Great for children and adult childs who love wooden coasters and the occasional civil war expertise that will educate children and adults with battles they haven't heard of since 7,8th grade.

Always a great time here! So much to do & see for all ages. And the best part? The tickets NEVER expire! I used tickets from about 10 years ago with zero issues. Actually, the new tickets and old ones look pretty much the exact same.

Love this park! Free parking. Free admission. Can bring your own food and drink or purchase theirs. Pay per ride or all day pass options. Lots of shade, seating and tables. I feel like this family friendly park is enjoyable for all ages. If you live within a couple hours of here and haven't been here you should check it out.

Absolutely love this place! First time visit and will be ruturning! Drove 6 hours to get there. They have everything for a wonderful, fun time. Nostalgic, yet current type of a place. Very unique, set in the beautiful mountain valley of mt. Carmel in PA. Wonderful place to bring family. Swimming, rides, free concerts daily, camping, beautiful scenery, gift shops, good food. Awesome nostalgic history with some rides restored like they once were in their time, fully functional! Extremely unique place to be! Wonderful, clean, affordable, friendly and warm. Love this place! Everything you want and more in family amusement!!

I didn't go here yet but I'm going on a field trip here and I'm sooooooo super excited! From what I here it's amazing and the food is great! Plus all the type of rides that's anyone can enjoy!

Of all the amusement parks I have been to, which have been a lot, Hands down Knoebles Grove is the best and my favorite amusement park to go to. My parents are older so they don't ride the rides, so they just walk around. None of the other amusement parks I have been to allow this. It's shaded and flat, so no walking up hills. You can use tickets or buy a wrist band, which is awesome and saves a lot of money.
If you have not been there, please put it on your bucket list!!! A must is riding the antique Carousel, where if your lucky you just might get the brass ring!

Wonderful family park, no entrance fee, great roller coasters, Log Flume, Sploosh, Haunted House, rides for all ages. Food highly rated. Smaller get together at pavillion, Knoebel's did that food, too. Beautiful carousel, Carousel Museum and Anthracite Museum...something for everyone!

Different park experience. Had a great time both time we visited. So nice to have the atmosphere as well as a lot of shady spots. Much less commerical feeling than anywhere we have been. I love the wooden coasters as well as the flying turns. This place got me to enjoy coasters after years of saying no.

Everyone was friendly but the Phoenix Burger was cold there were rushing to close even though there was an hour left of their shift. when pay 10 dollars to a burger it should be hot.ans people should be nice

This park is as much fun now as it was when I was a child. I have many fond memories of going with my parents to Knobels and even though I live in Oregon now, I've been able to bring my daughter twice.
The Phoenix is as fast as ever. The tailless rollercoaster is the only one of it's kind. The big blue coaster will absolutely give you the thrill you're looking for in a good coaster.
And the one that does the fast drop from high? WOW. Terrifyingly awesome.
This park has lots to offer for all ages and levels of thrill seeker from mild to wild.

Great fun until the end! The park doesn't close all at the same time and I got lost trying to find my way back to the entrance I came in at because they turned most of the park lights off on that side... it was on and operating on the side that I came from.

Excellent amusement park with rides for every member of the family. No admission price. Rude tickets very very reasonable. Great food and ice cream. Must visit if you're in the area.

It was so nice to enjoy a beautiful day and feel normal. Although masks were required, and some rides were closed, the park was extremely well managed and i felt it was very well maintained, clean, and safe. I give alot of credit to those in charge. I could tell they really care at Knoebels about everyone's safety while not compromising fun. And ot was a blast. You should go!

Went opening weekend 2019 and they closed way early for the weather despite it no longer raining.
I pre-bought an all day pass and I couldn't get a refund because I was there for 2 hours. I went on one ride because my group decided to sit down and eat thinking we had enough time to do all the rides we wanted.
Customer service was rude and unaccommodating as well.
Parking and admission is free which is nice but the fact that they don't care about people feeling like they were robbed is annoying.

Just came from knoebels, will always love that place, but with Corona virus they should really leave people alone who are sitting on benches with their families to be without their masks on. Those that are eating are the only ones that can sit in one place without their mask but if your sitting in the shade taking a rest from being in the sun, park staff should leave you alone until they see you walking around among the crowds, then they could tell you to put your mask on. Not a great experience today

We come every year sense 1997 and we stay one week, we love it. We never thought that it would be so fun. We feel like every time we are there we are in paradise. It is the most fun place on earth. WE HAVE NEVER BEEN ANYWHERE BETTER.

Our entire family had been camping here since my grandparents got married! Great family park, free admission, great food. Something for the entire family. Rides, shows, restaurants and fast service foods as well, arcades, pool with slides, picnic areas if want to take own food, and camping!

We love spending time at knoebels, we go multiple times a year for the last 30 years. It's very family friendly and has a little nostalgic feel to it. The best part is the admission is free and you can also camp there. Never had a bad experience and the food is definitely a plus.

My most favorite amusement park on the planet. It's not because it has all the best rides, its because it's one of the last home town All- American theme parks. Our family has been going here for the past 15years every year. Some of the best memories we have together is at Knoebels.

The Phoenix wooden roller coaster is by far one of the best coasters on earth. It's not that big, doesn't make loops, but the small lap bar that barely holds you in and the feeling like you will be thrown out at anytime makes this worth the $3. Still can't believe its legal.

Smoking is as issue here. They need to do a better job enforcing the designated smoking areas

We went to knoebels the 24th my hubbys Pepsi work picnic had a good time with the grandkids love this little family park only problem I had was had to pay to get in pool but I had no plans of getting in pool I think they should give a band for people who don t plan on swimming the 2 kids swam but I and pap didn t cost us $ 20 plus dollars don t agree with that

This family oriented amusement park is a huge sweet spot in my childhood! My parents always took us to Knoebels every summer, and with free parking & free admission, you can have an amazing time & make awesome memories for very little cash! The park has its own waterpark to it [slides kiddie pool & pool], and is truly a hidden gem of a place! If you find yourself in Pa it is 100% worth it to spend a day or weekend [theres camping & cabins & hotels/inns] @ this awesome amusement park!

This park was interesting, i came here for the first time this past summer and it had a few decent rides but i loved the history behind the park. I would recommend visiting at least once.

Awesome. A lot of activities. The experience begins at the parking lot which is free with shuttle(trams) to the main entrance. Also you get to bring or rather roll in your cooler with your water and snacks. The grills at the pavilions are a great necessity too. I mean my group didn't even go on all the rides we were done and in a good way a lot of stuff to cover.

Very fun way to have ,well, fun! I came here about 2 or 3 times and I continue to have all the thrilling, heart-bounding memories still flowing through my mind like the roller coaster speeding along the tracks. P.S. I've never gone on a roller coaster at knoebels. And next time I'm bringing one of my friends along for the adventure too!

Knoebel's gets my vote as the single greatest family amusement park in the country. There, I said it, and I'm not engaging in hyperbole here. It is not the biggest park, it doesn't have the newest and most thrilling rides, but what it does do is focus on providing a great time for family members of all ages, and respects its customer base by not gouging them at every opportunity they get (Six Flags, Disney, Universal, I'm looking at you...).
There's not too much to say that other reviewers haven't already covered. Free parking. Free admission. Affordable and DELICIOUS food. Pay per ride or by ride all day hand stamps (weekdays only). Go after 6 on Bargain nights, and ride as much as you want for $10 for adults of $7.50 for kids (roller coasters & Haunted House excluded).
I've been going to Knoebel's for over 35 years now. I drive 3 to 4 hours per direction for the privilege. I live 15 minutes from Great Adventure. Haven't been back in years. Just came back from spending two days at the park with my wife and 2 1/2 year old. Even with hotel and gas, it was still a good deal cheaper than one day at Six Flags.
If I had to summarize Knoebel's, I call it a safer, cleaner State Fair on steroids, without "Carnys" running the rides and games. If you're an ultimate adrenaline junkie, this isn't really the park for you (even though their two wooden coasters routinely end up on the ACE top-10 list), but if you want to have a great time and wonderful memories with your whole family, try it once and I think you'll be hooked.

One of my favorite places to go with friends and family. Usually try to get up there about 3 times a year. Great country atmosphere and plenty of free parking. Good food, plenty of rides and you can bring your pet. So much to do and they have a large outdoor pool. It's worth visiting and you will have a great time.

Drive the 2 hrs to Elysburg from Delaware to meet up with my mom sister and cousins, with my husband and our kids...and awesome day they spent together after being apart over 6 months...it was so hot and there were 11k ppl at the park that a.m.by 10am, but it didn't affect our day, it was great! Just as fun as I remember as a child growing up in NE PA WE LOVE KNOEBELS! IT WAS WORTH THE 4HR ROUND TRIP DRIVE!

We love taking our family here! There is a great selection of rides for kids and adults. Since you only have to pay for what rides you want to ride, it's much more economical than going to a park that requires you to pay for admission. It also makes it better for people that don't ride.

Knoebels is home to one of my favorite wooden roller coasters, "The Phoenix"! We were able to ride the coaster twice with only a few minutes wait each time.

The park is clean, and the staff is friendly.

The at the lemonade stand was very disrespectful ..some of the ride operators very nasty .we ask if we could wait for the front of the lined they said know but when there friends ask they lets them . i was so disappointed in this park .they really need to learn manners.

It's cheap for large families. Parking is free. The day we went it was buy one get one for the all day pass. The only ride that was extra was the haunted house. So for 6 of us it was less than $40. Also we brought our own food & drinks. Best part is you can bring a portable grill, rent a grill, or rent a table. They have a camp suit that you can tent, camper, or rent a cabin (not to sure what type of structure might just be a single or double wide trailer). Food isn't that expensive. And lastly a pool with slides, diving boards, and kiddie play area.

Knoebels is a local gem. Free parking. Free entertainment. Great food. They have a nice selection of rides. A budget friendly park. I highly recommend the waffle ice cream sandwiches and the tiger tails! 30 years of going to Knoebels and many more to come!

My family waited on the line for the tilt-a-whirl for 10 or 15 minutes before a worker came along and announced that it was not safe and he was closing it down! We did not get our money's worth out of the wrist band we bought my daughter because we just couldn't go on enough rides. Some of the rides we used to enjoy are now closed. Several had long lines. This place seems to be going downhill.

I am 71 years old and when I was a child, my parents and I would go to the park many times thru the Summer from Muncy, Pa. Four years ago I was able to return to the park and the ride thru haunted house is still the same...Never changed and still makes me scream.. We are planning on a return trip this summer and I can't wait... I love everything about the park.

We love this park! I love that I can bring my baby in her stroller and not have to pay an entire day pass for her. In reality, we're only going to get on a couple of rides and just want to spend the day with the family so it's nice you can pay for what you want. You can also bring what you want into the park. Very laid back.

This is a great park for anyone. The rides are great, the food is great, also they have a great fudge and candy shop. There is something for everyone here. The best part is it's free to park and get in.
