Took us almost 2 years to bit the bullet and put the pool in. The team at KOHO pool made it an easy decision. Such a great group of young men. Showed up everyday in the sweltering heat and pouring rain. They were very respectful, knowledgeable, patient with all my question and always cleaned up after themselves daily. To this day, if I have a question, they are very quick to respond. Very happy with their service and quality of work! Thank you to Callum, Conner, Mac and the rest of the team that were here. Great group!

Possibly the worst customer service I have experienced in any industry. Staff sent had poor knowledge and execution.

A beautiful pool, on time and on budget. Couldn't be happier.

Unfortunately I have given this company way too much of my time and patience with both openings and closings and I'd give negative stars here if I could. They are nothing but rude and confrontational; lack any professionalism and cannot keep to commitments they make. Their customer service is brutal on all fronts. They lack acceptable service when opening pools as they're difficult in accommodating their customers, and the closings have lacked completeness too as I have had to finish things off myself (from covering the stairs and putting pipes back on that were unnecessarily screwed off and stripped!). When I brought this to the company's attention they said they'd look into it (which they didn't) and then blamed me (and yelled at me) for their incompetence. Furthermore they don't provide invoices for services even though you request them in order to pay, and then they yell at you for not paying . One of the women who answers the phone is one of the most rudest people I have ever had to deal with. She won't provide her name despite repeated requests, talks over you when you're trying to ask a question/answer her, refuses to reschedule appointments or even give the aforementioned invoice/even tell me the balance. This company, and how they treat their customers through any kind of service, doesn't deserve anyone's business. I'd advise anyone to stay clear of them to save your money, and your time and stress.

I have used Koho Pools professionally for 5 years. They are extremely knowledgeable and always resolve any issues I have ever had with my spa and pool in my high rise buildings here in Barrie. I highly recommend them and their suggestions are always very valuable and timely.

This company should go out of business. Their service is terrible . Leo , the owner is a joke . Once they get your down payment , good luck in dealing with them . Run from this company !!! If I could give negative stars I would .

My advice for anyone getting a pool ... dont be fooled by pictures in a flyer, unless you pay for the beautiful landscaping in the pictures dont expect anything but piles of dirt.
Our pool is beautiful but the destruction left behind is a nightmare.
Ask questions and get everything in writing. Leo is a smooth talker and you will receive a quote then a bill... make sure everything you talked about is on both.
Neighbors were kind enough to allow us access thru the joining fence ...Leo arrived the morning they started and rather then take care on taking down the fence he broke the fence posts right out of the ground.
Dont worry Leo said we will fix it....BS

The company Koho hired to dig the hole put a bin in our driveway for the dirt again no care was taken..no wood was put under the bin..sinking into our driveway in various spots and drag marks... again Leo was made aware he promised to correct this ...again never fixed.
If in negotiations they tell you they will put everything where it was they do not.
We negotiate a pool with specific depth we were expecting grandbabies so we wanted something for them to grow into....3.5ft in shallow.... 4.5ft in the deep... as they dug it was very apparent they had dug far beyond this.... i kept asking the guys ... they responded with its a sports pool... ignorning me ..i was texting Leo only to be ignored... once we signed the contract and he got the deposit... the only time he would contact me was for more money.
Sand was poured...cement .... and pool was was totalky not what i asked again i complained to the guys again i was told it was my eyes and it was a sports pool...
Leo had to come out to check on a city issue and i had a melt down yelling that this was not what we asked for and true enough he finally measured and it was 8 feet ... i was so upset i just wanted to sell the house and move ... something to bring us joy was causing us stress and anxiety.
They had to refill the pool and re cement finally getting it right.
The day arrived to put in the liner and the water.... because they were having a crisis at another job this process was rushed.... we used the city water and because the crew was in a rush to get to this other job they did not have the city clear the lines .. we got sludge black dirty water ...we pointed this out to the 2 guys left and they said it was the liner .... Again a call to Leo ignored ...the guys said it would clear in 24 hours
Well never cleared I called the city of Barrie and sent them pictures of the water they could not apologize more they told me to call Leo and tell him to drain the pool and they would refill it at no costs.
Leo refused he called the city and told them in time the chemicals would clear the water. Leo then called me and told me the same and that the only inconvenience would be to him because he would have to replace the filters and the chemicals used no mention of the hydro used by us by running the system non stop for days.
Finally a week later a clear pool .... filters were so disgusting we called to have them replaced ... no call back from Leo FILTERS NOT REPLACED AS PROMISED.
We found a tear in the liner near the stairs ... Leo again ignored the call ..
We had to call the electrician to train us on how to vacuum the pool and how to hook it up .. Leo just left us with a mess...
Then the wood flooring that we had outside our doors that Leo said would be put back down had literally been either destroyed or buried ... one guy said we will fix this up dont worry... but here we finally had a pool .... our property was destroyed around it ...the fence was destroyed... the guys at one point actually drove over the gate rather then move it ... our driveway was caved in....to get to pool we had to walk though mud and dirt.
Our dream was now a nightmare, we had to make a choice to be continued

8 years ago they installed my pool and I still can not find a nice word to say. Stay away from this company. All the bad reviews are similar to my experiences. Can not get any warranty work done . All the good reviews on here are most likely them or family

Leo and his crew put our pool in two years ago and did a fantastic job. This was the second pool we had installed by Koho. They lived up to everything they promised. They were great to work with and very accommodating. The final price was exactly as quoted. We would highly recommend Koho Pools to anyone considering putting in a pool.

With a Lockdown and the unknown looming we decided to pull the trigger on a pool to enjoy as a family. Leo originally won us over when he first came to our house and sat down to run numbers. The numbers and timelines were great and we made the deal. Construction started on time and everyone that was involved was a pleasure to deal with. Between Callum leading the charge in the build, Mac coming through with his final touches and Connors attention to detail with the liner and final instructions of the run through we were swimming in no time and most importantly on budget!!!
We opted for the KOHO s sub contractor to do all of our stone work and hard scape and they left us with a Beautiful finish exactly what we had discussed as well as a couple nice extra touches. Very Happy and looking to a full go this summer.

Has been a terrible experience with Koho. Not sure I should be posting this as my pool is still not completed since mid September. Tried to contact Leo this spring and he has still not replied, which is the norm for him. As I said pool was started on Sept 15th, no one showed up to work on it all of October. Luckily we had a late winter and they were able to get water in it by mid December, but no equipment hooked up. Please save yourself a headache and go somewhere else. And Leo if you read this could you come and finish my pool please.

I booked a pool with Leo and Koho pools. Lost my house to fire see picture below. Not sure if i will be living there again or not and they wont return my deposit. Ask yourself would you do business with someone like that?

Just had our pool done by Koho Pools and everything went perfect!!! Leo was amazing, from beginning to the end and was all about taking care of his clients and making our vision come to life!! Any question my wife had, he would drop by and answer them all!
His crew was onsite first thing in the morning and are a bunch of hard working guys that take pride in what they do!!
Anyone looking for a pool, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND using Leo and his team!!!

It sounds like Karen and I had the same experience... I could have wrote her review.. I may have been the other crisis. I should add .. the end result was fantastic... the installers were great as well... the stress leading up to the finish was high.

I had Leo and Koho pools put in pool for us last summer. I found Leo and the crew to be excelent to work with. Leo has a great personality that won us over. He was there to answer any questions and did what the plan had asked for. His crew were also a pleasure to work with. They worked hard every day in a professional manner and also answered any questions I had. I found the experience with Koho to be great and I would recommend them. The pool looks great and I can't wait to get back in it!

They did an excellent job of my pool, the young guys are very particular and thorough throughout the entire process. They recommended some great ideas for me, they have been building pools for many years and the experience shows in the job. If you want it done right do your self a favour and call Koho.

Leo and Koho pools have done a wonderful Job on our pool. From the planning last fall to the completion this week I have had a great experience. Leo has responded to my texts on a regular basis (especially when texting early in the morning). All the install crews were very professional and hard workers. Our driveway was swept and cleaned at the end of each day.
This was our first experience with this type of large job, for those in similar positions here s how it went. Pool hole measured out and dug in one day (they did an awesome job battling back our high water table). A few days later the crew was back to install metal frame and put the first stage of concrete base down. Then a few days later back for back filling the pool. We had a separate landscaping crew come in for stone work (a week of work there). Then Leo s crew came back in to prep and pour the smooth coat of concrete and in a couple of days our liner was in, pool was filled diving board installed. Equipment hooked up a couple of days later (on a Saturday mind you as understandably the koho team was busy, but none the less they came out to get our equipment set up Saturday morning). Monday morning finishing touches (solar blanket, board for diving board, salt cell). Then done.
We had Leo s recommend electrician, Heath, do the electric (awesome job there). And we are swimming just in time for the summer to begin.
Started the dig May 18 swimming in a completed and heated pool June 26.
