A gem of a small arts museum. Loved their sculpture court. And the staff was lovely- I bought a small gift for my mom, forgot it, and the director ran out to the parking lot, found me getting into the car with the kids, and gave it to me. How kind!!
Interesting exhibits. Nice gift shop. Will only take you a few minutes to see everything.
I mean, I don't see how like wires and chains and random things all welded together are art but hey I guess thats why i am not an artist or a art review person !!! I mean hey whatever floats your boat!!!!!! If you like it then hey that is AWESOME!!!!! i guess I am more of a realistic art person like watercolors or still life or like Michaelangelo and idk i think glass blowing is real cool!!!! And pottery!!!! But idk just the weird sculptures are NOT the art for me! BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER AND THATS WHAT MAKES THIS LIFE AND WORLD A WONDERFUL THING!!!!!!!!!
Wonderful local nonprofit Art Center. The Krasl does so much for St Joseph, MI and all of Berrien County. In 2015 Cycle-Re-Cycle decorates bikes for a Krasl open house. Free Space BH concept and set up.
Lovly place. Very nice sculptures and staff is great cute gift shop. I bought a great art book.
It's a nice small place to go. We took the do-it-yourself sculpture walking tour and it was pretty cool.

The Krasl is a great place.Easy to park and walk in with free admission (although you could always make a donation.) It's cool and quiet with great art displays that change often. They have educational offerings for all ages and skill levels. The staff is brilliant and their events are awesome.
The Krasl Art Fair was amazing. The talent and creativity of the artists on display blew me away.

Krasl brings world class art to the area and the way they look at connecting with the community is great. Their new space outside featuring a tremendous work by Richard Hunt meant to welcome you to an outdoor space to experience art. They also have art classes to help expand the talents of those wanting to learn. Great place.

Amazing exhibition of local art but rather small. The outdoor area is very inviting and hip.
Went here today. Totally didn t get it?? Less than a handful of art pieces and a gift shop. Perhaps the classes are what sells this place? Idk. The bathroom was seriously the most interesting thing (cool divider and tile). Other than that this place is a BIG ZERO.
Krasl is a wonderful place to take your time and experience a "big city" exhibit in the main gallery and also finding many treasures from local artists, some of which are for sale. Currently, there is a very poignant exhibit, "Aftermath: War is only half the story" in the main gallery. Krasl also has a beautiful work by one of my favorite artists, Chihuly, at the entrance.
For the small town, this is a good center that brings art to the community. They have watercolor and ceramics amongst other classes
Small gallery, classrooms, jewelry and pottery studios for members, fun gift shop. Great place to take an art class, from jewelry-making or oil painting, digital photography or metal-working for jewelry, to clay and pottery wheel throwing. Lots of great teachers, fun staff and participants. A great way to meet people. Classes for all age groups!
They also host the Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff in Saint Joseph every summer. I'm looking forward to checking that out!

June 2019. Norwood Viviano's work a definite standout. Presidential photography of many well known images. And a small hands on Presidential desk. Quite fun. Krasl docents are knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
A place to feed the soul, marvel at creativity, originality, and relax the mind with the tranquility in the environment. There is always something to see there is always something that will surprise you.
I have attended and performed at various events at the Krasl. What a wonderful place. The newly remodeled courtyard makes the Krasl even more appealing. The staff and volunteers are very welcoming. The exhibits are amazing, and always thought provoking. There new exhibit "Resilience" is a must see! Even those who do not consider themselves to be art enthusiasts will enjoy a visit to the Krasl. #artforlife

Traveling exhibits of prints, photography, or painting. Nice gift shop. Lunch at the Bistro restaurant in Boulevard Hotel 2 blocks North. Major local cultural center.

This place is small but a jewel. From the glorious Chihuly chandelier in the entryway to the small galleries with interesting exhibitions and nicely curated gift shop, it's always part of the long weekends that we love to spend in St. Joe.
One of the finest organizations and facilities in the Midwest
I went in there this last weekend and it was honestly one of the worst experience of all time. The interpreters in the galleries all seemed like they didn't know what they were actually talking about. Not to mention that there were so many misspellings in their exhibits. It was like no one had any experience I was not happy. Its a smaller space which I am OK with but I was not alright with the lack luster experience. I will never come back if I'm being honest, unless they plan on retooling the staff.

There was a lot of construction going on while we were there, but the gallery was clean and well organized. The sculptures outside were the best.

Small little art gallery. Friendly staff and clean. Don't expect to spend too much time here, I was able to see most everything in less then an hour when I went.

While the gallery took less than 15 minutes to digest, it was good and free. I'm in the demographic that doesn't have the money to spend on art classes there but they do interest me.
Krasl Art Center is a great place to see rotating exhibits, shop local handmade goods from jewelry to dishes. Krasl Art Center also offers classes and free virtual programming.
Krasl also has a beautiful lawn featuring multiple sculptures. Krasl boosts 40 sculptures placed w/in a 3 mile radius of the art center.
The staff and volunteers are knowledgeable and very friendly.
Krasl Art Center is definitely worth a stop everytime you're in the area because there will always be something new to see.
