This board has reached a lot of conclusions with out appropriate research and sampling. They do studies with out control samples, dont factor in natural sources, or use appropriate collection periods. The APCD purposefully skews data to fit an agenda and is backed by local interest groups.

Do not trust this company, especially Mark Elliott, not only did he admit to trespassing past a fence onto our property, he also was parked hiding outside our house on the street and when he saw me leaving the house he tried to back up and hide behind a tree. So now not only am I suspicious of him that he could of stolen things from our property cause he trespassed but also that fact that he tried to hide. Really sketchy company and employees.

This board of "experts" is an absolute joke, and everyone will know the innacurate and dishonest practices employed at the SLO County APCD before long. It was already proven (in court) that these supposed air quality experts were unable to produce any accurate reports regarding air particulates, and ended up losing over $400k (when sued by the American taxpayer) for their attempts to dupe the public with false test results. This group uses the environment as an excuse to incroach on the rights of hard working Americans, and is currently being used (by local interest groups) to try and illegally close the Oceano Dunes SVRA. The longer the APCD participates in this farce, and the more the APCD continues trying to deceive the public, the more the APCD's name will be drug through the mud.

About San Luis Obispo County Air Pollution Control District

San Luis Obispo County Air Pollution Control District (SLO County APCD) is a government agency that is responsible for regulating and monitoring air pollution in San Luis Obispo County, California. The agency was established in 1971 to protect public health and the environment by enforcing state and federal air quality regulations.

The SLO County APCD has a mission to improve air quality in the county through community outreach, education, and regulatory programs. The agency works with businesses, residents, schools, and other organizations to reduce emissions from various sources such as transportation, agriculture, industry, and residential activities.

One of the primary functions of the SLO County APCD is to monitor air quality throughout the county. The agency operates several monitoring stations that measure levels of pollutants such as ozone, particulate matter (PM), carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur dioxide (SO2), and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The data collected from these stations is used to assess compliance with state and federal air quality standards.

In addition to monitoring air quality data, the SLO County APCD also provides information on how individuals can reduce their exposure to harmful pollutants. The agency offers educational resources for schools and community groups on topics such as asthma prevention, wood-burning alternatives for home heating during winter months when there are high levels of PM2.5 pollution due to wood smoke.

The SLO County APCD also provides assistance for businesses that need help complying with local or state regulations related to air pollution control. This includes providing technical support on best practices for reducing emissions from industrial processes or equipment upgrades that can help reduce emissions.

Another important aspect of the SLO County APCD's work is its grant program which provides funding opportunities for projects aimed at reducing emissions or improving overall air quality in San Luis Obispo county. These grants are available for both public agencies like school districts or private entities like small businesses who want help implementing clean energy solutions like solar panels or electric vehicles.
