Fabulous hotel food to die for rooms superb all round service brilliant will be back
Disappointing no red wine glasses available, service was poor in restaurant. Food was nice. The Spa treatments were the best of the whole experience.
Beautiful room, great food, took a while to receive my luggage
Gorgeous hotel! Comfortable rooms and very helpful and pleasant staff! Can not wait to go back!
Stayed one night. Price of 165 way too expensive for a country hotel. Room was OK, standard. Had dinner at a big function. Food was good considering the service was to 140 people approx.. The very big disappointment was breakfast. That was bit included in the price of the room. Paid an extra 25 for two. The breakfast was the worst I have ever experienced. The staff struggled to cope with the numbers and because it cost extra, payment was taken at the door. This slowed things down. The food was deplorable. It was all fried food that had been left lying. No eggs nor rashers/bacon left when I got to the top of the queue. The tea tasted very bad. When I pointed this out, I was told that it was the water! The scrambled egg was a solid mass. Even the serving utensils were well worn and failed to operate properly. Ok to stay but don't have breakfast. Very disappointing.
Wonderful place to stay. Great food. Great poll/spa.
Stayed in the 3 bedroom townhouse which offered a lot of space for my family.
This is our favourite hotel, the food is delicious and all the staff are so delightful, pleasant and helpful
Beautiful hotel, amazing staff and in a great location. Spent a 2-night escape in Knightsbrook recently and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The Spa and the food are the highlights for us. Will be returning soon!
Great accommodations, loved the restaurant downstairs.
Very friendly staff!
Would not recommend renting a house. Check out time is too early
Had afternoon tea and it was faboulas. The staff were lovely. Will definitely be back
a beautiful hotel very big and lit's going on yet very quiet
Great experience in the spa girls lovely treatments were fantastic check in at hotel took half an hour even though there was no queue cards wouldn't work so we couldn't use the lift tv broke and reception wouldn't answer our calls room was very small and basic bathroom was beautiful
Great food, nice hotel, unfortunately the entrance to the property is through a housing estate.
Delicious food and friendly staff. Only criticism is that the pillows weren't comfortable.
Food was great and reasonably priced nice relaxed atmosphere
This hotel is beautiful the food was nice but a bit pricey
beautiful hotel, friendly helpful staff on reception as we arrived. the bar staff were also lovely. our lunch was lovely too. my daughter loved the pool which is great. The breakfast in the morning is quite expensive at 12.50 per person as i dont eat much. but overall we loved being here and will be back.
Everything about this hotel is fabulous. Can't wait to go again.
It was super I can not wait till I go back. Thank you for having me
I had the best massage ever and relaxing time ever will be back asap
Yesterday, one of my friends brought me and my other friends to have a breakfast in this 4 starts Hotel. We were 5. She was excited to bring us to this nice and fancy place. But the experience was like in a horror movie. We waited for more than 45 minutes for 3 avo on toast with poached egg breakfast, a salmon and scrambled eggs crepe and a scone. Then they came and said there wasn't avocado so we had to order something else. We were so hungry so we just wanted to eat something, even tough after waiting 45 minutes we should have left that place. But we change opinion and decided to get only the toast with eggs with green mixed leaves and seeds. How long can it take, really? Well, they took other 20 minutes to bring that simple breakfast. It was literally a peace of tiny bread with 2 eggs on top, nothing else, I could have done it much better at my place. The friend that ordered the salmon and scrambled eggs and crepe got the dish without the crepe and when we complaint the brought wraps xD. A joke, really. After we complaint to the manager, they didn't make us pay, of course but guys, I promess the service was terrible and the food presentation worse than the bar of a fuel station. I have no idea about a night stay, dinner or lunch. But after having that breakfast I'll never try anything else. Very very poor service
A beautiful hotel. When we mentioned that we extended our trip to spend our anniversary in Ireland this was presented with desert.
Great food and staff are extremely friendly and helpful..
An absolutely fabulous golf course and the hotel isn't to shabby either.
Sunday night, very dull, signs up in reception for a band on, not happening, atmosphere is just not there, ( thank god for the jungle startin), staff really nice, menu ok, a little bit over-rated
Very disappointed being their before love it my kids brought me back for my 50 birthday staff behind bar rude would even look at you even do we only want coffee food was not nice at dinner
Beautiful hotel staff very friendly, had a wonderful spa experience ,dinner amazing had crab pot 'delicious' and salmon to die for. Will pay another visit to this hotel .
Service a bit slow.. but food was very good in the terrace
Attended a wedding here and it was fantastic. Staff made it an amazing day. The self catering houses are very roomy and comfortable. My only quibble is that food and drink are a little on the dear side. All in all well recommended.
Visited knightsbrook on sunday for lunch.Foyr of my family had the best lunch i have ever had,and ive bee n around!!!! The choice of starters mains as nd desserts wer ex just fab.will be back very soon.
Nice room and a super pool /sauna / steam / jacuzzi area
Luxury abounds. Helpful staff, super rooms, enormous breakfast- if you want it- and a superb golf course on your doorstep. Love it.
Brillant place to stay loved it .I would like to thank lorna at front desk in particular she is lovely and so so nice ive atayed here twice and lorna always looks out for my son jordan who has special needs so thank you so much lorna and knightsbrook.
This place lives up to its 5 stars, such a gorgeous place. Would highly recommend it to others without a shadow of a doubt!!
Lovely hotel really really nice food and amazing spa and massages very friendly staff Lovely views definitely will be returning
Food was delicious, staff very professional and friendly. Lovely warm friendly hotel.
We stopped in for lunch and it was appalling- 45 minute wait for a wrap and a club sandwhich, which was so dry and tasteless. 0/10 eat elsewhere
Hotel was recommended by a friend - phoned to ask if availability for Friday night as I wanted to purchase a pigsback voucher and was told there was availability. Bought voucher and phoned next day to book only to be told by the manager that it could not be used on Fridays. I explained that myself and my husband had taken holidays to stay on Friday but this did not seem to matter to them. Reluctantly I decided to give in on the issue and tried to book Thursday night but was advised they were booked out. I asked if I phoned on Friday morning and they had a room available (and the likely hood of the room being booked was slim) would they be prepared to let me use the vouhcer - since I would be spending more money anyway on spa treatments, drinks etc. and they only reply I kept getting was that the voucher had to be used Monday to Thursday. I was left with no option but to have a refund on my voucher and booked a really great hotel in Kilkenny. With the climate we are currently in words fail me why a hotel manager would be refusing business. I hope they continue to have enough business coming their way that they can afford to turn down a customer who goes away at least 5 times a year on spa week-ends- their loss:(
Spa day was fantastic. Staff were lovely and so attentive we were looked after very well. Would definitely go back again we also had afternoon tea it was well worth the money food was very good.
Fabulous hotel, reception very welcoming and helpful, breakfast gorgeous and rooms nice! Also set in a lovely wee town
Lovely place to visit and meet friends, friendly staff,
Super hotel lovely room and in great location, very friendly staff.
I expected alot more from this hotel. Pictures are a little misleading. Nice hotel with a grand lobby. The bar food was ok again not what i expected. Alot more attention to detail is needed as the hotel itself has serious potential. The staff were very nice and helpfull but on an overall scale I would not come back unless there was a overall facelift done. Golf course looks fantastic. The swimming pool is quite small also.
The Spa at Knightsbrook is one of my favorites, I've been a few times now and I would certainly recommend it to anyone, so relaxing and the Thermal suite is great to use before a treatment!
On arrival staff were very nice. They are mindfull hlof social distancing .
We paid top rates for a lovely room but was very disappointed we did not get a balcony as this is why we paid the extra money. I asked reception if we could be moved. I must ask the lady at front desk was very helpful and really tried her best but we did not get the balcony in the end.
The only thing I have bad to say is we filled out our b/fast form hung on the door before 1:30am for b/fast at 8:30 by 10 it had not arrived. Reception had not answer any of my 6 phone calls. I had to go down as bfast was about to finish In my pj' s very embarrassed to sort it. We finally got it and half the order was missing. On our second morning b/fast was on time but stone cold.
I understand we are going through Covid and it is hard on hotels. But if we are still expected to pay at top rates then I expect good warm food to start my day.
Excellent hotel great spa pool and threrapy rooms excellent food and staff
A group of 5 of us stayed on 04.01.2020 in The Knightsbrook Hotel. We arrived early afternoon, decided to have small bit of lunch in the hotel before heading to do some shopping. Ordered soup and pot of tea, after 45 minutes had to ask staff again 'where was our order', it eventually came. Had our evening meal there also, menu was a little restricted, main course came ok, ( food just warm, nothing hot like your dinner should be)finished quite a while but thought staff were never coming back to us to lift plates and ask if we wanted dessert menu, one of us had to go and ask member of staff for menu and lift plates. Ordered desserts, 3 being xmas pudding and custard (asked waitress if she could make sure custard was warm) desserts came and guess what (custard was cold) the whole Egg Cup full of it, so we again asked to heat it up. Food portions very small. We were finished our meal quite a while and nobody came with a bill or even to ask if everything was ok. We proceeded to desk to pay bill. Beautiful hotel and our rooms were lovely but so disappointed with food/portions and service. Management really needs to review.
Would not be rushing to recommend this place to anyone and definitely will not be back to stay in it.

Lovely Sunday dinner. Bit pricey but worth it when you consider the atmosphere, the decor and all you can eat. Plenty of parking . Roast beef melts in mouth.
Great weekend spent here
Staff are lovely spa is fantastic the only thing that let them down was the restaurant service was very slow took too long to serve and take away plates
But other than that great hotel
The staff couldnt be nicer in the hotel. It was unfortunate that we went just after lockdown and we weren't able to just go to the bar for a drink without ordering food. This wasnt a fault of the hotel, they were just following government guidelines. It just didnt have the same vibe of a staycation as from before the lockdown.
We had a truely enjoyable experience hotel facilities amazing .The rooms could do with a little modern features like flat screen t.v's but the bath jacuzi was fab. really helped me unwind il be back .food wonderful and good value for money, Staff very helpful and friendly great trip over all. Thank you
Avoid at all costs. Understaffed, dirty, food is bad quality. Also not cooked properly.... well I suppose if you count heating scoops of mash in a microwave proper. Long wait times on everything from checking in to concierge. Only plus side was the room was comfortable enough. I would not recommend to anyone. 1/10 lowest score possible. Worst ever stay anywhere. That was written before breakfast. Well where do I start......let's just say got a fresh breakfast cooked after a lot of fuss for my wife and the egg was riddled with hair. Failte Ireland need to review this hotels ratings............ Manager was just onto me...... no apology and all he had to say was the staff felt intimidated by me. Are these the same staff who told us the chefs were a joke or Most of the staff had left the hotel because of working conditions or even the ones who congratulated me for speaking up or maybe it was the ones that told me they were massivly understaffed. Avoid at all costs.
Went to a wedding recently, had a fabulous time! Nice staff and I had a great meal wish I stayed the night!
Myself and my partner stayed for a night over the August bank holiday weekend. We both really enjoyed our stay at the knightsbrook and we are recommending it to our family & friends to book for a lovely hotel staycation.
Everything was faultless during our stay in the hotel but two things I would like to give a special mention about which most pleased myself and my parter.
1) We arrived at the hotel at 1:45pm and check in was not until 4pm but we were given our keys to our room at 1:45pm! We expected to have to wait until 4pm so this was a lovely start to our stay.
2) Customer service was exceptional!! I mean everyone we dealt with did their job superbly! Very friendly and helpful staff. Probably the best customer service we have ever received in a hotel. I would like to give a shout out to the waitress Migla who served us our Afternoon tea. She was extremely polite, professional and easy to chat with that made our afternoon tea experience a memorable one. I hope management will give her recognition for her service and give her our compliments
Thanks to all at the Knightsbrook hotel, we will surely be back in the future
From guests Mark & Anna
Stayed on the 1st of August 2020
Nice hotel; good rooms and late bar.
Some of the rooms in this hotel have jacuzzi baths - not sure how many.
Clean and tidy rooms if a little dated relaxed atmosphere breakfast ok not a great variety on restaurant menu golf course amazing good test for any level of golfer
Great hotel with pool and spa.. Very reasonably priced
Out of Dublin, a really chic hotel to enjoy ur time with ur partner
A bit pricey but you get what you pay for.. Really nice place
Told us breakfast was Included when checking in and then made us pay extra for it in the end. Didn't mind paying for it but would have like to have been told in advance.
A great standard as always. Hoping to make the Japanese themed lunch at the end of May.
Went to celebrate a friends Birthday so afternoon tea was booked
Very disappointed with the tea
No China cups!! Really wanted a lovely China cup makes it more special somehow!!
I pot of tea not a China pot !! Tea far too strong had to requests pot of hot water
I feel it could have been so much nicer if a little thought went into it after all the hotel is faboulous amazing decor !!
You just need to get some fine China & make it special for a special occasion
