I've been with Kodiac for a number of years and have had good service with no complaints but last year the service provided did not live up to its past. The first snow fall, I had to call to have Kodiak come back a remove the snow that was remaining in 1/2 of the driveway. The driver first time around started at the edge of the driveway by the house but went on an angle and by the time they reached the end of the driveway, there was roughly 5 feet of snow from the edge of the driveway to the middle remaining. We had to shovel at least 2 feet of heavy snow ourselves just so we were able to squeeze between our neighbours car and the snowbank to get into the driveway.
There were also at least 3 other occasions were we had to shovel ourselves out. Two of those times we gave up waiting since it was past 3:00 pm and we needed to get out. The 3rd occasion is where Kodiak had come by and then the plow came by just after we were heading out grocery shopping. Usually in the past when this happened, Kodiak would be following the plow route and have things cleaned up within 1/2 hour. This time around we stayed out and did some other shopping for a couple of hours to give Kodiak time to come by. When we came home after 2 hours later and saw the driveway still blocked, we called and were told Kodiak would be by within 1/2 hour. It was another 3 hours before they finally showed up. A total of 5 hours. We had to park our car 2 blocks away at the shopping plaza until they arrived as there was no room on the street.
Our neighbours had similar issues where they gave up and shoveled their own driveways. They were in more of an urgent position to get their driveway cleared than we were and needed up shoveling their own driveway at least 6 times. Service has declined dramatically.
Since writing this review, I was contacted within 15 minutes of posting this and 20 minutes of completing an online survey of Kodiak services. The guy was very apologetic and said he would make sure my service was back to where it should be. He said he would send me an email and give me his direct contact number should I need to have an issue in the future resolved. After him contacting me so fast and with the apology and guarantee of better service, I'm inclined to give them another chance. I'm very impressed that they would value their customers and rectify past issues. We'll see how well they stand by their word.

It's now Christmas day 2017 and we've now had a number of snowfalls and happy to report Kodiak has done the best job ever since using them for past 5 years.
