beer enthusiast. Good beers and GREAT food, pulled pork tacos! Make this place a top choice of your destinations.

A great place to have a beer and some hearty food after a day in the mountains. Excellent selection of excellent beers. Some interesting items on the food menu. Generous portion sizes and good food quality. Service was friendly, attentive and quick.

Had an opportunity to come here today, ordered a burger, unfortunately my stomach decided to strike against food, so I had to put the beautiful thing into a to-go box and wait. And I tell you what, my burger was STILL excellent, all around! I cannot wait until I can go back and be able to eat it again fresh.

Don't miss KRBC! The food is amazing, the views are great, and the beer is delicious!



As for the beer, I enjoyed the seasonal more than the "flagship" brews, but everything was very nice. We will be back!!

I make an annual visit to KRBC to pick up a case(s) of the annual release of citra DIPA. It is always worth the trip and more. Food and drinks are excellent and beyond. Too bad it is more than an hour drive away. Otherwise i would come as often as I can.

Stopped in for lunch after a hike. Great experience! Beer was awesome, food was delicious, service was courteous! Definitely the place to be on a Monday!

I ate there about 3 years ago, man the burger and fries are outta this world...looking forward to trying em again!

It was the best burger on my trip to the US and the beers are on top. Mention also to super friendly staff!

I had a superb experience in this restaurant. We enjoyed the awesome vibes and the meals. The staff members were super amiable. I am content we finally managed to visit this place.

The food & beer were very good, the service took longer than expected.

Several of us rode the bikes up through Springville, past the Ponderosa Lodge and along the Kern River for a bit until we arrived in Kernville and Kern River Brewering Company. Great people, food, and of course, great beer!

I like the Buffalo Chicken sandwich with the waffle fries, it is amazing. Thanks to Sara for her great service!!

I would give this place 10 stars if I could! Best beer we have ever tasted was right here at Kern River Brewing Co. I loved their great selection of freshly brewed IPAs!! And they also had a delicious stout. This place was jam packed on a Saturday night and laughter and good times filled the air. We managed to get two stools at the bar and enjoyed our fresh cold beers immensely. Unfortunately we didn't eat anything here, but the menu and the food looked fantastic. We will definitely be coming back!!

I love this place. In my opinion the food in the brewery is better than the main restaurant. Although they have less options.

Nice staff provided the low carb meal I needed. Seating outside wasn't to bad. Nice place to eat and drink.

Clean and friendly. The best chicken wings in Kern County.

Beer was great. Food was ok. A server had to leave suddenly which made the staff discombobulated and slower but im not reducing rating for that. Stuff happens.

If I had only ordered beer, it would have been 5 stars, maybe 6.

Love the beer truly, an outstanding ipa. Was using it to quench my thirst on my hikes and was nice to stop @ the actual brewery for a full pore before the long trip home

"Wingsday" and gotta say the wings were spot on. Added some waffle fries and a Serra Red.

If you don't eat the Class V Slow Braised Shredded Beef, you're really missing something. I had the one with butternut squash and it was truly amazing.

Good views, nice staff, great beer and amazing food.

Very helpful staff. Great food. Personally I really like the burgers. Fries are seasoned well. The brew is solid. Down side is they only fill their own growlers. So that kick ass stainless steel one you got for camping is not gonna get filled. The Friday night love music is pretty chill.

We were staying at the rv site down the road and this place was a bit of a find. The beers were fabulous (try the 4 glass taster!), the food tasty and plentiful and the staff were a delight. So nice in fact that we had to buy t-shirt before we moved on. Thanks for 2 great evenings KRBC.

Alway's Good Food everytime we eat here. Plenty of different Micro Brews to choose from.

We come here every time we visit Kernville, even if we're just passing through. Love the cervesa, food, staff, & atmosphere. Even live music Friday Night! Awesome place!

This is such a fun place to drink tasty beer, eat food, and hang out with friends. The new-ish Backyard is only adding more room for excitement. I especially like River Buddy, Two Lane, Just Outstanding, of course, and the list goes on. There's a beautiful setting too!

I absolutely love their food...every time. Also, the KRB beers are awesome. I highly recommend the calamari appetizer and the fish and chips for an entree.

Horrible customer service. Some of the rudest staff I have ever met at a restaurant. The waitress actually walked away from us in anger as we were simply trying to ask if the bill could be split into separate bills. There were 10 of us. It's common sense we are not all going to pay on one check. She threw a tantrum, walked away and then avoided us for at least 20 minutes. I had to go to the bar and ask someone to go get her for us. I will never be going back here. True, food is good, but you can get good food other places where the staff treats you with respect.

So pleasantly surprised by this brewery. My boyfriend and I randomly decided to take a trip to Lake Isabella from Ridgecrest since we had never been there before. We found this brewery nearby and decided to give it a shot. It was perfect. The beer was great, food was delicious, service was good. We got to sit outside and enjoy the view. All around an A+ experience and we can t way to go back!

Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere and great view. When you need to get outta town, this is the place to go. The pricing is fair, the people are friendly and what a great time. Definitely worth the drive.

Food was fair, and beer was good.
The issue I had was when the waitress came to pick up the check, which was $29 and some change.
I was paying with a $50.00 bill and she asks if I need any change, she expects over a twenty dollar tip for mediocre service, WOW.....

The beer is excellent but I can't say the same for the food especially the fish and chips overcooked and like rubber. You're better off eating somewhere else and then coming there to have some beer.

Cozy pub with great terrace. Good draught beers and nothing to complain from food. Sports also shown from televisions if you're into that.
