A very nice performance hall but the seats a little narrow

Bar service in breaks could go faster

Quite large in terms of capacity of people. I went and managed to get tickets for a recital that was 1 hour later. Nice place. Very tall and comfortable. Good seats.

The culture and congress center KKL planned by the well-known architect Jean Nouvel is a modern and interesting building. Opened in 1998, it became one of the outstanding properties in Lucerne. His original idea of letting the building protrude into the water like a ship, which was not implemented for various reasons, was implemented with a reverse effect. The water enters the house in canals and the roof extends over the lake.
There are actually three parts of the building that merge. The concert hall, whose acoustics are highly praised, a multifunctional hall, the art museum and other conference rooms are established in them. Gastronomic rooms offer a well-rounded offer that also takes the respective occasions into account.
The seats in the concert hall gave rise to criticism, as they were probably designed to be uncomfortable for reasons of cost, a flaw that should not be avoided with such an object these days.
The building has upgraded the city of Lucerne as a culturally interesting place without being too exuberant.

The KKL in Lucerne offers first-class architecture. A dream comes true every time I am allowed to take a seat in the concert hall. A lot of live film music is offered here. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy was of course great too!

A great concert hall, probably the best in Switzerland. Ideally connected to public transport, always a varied program, mostly fair prices.

The acoustics in the concert hall are excellent. Though I wish the balcony wasn't so far away from the stage.

The culture and congress center is worth a visit for its architecture alone. The building, which is located directly on the lake, blends in perfectly with its surroundings. The large square in front of it invites you to relax. In summer you can watch a lot of people sunbathing there. The acoustics in the large concert hall are simply excellent. You can enjoy the music superbly in every corner. The small bar forms the beautiful conclusion to this great location.

The crowd in the breaks is annoying. The acoustics are very good.

We had booked for the break in advance a table with snacks and Champaner. However, this was so far away from the entrance to the concert hall that we had very little time to enjoy our snack. Otherwise everything was great.

A concert hall with excellent sound effects. There is also a museum.

Excellent venue with amazing acoustic. I was in back row of the 4th balcony but had not problem with sound quality. The top floor bar is also amazing for an interval drink. Beautiful views in amazing architecture

Excellent, multifunctional room. Easy to get from different places. Close to the train station and large covered parking lots. A hall with excellent acoustics and visibility from anywhere. Near most of Lucerne's attractions, the marina. There are many restaurants and cafes at the station. I recommend "tibits" for vegetarians

We went there for a concert and I have to say a truly special place. I'm looking forward to going there again.
