Fantastic concerts! But Ruoff is greedy. You can't bring food or drinks in, nor will they let you go out and come back in. So eat before you come and bring lots of money. Their food and drink prices will rob you blind. Example: 24 oz draft domestic beer is $13.25, and don't forget the tip jar for the servers. Apparently Ruoff doesn't pay them a decent wage so we're asked to do so.
Ruoff and the city of Noblesville should be sued into the ground and never allowed to manage sonkuch as a burger king. This place is horrible. One of the biggest music venues in the country for 20+ years and they still won't fix the infrastructure. Elementary Schools have better organization. It takes an army of cops to direct traffic traffic instead of just adding signs. You would have to be a genuinely bad person to run a place like this so poorly.
Aside from the actual artist that you pay to see, the actual experience surrounding them is awful.
Making people stand in the rain for over an hour for 20 minutes of thunderstorms is standard procedure for this place. Then you miss the opening act due to waiting for them to get you in the gate. (But no compensation for their incompetence)
I ALWAYS leave before the end of the show, the traffic control after is beyond incompetent. You'll sit for an hour trying to leave.
The food/drinks are so overpriced it's almost criminal. $8 for a Pepsi that tasted like 90% water and beer that's $13 a CAN!!
I only go here if it's a band that's not performing within a decent driving distance.
Overall a terrible place.
We love concerts here. Especially on cool summer nights.
Always have a great time here to see live music of all my favorite singers just think the drink prices are to high. I have been to many concerts here over the years and always a good time
This is a great place to go for a concert. Have been to many concerts and always have a blast. The venue is nice and the location is great. Easy to get to and the local police help to keep traffic flowing well so easy to get in and out! Make sure to catch a show when in town.
Stop changing the name, it will always be Deer Creek. Let people chill in the parking lot and sleep off the buzz if they need too. We already spent enough at your venue to have earned it.
Great place to see a band. Just don't like the 11pm shut down. My show was delayed and because of the curfew I didn't see two acts in my show.
Way too expensive for the experience. Lack of shade unless you buy VIP. Least favorite venue in Indianapolis
Nice place, with friendly employees. During warped tour had free water stations.
Great venue. Lots of food and drink options. The drinks and food are pricey! Great service at the concessions. Easy to get in. Getting out of the parking at the end was difficult. Recommend uber.
I had an amazing time. Great venue. Big shout out to Captain Red Beard that helped us out big time. I'll be back soon.
This place is good for music but you can't afford to buy even a water here and getting out of parking afterwards is terrible as always
My wife and I showed up for the Jack Johnson show on June 14th, 2018. We had lawn seats and wanted to upgrade, found the box office and got an upgrade for a very reasonable price! Staff was extremely helpful and willing to go out of their way to accommodate us and help us find our seats. The venue itself was very clean, and I was impressed with the overall professionalism of the entire experience, from parking, to the security at the gates, to the helpfulness of the staff inside the venue. This is an awesome place to go see a show, I would recommend it to anyone.
Super friendly staff. Very clean restroom. Great seats and views of stage.
Great show, prices crazy high, drink and eat before you go in.
Great place to have concerts, they provide free filter water machines to fill up a water bottle, the price of foods an drinks are average for an event place, the people walking around selling beer seemed to really enjoy interacting with all the people. Good time.
Great venue, that said, eat and drink before you go. The prices are high to capitalize on those that don t prepare.
I paid for the green section and they put me in the very far back from stage. I told a staff employee that I paid to be closer and they said to me.. "Oh Well.to late" I lost a lot of money this weekend do to this!
Tons of great acts come here. There are no bad seats, you can bring in unopened bottled water and a gallon-size ziplock bag of snacks. If you opt for lawn seating you can bring a blanket or low beach chair(<9") to sit on. The audio is terrific so you can hear the band above all of the people near you singing along!
Outside of the traffic, always a good experience. Drink prices are extortion even for a venue.
Awesome facility to see a concert, easily accessible, staff was awesome
Awesome concert venue.love this place.great ticket prices amd staff are friendly. Alcohol is a little high but oh well fun anyway. Breaking Benjamin Red chevelle amd saint Asonia are there best.cant wait to see highly suspect here
I ve been going o this venue since it was first Verizon wireless, I ve got more good memories here with family and friends than almost anywhere else on the planet this is usually my summer home away from home. I ve seen countless shows here and the only reason I m writing a review is because Rouff is ruining this venue. I understand the point is for them to make a profit but the ticket prices this year are outragous. We bought marked up resale tickets for pit for avenged sevenfold a sold out show at the Bridgestone arena in Nashville in January and for the price of both marked up tickets you can barely buy 1 pit at rouff. It s not even competitive, I get the better seats cost more but pits always been low hundreds here, mid $150 range at most. And rob zombie and Manson are $224 for pit. I just bought METALLICA pit tickets for bankers life for $200. I m not talkin out my @$$ here I love this venue, but Rouff should be ashamed. This isn t good business. Just so you re all aware, you re being screwed.
It will always be Deer Creek. Security is not that great and never enough people working the concession stands.
Great place to attend an outdoor concert. We attended the Imagine Dragons concert. There are real restrooms that aren't porta potties. Drinks are poured heavy and a great price for your money. Don't try to rush when you are leaving! Parking is CRAZY. Just be patient and relax while everyone else rush's nowhere.
There was a threat of rain @ Cheap Trick/Poison on 6/7/18. So they let everyone that bought cheap lawn seats flow into empty seats under the roof. I pay $80 to make sure I get a seat & dont get rained on. They pay $25 & end up with better seats that I do as well as block my view. Pretty sad!!
As an audio taper for the Dead & Company show, I was really impressed with my first time at such a historical concert venue! Security was very understanding and cooperative toward allowing me through bag check with my audio recording gear. Thanks again, Seth, and thanks Ruoff for such a wonderful concert from a beautiful lawn! Still Deer Creek to me!
This was my 3rd concert experience at this venue. It is set up very nicely, the pavilion is great. The staff has been helpful and courteous every time I have been here.
Clean, well staffed, polite employees, great sound, & plenty of toilet facilities.
Good seating. Outdoor feel but with good weather cover. Not too loud, but full sound. Jimmy Buffett concert.
Good place to see a show.
Some of their policies are ridiculous!
I have been to 3 concerts over the last 2 yrs and everytime seems to be one problem after another first is parking. They have young kids just standing thier pretending they are doing somthing but are not ,you would think that they would be directing trafic nope only way to get out is to make somone let you out. took over and 1 hr just to get out of the parking lot. Next you would also think if you pay for vip parking you would have a clean clear path maybe black top or concrete path to walk nope ,nope gravel mud pit til you are 100 yrd from entrance. My wife was feeling ill one employee got her chair to sit in out of the crowd then another employee kepy harrassing me for not being in my seat. Tried to explain he did not want to hear it. He was a complete douche bag looking for a confrontation. Than last night at Dierks bently drunks kept bumping into me and my wife one time so hard almost knocked me down. I turned and said excuse me and the drunk trys to attack me pushing and chrarging me until I had to emobilize him. I was then kicked out of the venue for no reason. 300 ea we paid to see Dierks vip experience and it was ruined because of poor mangement and lousy employees. Do your self a favor go any where but here it is a complete money grab ran by arrogant people. who think they are above the people that come there.
Watch the person checking your stuff very carefully. Other then that it's a great concert arena.
Great concert venue. Staff, security and vendors were fantastic and friendly
This is terrible..I sat close to the exit, as I am handicapped..literally hundreds of people blocking the sidewalk, couldn't get out if I tried..being stepped on, stuff hitting me..will never come here again!!
Uber section was awesome! Got right out of the lot!
It's been a few years since I've been to Deer Creek, but I'm very impressed with the changes that have been made. It is clear that Live Nation is trying to milk all the money they can from the place, but they are doing it in ways that make sense. (pay for better parking, or earlier access to the lawn, the availability of season tickets, concession workers that will take your order from your seat so you don't have to stand in line, etc.). But what really got me was the workers. The concession workers worked hard and were friendly and lines were kept short. The sanitation workers kept the place clean, and I saw one guy even help a drunk man avoid a run-in with security. Even the bathrooms have attendants to help keep the lines moving. I was impressed, and I've changed my mind on how I feel about this venue.
To me this place will always be Deer Creek.
That aside. A lot has changed, a little for the better. A lot not so much.
Uber and Lyft are your only taxi service. We have always driven ourselves. This is the first time ever that we used an Uber. I have a knee injury, and I usually buy a parking pass because of that reason. I had not purchased one, thinking we would try this.
BTW parking passes are 40.00 this year!
We got there and they drop us off at the cross-section of Boden Rd.& And the entrance!
My knee and leg is hurting extra this morning as I write this. And this is everyone dropping anyone off!
So parents be forewarned, you're not allowed to drive them all the way in! They have concrete barriers in the way of the circle now. it's not like they don't have the property to set up a better area closer to the entrance. This is insanity and this is b*******. So unhappy.
They make enough money off of us to make this better. Much better.
They're too busy trying to make money off of us for all the extras inside. This can be an expensive night out if you have never been here before.
Section F row BB seats 28&29, great seats for a reasonable price.
Attended Journey and Def Leppard in 2018. Great experience!
DMB concert and gates open at 6. STLL WAITING people it's 6:20!
Great concert venue. Everyone has a good time despite expensive drinks.
Had a great time! My friend and I went to the concert. This is the first time I ever been there and the staff there was great. Can't remember her name and a nurse pushed me on my walker because I was struggling to walk all that way. Meet Mitchell there by the ramp by to the wheelchair area. What a great concert (The Who). Thanks all the staff, Allen
We went to the train and goo goo dolls concert. The concert itself was amazing but their camera crew was horrible.
Saw Foreigner and Cheap Trick play for their 40th anniversary last year. Great time!
Nice venue. Dark Side of the Mule was killer! However, beers were 14 f-ing dollars a piece! Do yourself a favor and sneak in your own booze.
It wasn't as nice as I thought it would be. The parking is not very good and its kind of backwoods style. Okay for some I'm sure but not my idea of an entertainment center.
Took my youngest to her first concert. We had lawn tickets. While walking around an employee walked up to us an offered us pavilion seats. While seated I realized they we giving tickets to family's that brought children. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my daughters first concert closer than I could afford.
Bob Seger was incredible. He still rocks it out of the park.
First off it's Deer Creek. It's a great venue. I generally have fewer problems getting in/out than with other venues. I took off 1 star for the drink prices. $16 for a beer? That seems excessive for the area.
Being able to see Chris Brown live in person...so close to home..and experience I will never forget!!!!
Drinks are pricey, but still the best place to see a summer concert!
Kid Rock was awesome as always!! Didn't like that one of the beer vendors tried over charging everyone. Said "his price included his tip", sorry not your call sir!
Musicfor any style Nd any walk of like you can come here and make memories for a lifetime.
GOOD & BAD...
Here's my take... In general, people (myself included) will tend to favorably rate venues such as this simply because they enjoyed the show... So let's remove the 'performance' from the overall 'experience' and focus on the Venue...
Lawn seating is typically fun & is most definitely a better social experience than what you'd get with pavilion seating... However, as with any large crowd of inebriated & otherwise altered individuals, you're more likely to witness/encounter confrontation...
The Food, Beverage, & Merchandise prices, at the Klipsch Music Center, are teetering on the side of Gross Exploitation and are the #1 reason why I no longer attend concerts at this venue...
In Summary... You'll most likely have a good time, with good friends, watching a good show... However, those factors will produce a favorable experience anywhere/everytime with zero consideration for venue...
Had a great time watching the Twins of Evil last night
