Close to home. Pay as you ride and no entrance fee.
I don't like that dogs are allowed and in the parking lot it's hard to get in and out of your spot, rows are too close together and people are parking right next to the paved roads that makes it hard to turn into the aisle. But otherwise we love the park, grew up going to it. Good variety of food .
Bathrooms need modernized.

Huge fan of this park!!! Absolutely charming and gorgeous, with a river running through it. Perfect for families and you don't have to stand in long lines for the rides. The roller coasters are unique and the kiddie rides are very cute. The staff is happy to help you. It's tucked away in the forest, which makes the views amazing! It even has a campground and a few cabins. It definitely has a lot to offer

This is one of the most beautifully kept, flower blooming parks for young and old. There is a lot of charm and yet a lot of new rides for the kids. As well as the adults. Food is made while you wait, even the sundaes

I grew up just 20 minutes from this park and now that I have 3 kids of my own, I try to come back every few years. It never disappoints. It's truly a hidden gem and I love the old fashion feel. It's the only park I know of that doesn't charge you to park or an admittance fee. They still allow you to purchase tickets for single rides. I love it.

Great park. We had a great time with our family and friends. My husband told me he had a fantastic time. Even thou he is semi disabled. He got on a couple of rides. Totally a great day for him

Love the old fashion and family environment. Feels like I go back in time. I love I don't pay for parking and get a free ride to the park!in addition love that I don't have to pay entrace. Is affordable.

While they don't charge an "admission" fee I think this place is pretty expensive. It is a nice family amusement park. We had planned on swimming after doing rides in the morning only to find it very overcrowded. The gift shop we went in was also very expensive which was disappointing. They get you in with their free admission advertising but you pay way more in tickets, food, drinks, and souvenirs than you would paying an admission fee at another amusement park in my opinion. Park was clean including the restrooms. And our daughter had fun which is what ultimately matters.

My family started taking me here when I was 2 years old and we've gone back every year since. There is nothing bad I can say about this park. They have a wide variety of delicious food all around the park. Free admission for the people who just want to come and hang out and watch their friends and family go on rides. Fun for any age. They have free live shows and you can pay per ride or get a wristband for an all day ride pass.

Best family amusement park in the state, one of the best in the country! Free parking and free admittance... how can you go wrong? Reasonably priced food and concessions or pack your own.

We have always loved Knoebels Amusement Park. I have been going there since i was a child and introduced to my children.... Now my baby is a teenager (and we brought her boyfriend with) and still a great place to go and spend the day. Never too old to go to Knoebels.

Today was great day to be out in beautiful weather. We even enjoyed playing miniature golf together.

So clean...bathrooms were spotless....food was excellent and affordable....everything so well kept
The water on the log flume looked like swimming pool water (unlike rides at New Dirty shore)
I actually felt safe on the rides

Always love Knoebel's! Best amusement park, with free parking and admission, great food, and never trashy despite local flooding; the staff really amazes me with how quickly they clean up after disastrous flooding. After their flooding a couple of weeks ago (which you can see in photos and videos on Facebook), I think it was like two days or something crazy like that before they were back up and running like nothing had happened; truly commendable! And so many good memories over the years from here!!

This is a great place - and we visit every time we get out-east. Nowhere else can you have full access to an amusement park without having to pay a cent.

Last time we were there, I lost my van key and filed a report with lost-and-found. They had it turned-in the next day and were happy to mail it to me without question. Thank you.

We had a blast....only thing was some of the younger staff...especially at the tubes and the slides...they weren't friendly and acted like it was a bother for them to be there...no smiles at all....and as we were leaving the desk staff were rude...we thanked them but they didn't say a word basically ignored us......but other than that...WE ENJOYED OUR DAY AND HAD A BLAST!!

WE LOVE IT HERE! It's a small amusement park that offers free admission. You can buy a roll of tickets at certain kiosks and you use them for the rides you want to. The best part is the tickets don't expire

Knoebels is one of the best kept secrets in central Pennsylvania. Parking is free and there is no gate admission. You can choose to pay as you go or opt for an all- day ride pass. It is a very family friendly place with something for everyone. There is a beautiful pool within the park, with a separate admission. The food options are endless and very budget friendly. They also have a campground and cabins that can be rented. We go there as often as we can. A great day away.

This place is an AMAZING amusement park. The fact that you do not have to pay a fee to enter to the park is awesome. You only have to pay for the rides themselves. This allows parents or friends to come to the park without paying an exorbitant amount of money.

The food choices are incredibly diverse. The prices are amazing. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The entire park is handicap accessible and visibly very sensitive and accommodating to individuals with special needs.

Much of the park is shaded and woodsy. There are ample places to sit an relax. The *only* problem I can really call out is that a great deal of Knoebels' restroom infrastructure feels very cramped and outdated. Other than this I can fault this park for nothing.

The best around! Everybody loves Knoebels! Great rides for all age levels, and the pricing is reasonable. I can remember spending the day there during the week as a teenager and just walking into rides over and over all day. We definitely got our money's worth!

Now that I have my own children, we enjoy the shade of kiddie land and the variety of fun attractions for young children.

I've also enjoyed the birthday parties here. The staff does a great job of entertaining the kids and making the guest of honor feel special.

A great family friendly park where parking and park entry are free, great selection of rides, very good food, and fantastic atmosphere. I've been going there since I was 5 (37 now), now I bring my 6 and 2 year old kids.

Knoebels is a hidden gem that still remains in our modern world - a place where friendly service still matters, where you don't have to pay to enter the park (or even pay to park your car!), where you can enjoy thrill rides that rival big name parks yet also experience the nostalgia of old-time carnival/fair rides that you can't find in most modern day parks. I remember coming here as a kid 40+ years ago and it was great to visit again as an adult with my kids. We all had a blast.

Can't say enough about how helpful and friendly the staff is - you just don't find that kind of service at other parks nowadays. And the fact that you don't have to pay an admission fee per person is incredible. Love the ride tickets or wrist band options.

Daughter and I snuck off for a day away. Always love Knoebels! Very family friendly. Affordable fun and easy to move around. Shade is a big plus! Clean and good food. Entertainment and places to sit and get cool.

Knoebels offers a variety of rides, games, entertainment, and events for families. It is an appropriate place for young children and older people. It is wonderful in this day in age that the park is free to enter. Of course, if you ride rides you pay for those tickets. But, no admission is needed. And that is good especially for the very young and very old who may not ride many rides.

This Park offers an abundance of snacks and good, tasty food. It is nice that they allow pets, mostly dogs, to be brought to the park. You can even go camping there too.

If you have never been to Knoebels before, you should visit! Take a ride on the train, get on the Carousel, Ride the ski lift, go for a swim and a slide. There is so much to do there. It is one of the oldest independently owned parks in the nation. Go to Knoebels and experience it for yourself. This park can still capture that Nostalgia that we sometimes need in our lives.

Thank you to the Knoebels family for your dedication in lifting the spirits of hundreds of thousands of people through the years.

I travel to more than a dozen amusement parks across North America & the world every year. Knoebels is one of the very best, family-owned, traditional amusement parks in the world. I live in Texas, but I travel to Pennsylvania to visit this park at least once a year... usually 2 or 3 times a year.

Mask Nazis in 90 degrees but the pool was shoulder to shoulder!!!! What a joke. Your staff is very disrespectful. Started coming here 30 years ago! Employees standing around not sanitizing anything!! But yelling! Yelling at your customers about your nose not being covered! Horrible experience!!! Great job Knoebels

I attended my father's work function here. The park seems completely run down and despite being on the verge of overcrowdedness it still feels somehow abandoned. The rides are sketcy at best. The children's rides are fine though. I would not reccommend this to anyone unless you just want a very inexpensive thing to do outside on a long car ride. The nice thing is that you pay per ride instead of an entrance fee, so if you don't ride anything it is free.

I absolutely love this place! My family and I must go 3-5 times a year, we love the old look, the rides are so much fun and the price isn't bad, especially if you are a member of the military, they give you $40 in free tickets

There is something for everyone at Knoebels.

There is something for everyone at Knoebels.

Not only can you bring your own food, there is an awesome selection of food around the park. My favorite? Kettle Korn. Which is well worth the wait.

The classic coasters and rides are great, but so are the new, like Impulse, a vertical coaster, and a trackless, smooth bob sled ride.

A++++++

I had gone to Knoebels for the first time this past weekend. I had enjoyed the atmosphere of the family friendly and the old theme park feel. I was disappointment when it seemed that every ride I had tried to get on was shut down but wasn't informed about how long the delay was. I did have to get my tickets back from the ride when the delay was too long. But overall I enjoyed my time at Knoebels.

Was at Knoebel's park today for P&G family day. We have been going to this park for 30+ years. It is one of the nicest parks in Northeast PA. Family friendly, kind workers beautiful environment. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is...we went to Caesar's pizzeria today and we were so very highly disappointed because they no longer have the hoagie pizza. Please bring it back...it is what we always looked forward to when going to the park.
