Have been with Kodiak for 8 years. Service has always been excellent!

We have been customers for several years now and the service gets better every year. The new email updates and synchronized service with city ploughs are fantastic and demonstrates the company s comittment to customer satisfaction and innovation. Bravo. Best money I spend every year.

yesterday in Kanata Area, it has almost 10 cm snow falling down. Got Kodiak email before midnight for dispatch schedule and then in the morning around 8 am , my drive way is the most clean one around our community which use capital service a lot. Even though its price is 50 bucks more than capital snow removal, but it is worth it.

I am really glad that we went with Kodiak this past winter. They came reliably to clear the laneway as well as the bump at the end after the snowplow passed. Unlike previous years with Capital, I didn't have to go out and shovel tracks when my husband was coming home because the driveway was done in a timely manner! Very pleased with their service.

I did not sign a contract because I sold my house and will be moving soon so I am an "on demand" customer. These guys are awesome! Such fast service and they do a great job!

We had the greatest snow removal service with their many wonderful email updates and their quality of service. We are just sorry they do not offer their services in Nepean. Very respectful and professional services.

We call Kodiak at least once a year for a one time snow removal. It is reasonably priced and they get here quickly.

Very responsive and helpful. Called to address the large pile of snow the City dropped at the end of our driveway. They had it removed within 30 minutes. Really excellent

I have been with your company for over 10 years. You always provide great services. Today, I got home at 6:30pm, I big pile of snow on my driveway, I could not get to my garage. I called, the lady on the phone was very rude and impatient. As a result, this will be the last year I use your service.

We have had this service for approximately 10 years and they have never let us down with their snow removal service. They are the best snow removal company in Stittsville and we can count on them always.

Excellent service!!!!! I have lived in Ottawa for several years now and have moved from snow removal company to snow removal company. Not any longer. These folks are well organized and FAST. Just yesterday the city drove by and dumped a 2-3' snow band in my driveway. As I was about to leave to run errands, I was telling my I needed shovel first but, before I could open the door, Kodiak arrived and cleared it. Well done!!!

I have been two years with Kodiak and year one was OK, but year two (2019-2020) not so much.

On several occasions last year Kodiak forgot to clean the end of my driveway but did everyone else on the street.
On another occasion when I arrived from work the entire driveway had not been cleaned (and we had no cars in driveway as we were both at work) they totally forgot to plow it;
When I phoned them , I did not receive any real apology just an excuse that it was a new guy doing our route and they finally arrived hours later when it was bedtime.

Service last year was unacceptable and we have moved onto to Adam Kittle Snow Removal

The driver on our street early this morning did not only our driveway, but helped with the street itself that had not been plowed by the city so people could get to work, Including those who arent clients. Needless to say i will be a customer for life!

We moved to Ottawa 2 years ago and were warned that it SNOWS in Ottawa. We decided to go with Kodiak as our in-laws had used them for several years with great service.

The first few snow falls my husband ecstatically said, "It's worth every penny!". Plows have always been timely, and efficient and have always quickly returned to clear the 'bump' left by city plows.

This past year we again experienced great service but this year we felt they went above and beyond.

After a particularly big dump, my husband's car got stuck on our street about 200 ft from our driveway. As 4 of us tried to free his car, the Kodiak plow, coming from the other direction, drove right up to the car and cleared the path to our house!!

Kodiak's contract typically runs to April 1st. This year we had late snow on April 6th. I was recovering from a back injury but was fully prepared to clear the driveway myself. I was pleasantly surprised and greatly relieved to see that Kodiak, out of the goodness of their hearts, had already done the work!

Kodiak is reliable, efficient and cares about their clients!

This will be my second year renewing with Kodiak. I have had service with a few other companies but Kodiak far exceeds them in their quality and professionalism.They are always responsive with any questions and communicate regularly throughout the season. I know I can rely on them for excellent service and would highly recommend to anyone.

We have used Kodiak snow removal for several years now and their service is outstanding.

I appreciate your messages about snow removal and it is nice to be kept up to date.I am impressed with the emails as they not only advise us when we can expect to have our driveways cleared but they clearly articulate the why/when it is going to take place.

I've been with Kodiac for a number of years and have had good service with no complaints but last year the service provided did not live up to its past. The first snow fall, I had to call to have Kodiak come back a remove the snow that was remaining in 1/2 of the driveway. The driver first time around started at the edge of the driveway by the house but went on an angle and by the time they reached the end of the driveway, there was roughly 5 feet of snow from the edge of the driveway to the middle remaining. We had to shovel at least 2 feet of heavy snow ourselves just so we were able to squeeze between our neighbours car and the snowbank to get into the driveway.
There were also at least 3 other occasions were we had to shovel ourselves out. Two of those times we gave up waiting since it was past 3:00 pm and we needed to get out. The 3rd occasion is where Kodiak had come by and then the plow came by just after we were heading out grocery shopping. Usually in the past when this happened, Kodiak would be following the plow route and have things cleaned up within 1/2 hour. This time around we stayed out and did some other shopping for a couple of hours to give Kodiak time to come by. When we came home after 2 hours later and saw the driveway still blocked, we called and were told Kodiak would be by within 1/2 hour. It was another 3 hours before they finally showed up. A total of 5 hours. We had to park our car 2 blocks away at the shopping plaza until they arrived as there was no room on the street.
Our neighbours had similar issues where they gave up and shoveled their own driveways. They were in more of an urgent position to get their driveway cleared than we were and needed up shoveling their own driveway at least 6 times. Service has declined dramatically.

Since writing this review, I was contacted within 15 minutes of posting this and 20 minutes of completing an online survey of Kodiak services. The guy was very apologetic and said he would make sure my service was back to where it should be. He said he would send me an email and give me his direct contact number should I need to have an issue in the future resolved. After him contacting me so fast and with the apology and guarantee of better service, I'm inclined to give them another chance. I'm very impressed that they would value their customers and rectify past issues. We'll see how well they stand by their word.

It's now Christmas day 2017 and we've now had a number of snowfalls and happy to report Kodiak has done the best job ever since using them for past 5 years.
