Great place for any kind of needs that your pet may have.Very convenient for whom lives near by,even waiting area for the pets ,comfortable,appropriate.
I found very clearly many items that we usually buy to spoil ours lovers pets.
All the appointments goes on time,what is good.
The people that work there is very nice staff.
Parking your car is easy and free tickets,but also good to walk for the ones that lives near by,
Not boring if you have to wait...atmosphere nice also warm considering the cold weather outside.
The veterinary doctors are competent!!All good!

I once brought an injured wild goose here just as they were closing and they still treated its injury and looked after it. The vet was completely unfased by it pooping in her pocket too.

The staff are always very pleasant as are the vet's I've never had any problems

My dogs love it here. It has been now for one of them to make there own way.

Really disappointed in the recent treatment of my guinea pig who has ongoing respiratory problems and previous dental issues. All the vets I saw were inexperienced with guinea pigs and apart from prescribing him antibiotics for weeks, they did not prescribe any other medication to help ease his symptoms and then referred me to an exotics in Bedford with an expensive referral consult fee when they could have suggested I book myself. None of them picked up on his heart murmur. I do not recommend anyone with small furries to take their pets here. They did not have the experience to deal with overgrown teeth while my guinea pig was conscious either so he had to be anaesthetised for them to be burred down which cost over 300 pounds in total when the Cat and Rabbit Care Clinic I took him to never have a problem with this and performing the procedure while the animal is conscious is a fraction of the price. They don't admit they don't have the experience until later on.

Wonderful staff from the receptionists to the nurses to the vets. They are calm and reassuring and go over and above to give you extra information. Just lovely human beings who clearly love animals.

Good and friendly service, although the cat wasn't so pleased.

Our cat got hit by a car and taken here. Sadly passed away but these guys were so nice about it and zero charge. My wife was very upset and they were very accommodating.

After having to use the emergency service after our weimaraner cut his throat we have been really impressed with the care and attention he received. Outstanding team of vetinary nurses keeping him calm so the vet could get some staples in avoiding anaesthesia and a huge bill. Reception team equally as caring and professional. Thank you

Seen very quickly and facilities clean and well maintained. A large selection of dog toys and segregation of dog/ cat waiting areas keeps the peace!

Awful vets absolute disgrace!
Unfortunately my 17 year old cat was very ill and had to be put to sleep. I phoned the vets to enquire how much it would cost to put him to sleep I was told about 60 to 70 pounds with the choice to take him home or have him cremated which sounded reasonable.
I booked him in for the next day and it was a very traumatic experience he put up a fight and had to be sedated and watching him die was terrible as he convulsed several times
Just before this I was asked to settle up which I did and was absolutely shocked to be told it was 235 pounds! We had chosen individual cremation and that cost 170 pounds on top of putting him to sleep. I was never informed it was this and I was never given the opportunity to change my mind.i just had to pay it.
Very deceitful and crafty of them to spring that on me and my family when we was all feeling terrible about letting a very much loved pet go.
Horrible vets if I have another pet will never be taking them to this vets.

After finding a lost rabbit and being recommended to take it to this vet by the rspca, I found the staff to be abrupt, rude and very unhelpful.

I have never seen the same vet twice and I have been taking my dogs up here for coming on 8 years. The last time we were there (end of last year) the vet we saw was fantastic, however I know we won't see him again.
Just don't feel appreciated and would prefer a vet that actually knew my pets however due to locality I have had to stay here

Refused to adhere to the veterinary code of practice, because I had no money they left my dog in unnecessary pain and suffering. They care not for the animals, but solely for money.

Our cat wasn't registered with them but he recently got hit by a car. We took him there as they were the nearest to us - honestly cannot thank them enough.
He had a severely broken jaw and the care and attention that they gave him was second to not be.
They literally took him in and immediately put us at ease with their professionalism. We and Milo are extremely grateful.

A very big thank you to Tracy on reception at the Great Ashby site. When I called yesterday no appointments were available until Sat. I called back as my dog was in pain and asked if I could at least get some pain medication for him. She spoke to vet and called me back to advised me on what to give and got me an appointment this morning.
After an admission for a procedure my dog is ready to bring home.
Many thanks to you all but especially Tracy who showed great empathy to my anxiety over my dogs condition
