I would give Kobo zero stars, but it doesn't allow! For the second time my kobo - different models - has randomly stopped working. For the second time Kobo is offering to send a replacement. My Kobo was sitting on my night stand, with a decent charge left and next thing it's stuck on Sleep mode and none of the trouble shooting will work!

I asked for my money back since they clearly have not worked out any of the basic bugs! Going from the first gen Kobo, Kobo Touch, to a Kobo Aura H2O that is significantly more expensive, one would expect far more! My first gen worked far better and only stopped working, because I put a lot of hours on it.

I am very disappointed with customer service. My kobo wouldnt update, so after 3 weeks they finally sent me instructions of what to do, and it still wont work. Now I have a factory reset kobo that I cant update. And, they offered me a warranty option of $20!! What is that, it's like a slap in the face. Ugh. I'm so disappointed. I love my kobo, but I dont know if I will buy one again after this horrible experience. I wish you could talk to a real person instead of this terrible chat option.

Horrible experience. Cancelled order, verified not once but twice it was cancelled and yet still sent out and billed. Then trying to get a shipping label sent or even get a pick up for return was more convos that i should NOT have had to do. Then tired of waiting for their level 2 to get back to me ( a week is more then long enough ) I had to drive to another city to return, what should never have been shipped. Lets see if refund comes.

Bought a ebook a few days ago. I was able to download it and open it only once. Now I can't open it on any device. I can't get to customer care, they don't take phone calls nor can I get anybody on line to assist or to refund me my $14.00. Very disappointed since I have been a longtime customer. I hope this post will prompt a response by the company.

Happy to report that 1 day after this review I got a very helpful email from Kobo advising that my book had been reinstalled and to login into my account if the problem persisted. The issue has been satisfactorily resolved. Many thanks.

I love being able to purchase eBooks but Kobo is making that difficult. I used to be able to pay using PayPal but now that option isn't available. Why not? I've had my credit card used illegally in the past so prefer not to provide it to vendors. Also, when I try to reach Customer Care, no one responds. What's up?
