Went here with my boyfriend and some friends over New Years. We ate here one night and then enjoyed the beer so much we kept coming back to refill growlers throughout our stay in Kern. My personal favourite was their IPA. The food was good too and the vibe was pretty chill. I'm surprised this place isn't more well known considering how good their beer is. I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm in Kern.

This is our favorite place in the area. They always have great food, beer, and atmosphere! Anything you order to eat is delicious. There's an outside eating area that is great in the summer. If you come through the area don't miss this place.

Beer is always excellent at KRBC, and the service is usually excellent also. But lately the food has not been that good. Mainly lettuce bones in the romaine lettuce in the chicken cesar salad and other salads. Some cold chicken wings last month with visitor's in town too. Come on KRBC ,make the food in the pub as good as the beer.

I love KRBC! Everything from the atmosphere to the food is awesome and the brews are some of my favorites around. I love their constant brewing innovation and Jacob has done wonders with the menu in the last several years.

The food is awesome but ordered appetizers that came after the meal wanted appetizers not dessert then when we said something to the waitress, Gabrielle, oh they didn't come out is what she said then walked over to computer and actually put in our order for them didn't appreciate being treated like idiots

Even though I'm local, I have been to a few brewery's around California and I still can't find a better beer choice. The local beers are always amazing and never disappointing. The food is great as well. If your a brewery hunter, this is one of the better finds and you must stop by.

After a day of relaxing on the Kern River, our group (11 of us) decided we should go to the Kern River Brewing Co. for a bite to eat and a good brew.
Upon arrival, we noticed that the place was pretty crowded and went inside to inquire about, whether or not, they could accommodate our group. They told us they could, but it would be a 15/20 minute wait, so we sat on the bench outside and patiently waited our turn. When we went back in to check on availability, we noticed that they were seating smaller groups ahead of us and now our wait time moved from 15/20 minutes to upwards of one hour.
I must say, it is not ok to treat your customers in such a disrespectful manner... your staff made us feel like we didn't matter.
We were there on the day you opened shop and we have been there many times since, but we don't plan on coming back after the way we were treated on Saturday July 13, 2019.

Great place to hang out and have a brew and food from their menu. I have been here a few times & I have always had great service as well as their food. You can hang around the bar area or have a quiet dinning outside on their patio. The place has a very rustic mountain feel to it inside & out.

Great

I was driving down the highway through Kernville, saw this brewery, and immediately did a U-turn to come try some of the beers, and I was not disappointed. This is a remarkable off-the-beaten-path brewery with that classic Sierra mountains feel. It definitely deserves a visit if you're a big craft beer fan - even if you can't stay and try some beers on tap, they have a great selection of cans and bottles. Keep in mind that they don't sell single cans, only 4-packs of tall cans and 6-packs of short cans.

Beer was great! food was not, I had the fish and chips, the fish was rubbery and tasteless the waffle fries were limp, they were stingy with the lemon slices, two tiny pieces about the size of a sugar cube. Might stop in sometime for a beer and then go elsewhere for a meal

Beer and food were awesome! Good selection of food (burgers, sandwiches, etc) and a variety of beer styles, both year-round and seasonal. We tried 5 different beers between us and enjoyed them all. Fast and friendly service. Seating is currently outside only due to COVID, but they had plenty of fans and sun shades to keep you comfortable. Highly recommend!

Kernville suddenly has some serious coolness factor added! The town was screaming for a place for the outdoor adventure minded person to drink, eat, and socialize after a serious day of fun. The brewery filled the void! Anyone who visits will be stoked! Just look at the names of the beers; "Class Five Stout", "Sequoia Red", "Isabella Blonde", and "Just Outstanding IPA". Great food too. The motif exhibits a perfect merging of the Old West with the new school mountain adventure town attitude. Great views from the deck.

Very good beer of our own production. On the cranes there are 4 permanent varieties (apa, ipa, stout, red amber ale) and several seasonal ones, including triple ipa. Prices are noticeably lower than on the coast. Cozy, typical for the American outback bar.

We are locals and come here often. Food is overpriced for you get but the beer is tasty. One of the managers is rude and arrogant and never has a smile on his face, unless talking to a girl. Don t know his name but he has a man bun and the most unfriendly person. They really need to replace him!

Fantastic place we stumbled upon driving to the red wood forest. Enjoyed a great Sunday lunch here. On walking through the door the staff were so friendly gave us menus and said choose your own table. Waitress was fast and friendly. Ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich which was delicious, chicken very juicy and sauce was great, love the waffle fries as the side. Also table orders pulled pork sandwich which was cooked well but needed a bit more sauce.

Holy crap, for the five days I was in town I must have eaten here ten times. Great beers. No, really, great beers. Good chili and wings. Try the tortilla burger. Also, get the brownie dessert.

Not impressed this time here. To say the least the server was great, staff good, food not so much been here multiple times. Its pretty badbwhen ur friend doesntdoeven wantwto eat what they bring out in front of you. Never had a problem except for tonight ordered the tortilla burger. Which ive gotten multiple times with a veggie Patty never once asked for my burger rare. Mind you it was to the point of it being so rare couldn't even take a bite. Asked for it to be cooked longer it still came out pink more than medium. Could i post pictures with this i would. First time ordering a burger from here never again with the cooks on monday night. Our total bill was about 70$. So recommend coming in on the weekend to get a good burger with a few beers.

Great brew pub with a good menu, and solid wait staff. They have two buildings, one on the highway which is the original with a traditional pub. The addition in the back has a different menu, be sure you look at both. The edition does not have burgers, so be prepared! They do have great outdoor benches on their elevated patio with a great view.

Service was good. But my food wasnt that good at all
..after spending $70 + on mine and my wife's dinner..neither one of us was happy.fries was soggy, artichoke dip was bland, wife's fish taco was tasteless. Don't think I'll bother going back.

Cool place, good beer selection (for some) Cool merchandise, small selection but good. You'll get trendy young folk here at times. I see they have an extra building out back but haven't been in there. Outside seating is nice if it isn't too cold/windy or hot.
Burgers are about $10 to $13 Fish n Chips is about $14 to $15 taste ok.. The fried pickles are alllright.. if you like pickles than they're for you. They go for $8.95 for a few pickle sticks.
