The Benz guys that orchestrated my new car purchase at Knauz Continental Auto, Steve Chase and Daniel Forrest made it feel like I was talking to family. The complete purchase process was pleasant, informative, and I never felt rushed or pressured to "add on" more options/warranties/services to the final transaction/price of the vehicle. I highly recommend Knauz Mercedes to anyone wishing to purchase a new or used Mercedes.

Our sales person, Neil, was not only professional, but found lenders that fit our budget. Call for an appointment, if you're looking for a new or used car. Loved the comfortable setting.

"BEST CUSTOMER CARE WHILE BUYING A CAR"

We first went to check out the certified pre-owned LR4s' they had in stock. This was the most pleasant way to shop for a car I have ever had. At no point did my wife and I feel like we were being attacked by the typical car salesman. They simply asked us which vehicles we were interested in and then sent us on a test drive with on the car tech specialist (once was with Romy and once with Salvo) . This are younger guys who pretty much know all about the details and gadgets of the vehicles. It was great to go on a test drive without the sales personnel, because I felt like I could be more honest with the representative and with my wife. Once we decided on the vehicle we sat with Chad Holland, who is the manager of the dealership. "Chad was the best", with no exaggeration. He helped us get to where we felt comfortable with terms and was not pushy at all. I want to note that we were there about a week before and when we left that first day, Chad simply said think about it and let us know... there was no trying to change our minds about leaving and there was no chasing us out of the store trying to get us to talk to another manager, like how it is at a lot of the other dealerships.

Now is when the real action comes into play. We were buying the vehicle on the last day of the year and we were the last customer out of the facility. We hopped on the highway and "BOOM" the car feels a little funny and the dash starts signaling warnings and is telling us not to exceed 30 miles an hour and that there is a suspension fault. On top of it all it was pouring rain all day and freezing out. This was a buyers nightmare. I pulled over to the side of the road (on the shoulder) got out and saw that one of the tire went flat and that the truck had lowered it's air suspension down. I didn't know what to do .... I called Chad and there was no answer (remember we were the last customers out). I left a message and proceeded to contemplate trying to change a tire on our new car or calling a tow truck??? And then less than five minutes later Chad called me back and was as surprised as me to what was going on. Chad asked where I was and said he would bring me a loaner and then wait / go with the tow truck to bring the vehicle back to the dealership to be corrected after the holiday (IT WAS NEW YEARS EVE). The next week Chad had the vehicle gone through by the service dept. and replaced the faulty tire and opposing tire as well, so they wear correctly. Once the vehicle was inspected and Chad felt comfortable he had the truck delivered to our house.

Chad Holland, I am so thankful that you called me back and came out to the rescue. It was such a pleasurable experience, all things considered. The Knauz Auto Group has really proven their worth to me and that they truly take customer service to the next level.

About 2 years ago I had my first encounter with Knauz. I bought a used vehicle and needed service and as I live in SE Wisconsin and Ralf Mauro ( international autos in milwaukee) got on my not so favorable side - I was happy to spend my money somewhere else, drive to the end of the world if i have to and in the process luckily stumbled on KNAUZ.
My service experience as nothing short of excellent !
Now that being said:
I just recently ( about a month ago ) purchased a brand new vehicle from ANDEAS REHDER at LANDROVER OF LAKE BLUFF.
And let me tell you - this experience was nothing short of EXCELLENT either!
Andreas was professional, knowledgeable, a pleasure to deal with. He did all the legwork, gave me a good price for my trade in and a really good price on the new vehicle.
I have bought a few new cars in the last 10 years.
Dealing with Andreas was excellent! Not exhausting, not conplicated, not pushing ( like i have seen it at other dealerships)
Overall i am very happy .

The land rover dealership at knauz was the most awful experience I have ever experience from buying a vehicle. I am glad I did not buy a vehicle at all from knauz in lake bluff. The arrogance on the finance team at land rover was remarkably rude and lack CONSIDERABLE knowledge of professionalism. Second, the lack of help I got from both BMW sales person and Mercedes is second rated. I end buying a land rover at another dealership. Knauz loss A sale due to arrogance by an employee who thinks they are too big to help and too arrogant to listen. PATHETIC

Jon shared a wealth of knowledge as I not only got a great vehicle....I got a First Class Experience. The Knauz BMW Team welcomed my wife and I to the Knauz BMW Family.

People of color AA, recieve unsociable customer service, at drive up. I asked some questions regarding my Mercedes, service provider unknowlegable. Not friendly. Wanted to get rid of me. All drive up customer service workers, did not have any customer's, they where just standing around. I went to another Mercedes dealership in Chicago.

Got a decent deal on a cerified pre owned BMW. On first use wiper blades fell apart. I put less than 3000 miles on vehicle and at my first service visit I'm being told I need to change the cabin air filters ($450).
I thought certified meant everything was checked and in top condition.

Honestly, don't get your hopes up. I had a really poor experience dealing with the sales advisors at Knauz BMW. None of them were very respectful towards my wife and I who drove out from the city to test drive a vehicle and make an offer. Our advisor literally told us we should leave if we weren't willing to pay the sticker price on a used vehicle. Of course they were willing to move on the price the next day while speaking over the telephone but still constantly adding used car salesman tactics to nickel and dime us on our trade in. This dealership is exactly like all the others out there.

I had an unpleasant experience at the Audi Exchange in Highland Park with two salesmen who seemed uninterested in selling a car to me even though I was a repeat customer there. Consequently, I turned my attention to BMW, built a 430i online and headed off to Knauz. I was fortunate enough to be greeted by Marek who helped me to refine my online build, evaluated my Audi trade-in and ran the numbers. He then offered me a deal that I couldn t refuse. My feeling is that the Audi dealer wanted to sell whatever was in stock and ordering a built to order car was all but out of the question. Marek had a much different approach. Although Knauz did not have the exact car I wanted in stock, he never suggested that I might like something similar that was on the floor. Without hesitation, he wrote the build order, I gave him a small deposit and, just like that, my 430i was in the works. It s expected to arrive sometime in February and my family and I are very excited. Thank you Marek, thank you Knauz.

I had a fantastic experience with my new car purchase with Steve Chase of KNAUZ. Steve has taken care of my family and I on several occasions. I was also fortunate to meet Salvo Geraci this time as he helped me understand how the new Discovery operates. Great experience and I would recommend Knauz to anyone.

Bill Dierks at Hyundai was wonderful to work with. I looked at cars all over the Chicago area and purchased here because of his knowledge and patience. The experience at the dealership was always friendly and low key. When I picked up my car the care that was taken by all on staff to make sure I was happy and that I learned all the car features was an experience I've never had in years of buying cars.

I agree with Sam Brown's post. I really don't know how this dealership manages to sell cars? I live only a couple miles from Knauz, and I've tried repeatedly to buy a car from them, only to end up getting it in Schaumburg or Chicago. I too have lived here 31 years. My first experience was one I can only describe as "dismissive". I was wearing jeans and a t-shirt, and the salesman told me I probably couldn't afford the car I was looking at. (I pay cash for all my cars). On my latest attempt to purchase a car, I gathered all the invoice pricing info on the base price and the options, and the sales manager wouldn't even take my offer. He never even heard what I planned to offer. Got the "I'm losing money on this car as it is" line. I politely walked out and took my offer to a dealership that did accept it.

I just purchased a vehicle from Knauz Auto Park and felt compelled to share my experience. From the moment I arrived to the end result of driving away with my new car, it was easily the best car buying experience I have ever had. To that point there was really not an area that was in need of improvement. If your interested in the absolute BEST possible car buying experience, travel to Knauz and ask for Matt B. You will not be disappointed!!

Holy Smokes! Knauz Auto Park is such a nice place to deal with in regards to purchasing a vehicle. I never once felt pressured nor once did feel unappreciated there. Matt Brueggeman was our salesman and wow did he go above and beyond to make sure we got a great deal and a great vehicle. Matt delivered great customer service as well as did an awesome job representing Knauz Auto Park. would recommend anyone to head there if they are looking to purchase a vehicle!!!

They are the best dealership I have been to. We had a terrible day at other places. We come here and got nothing but A+ customer service. Al was our salesman, he did an amazing job. David in finance worked wonders and saved our day. These guys here deserve the best rating possible. Go there and experience the best car buying experience ever!

After days of no response, I had to find out from a different staff member that the Range Rover I was waiting to hear back on, was now suddenly on hold. Extremely unprofessional and I was not valued as a customer at all.

Bought a new Metris Cargo van that was already prewired for a tow hitch. When purchasing the van, Knauz sd. that they have a great place that does terrific work, that the owner came over and took all the measurements when Metris first came out. I took my van to Mt&t at their high recommendation, and he did put a hitch on, then called me in back to say he didn t know how to connect the electric. He said he would call the manager up, his friend, and would get the info. Long story short, after waiting and calling him up, he was unable to do. Found a Mercedes dealer that knew how to do the job. They had to call me in back to show me that the socket would not reach the left side of hitch that was installed by Knauzs recommended shop. The new Mercedes dealer had to take off the old hitch, and add the proper & correct hitch. Total cost with 2 hitches about $1900, and it was already prewired to right behind rear wheel. I now have a hitch that I can t use, and paid to have it installed, and then removed. Why does Knauz sell vehicles that they won t service? All I wanted was a hitch installed. Truly sorry I bought one there. Will never go back. Found a Great Mercedes Dealer in Orlando Park.

In all the years I've been going to Knauz I've never had bad service. Even though I may not be driving a 100k BMW they make me feel like it and treat me well every time. This will always be my BMW dealer.

Hi i have two cars with knauz auto at775 Rockland Rd, Lake Bluff, IL 60044
I ve been using mercedes benz for last 6years it always with class and quality. Until when i renewing my ml to gle 2years ago. I went to same location and same car for pretty much same deal and i told them to setting as autopay on file after few monthes later i found it wasnt i went to the location to get help to fix the finiancial manager told me its out of their hands and seems like doent want to willing to help at all and all he saying was i am the manager and there is nothing they can do. Since that i am having hard time to settle auto pay and i ve get charged late fee well i get it how system works i told them i am willing to pay those late fee but my experiences with knauz is not something mercedez shouldnt have. All they care about is money not the experience. You should avoid this location.

This was the most hassle-free and all around great buying experience. Bought a Mercedes and this was the easiest car purchase. My salesman josh was genuine and gave the best customer service anyone can ask for. Their prices are amazing compared to their competitors and their service is amazing. I also wanna give a huge shout out to Juan Villarreal, cool guy, I haven t owned a Mercedes before and he went pretty much in All of the details and functionality of the car. He was genuinely happy for me and even went through every vehicle setting with me. Thanks josh and Juan for making this a great experience.
