Awesome amusement park back in the Pennsylvania hi...

Awesome amusement park back in the Pennsylvania hinterlands. I've been coming here since I was a very little kid, and for good reason. Great rides, superb food, and above all, incredible value. Whereas most parks in the United States try to squeeze you dry for every miserable penny, Knoebels actually seems to prefer the reverse approach. By providing great entertainment for comparatively almost no expense, Knoebels has cemented its position as one of the best parks in the country. Parking and admission are both completely FREE, unheard of at most locations. You pay for your rides as you go, and nothing costs more than about 4 bucks per ride, and that's at the most expensive. Most rides you can do for about a buck and some change. Food prices are very low for an amusement park as well. The prices compare well with food in any small Pennsylvania town. Because of its insane value, Knoebels always draws a huge crowd, so it's usually pretty packed, but such is life. Most things worth visiting tend to be crowded, as people take notice of them. Long live Knoebels!

An absolute fantastic time. The rides are great, the pool is great, and it's the best amusement park for families. It's really convenient to bring the whole family even if some people can't ride rides. There's plenty of shade and activities to do outside of the rides. Plus the Phoenix is one of the best wooden coasters I have ever been on. An amazing time for sure.

This place feels like it shouldn't exist anymore. I didn't know places like this were still around. Absolutely amazing! One day here and it turn my husband and I into little children. We had so much fun riding all the rides, eating amazing food, and playing all sorts of games. A great place to bring out your inner child!

Been taking my family here for 6+ years. The prices are more than reasonable. Love camping; especially with full privies, laundry & electricity. G-rated family setting at the amusement park. The amusement park is fun - wooden roller coasters are top notch for a local family owned business. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. The food is better than carnival food. There is the Old Mill - best sundae shop!

Best amusement park for all ages in PA. Free admission is a huge bonus, the pool and water slides are clean and well maintained. A variety of rides, food, games and shops to explore. A great summer day trip, or for longer stays, they also have camping and cabins. With beautiful surrounding mountain scenery to boot. Love this place!

We went last Saturday. We celebrated my daughters bday. It s a 2 hour drive we got there 12:10 right after they opened. The parking lot was filled already!! It was a hot, beautiful day but it was packed! They did enforce masks way more than social distancing but we knew to keep our distance. We waited half the day in long lines! Over 20-25 min waits. (35min wait for Phoenix) needless to say we love this place and will come again but probably on a weekday lol It got less crowded the later we were there.

Loved it!!!! The Park is immaculate, plenty of things to enjoy for all ages, 5 adult roller coasters have their own twists and turns. And at 45mph Phoenix and 51mph Twister, a joy for those who love speed, like me. Flying Turns has no track and was a fast cool toboggan ride. With entertainment, many massive pavilions, massive swimming pool, rides, food, coasters, free parking and admission, there is no better place!!

We visit Knoebels at least once a year. I love that I can buy the kids bands for all you can ride for one price, while using tickets for myself and other adults in my party that don't ride many rides. The fact that we can bring in drinks (food) into the park is really nice, too. We usually but it good there, but take extra water to keep hydrated. There are pavilions and grills available outside the ride area for guests usage.

Fantastic Time. We stayed in a cottage right next to the park. Great time. Only pay for admission if you ride a ride. Made our kids grandparents and uncles and aunts happy to join us.

My job had there annual thing there for the employees.....worst day to go because it rained the whole time. My nephew's and nieces was only able to get on 2 rides and played 1 game before we left because of the weather. What a waste, but I did bring them back a couple of weeks later and they had such a great time.

A little pricey, and they never seem to have their reservation system under control, but it's always a good time at Knoebels Amusement Resort.

Tip: Put your name in and then go somewhere else while you wait.

FREE ADMISSION for anyone not wanting to ride roller coasters! Great for families with children and elderly members who want a nice, shaded place to walk around.

Great pavilion areas for rent throughout the season, friendly employees and endless re-entry.

To add a treat to the sweet deal: Knoebel's offers many unique, handmade food items and all meals are affordable (a family of four can generally eat for under $30, but this may vary), and there is FREE ice water everywhere, per request.

For the coaster enthusiasts: The Phoenix is an awesome classic wooden coaster, and The Twister is a much more extreme, fast-paced wooden coaster. Alongside these classics, there is a nice selection of other rides including a bobsled-style free-ride coaster, a new steel coaster and plenty of children's rides and coasters to match.

If you're a camping enthusiast or from out-of-state but want to try the amusements and (Food Network award-winning) food: Knoebel's has tent camping, camper lots and cabins for rent. Come enjoy the beautiful woods of central PA!

Handicapped children not welcome! We bought a ride all day wrist band for my 9y/o who is handicapped. She can't sit up or hold on by herself so we send her 12y/o brother with her to assist on the kiddie rides. We were told that he can't because he is to tall for the ride and since she can't hold on she can't ride either. We asked if they had ANY rides for handicapped children... nope. Instead of returning or money they offered to exchange the band for tickets of the same value and told I'd that she would have to use them for the rides that we can go on. Long story short the ferris wheel and merry go round. The other kids had fun.

Great for the whole family! I especially love going here because there is no entry fee, as i cannot ride any rides because of my back issues, it is such a waste for us to go anywhere else because the other parks wont let me in without paying just to walk around holding everyones gear as they ride the rides! We love knoebels!

Can't say enough about this place it's amazing. The staff are all polite kind and well-informed. The attractions are a lot of fun with minimal wait times and it is the best amusement park I have ever been to. Lots of food as well if says some souvenir shops. You can also bring your dog as well.

Hands down the BEST amusement park in central Pennsylvania!! Our daughter was injured on the bumper cars (at no fault of the park)...but the gentleman at the Soda Shack across from the Ferris wheel and the female manager there..were on it!! They got the med staff over to us and drove us to first aid. The staff in first aid--are top notch...amazing, kind, professional!!! Rest assured you will be treated with kindness. Thank you all so much

Awesome place to take the kids for the day. We spent half what we spent at Sesame Place and had 10x the fun. Lots of shade and pay as you go rides. Skee ball bingo is the bomb! Perhaps the best thing is to take the train ride (train by the front of the park) at night. The lights from the train dancing on the tree limbs as it goes through the forest is magical. The carousel horse museum is informative and worth taking a look at. Log flume ride, two thumbs up (and you hardly get wet). This place is in the middle of nowhere but well worth the drive.

This place is fantastic. No admission fee. No parking fee. The rides are great. Comfortable atmosphere. The food is really reasonably priced. $5 for a cheesesteak, $2 for 3 pierogies, $5 giant turkey legs etc. You can also bring in your own cooler if you don't want to buy food or you want healthy eating. There's a campground on the grounds, golf course, cottages, and motels. It's like a little diamond in the mountains of PA. I almost wanted to leave a bad review so people would stay away. Great place for families.
