Nice view of the lake, generally good for lingering. As such, the KKL of course always has to offer top-class music.

The cultural center of the city of Lucerne. Concert Hall and Museum of Art. A great place for an evening with a cultural program. Many interesting concerts and festivals, both classical music and modern.

Full of hustle and bustle. Has super market,eateries etc etc.

Everything ok except partly very annoyed and unfriendly staff. Not the service anymore the little busybody and above all Pompous women.

Also shopping center day and night. Medical center, toilet center, multi-storey car park ..

Nice town to see . If planning for Switzerland I suggest better go to Austria same landscape. Switzerland exploits the tourist a lot .

A concert hall with excellent sound effects. There is also a museum.

Presentation replaced at short notice without explanation by another (not equivalent) program. You only had 7 days to react to the information, otherwise you get the tickets for the new program as a replacement.

Addendum: From 1 to 3 stars, because I was informed by email what the reason is. In short: organizational problem.

After months of anticipation, to find out a few weeks before the actual concert that the performance has been canceled and replaced with a program that is not of the same quality is a huge frustration. And of course you don't even have a week for a possible reimbursement, otherwise several hundred francs are wasted because the tickets will be transferred if you do not register! Absolutely weak and disappointing.

Highly recommended! Acoustics and view from all seats are excellent.
The Christmas concert was wonderful. However, the moderation of Sky du Mont did not convince us.

The strategic position offers, on the one hand a magnificent view of the city of Lucerne, the Lake of the 4 Cantons and the mountains and on the other the possibility of being easily accessible given the proximity to the train station and the main communication routes. The concert hall has perfect acoustics that allow you to fully enjoy the concert season and numerous symphonic events and festivals

Building spoils the place by the lake. Dreadful. But it's just a personal opinion.

Excellent, multifunctional room. Easy to get from different places. Close to the train station and large covered parking lots. A hall with excellent acoustics and visibility from anywhere. Near most of Lucerne's attractions, the marina. There are many restaurants and cafes at the station. I recommend "tibits" for vegetarians

Orchestra is great there for sure. The cinema concert was amazing.
It is a very nice modern concert hall. Very nicely organised seats. On the website while choosing tickets you can even double check the view from the every single seat. I found it pretty cool as well as very acurate. Toilet rooms are very new and clean, though very busy. Bar was well organised with pretty reasonable waiting times.

Concerts are always worthwhile, but Ambiente has exorbitant prices.
