Friendly and fast service, except the almost empty shelves on ammunition, excellent service...

Great selection and very helpful staff. I went in to get some hiking boots, not really knowing what I wanted. The woman working there clearly knew the products well and I was able to find a pair that felt like they were made for my feet. The have the best selection of outdoor themed clothing as well. Highly recommend.

I shop here for outerwear and pocketknives. I'm not a huge outdoorswoman, but I do walk a ton in all kinds of weather. The prices are always good, they always have a big size selection, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Always a great place to get a good deal. Very clean bathrooms too!

So this is my 3rd visit in like 3 weeks period. I bought my first compound bow from Kittery (BowTech Carbon Icon)Jessie one of the employee that helped with my purchase and put her through hell with all those newbie questions but she more than helpful and patient with every question. Today I went back after having the bow for like 2 weeks to make some adjustments and add an arrow rest and a new sight and Mr. Kevin was like really thorough with my bow he spend like 45 minutes re-adjust everything. The result? Such a nice stuff definitely recommend

Bought an Autopilot 120 kayak here for $400 under the MSRP, they helped me put it on my car and made sure it wasn t going anywhere.

I brought my shotgun in which looked brand new as I've only used it a couple times. The guy behind the counter never looked into his pricing guide and just threw out a lowball number. Offered $300 trade-in, and never said what the cash value was, for a gun selling for $700 online. He was rude and didn't seem to care that he wasn't actually trying to complete a deal with a customer.

Loved this place, basically a pilgrimage for the sportsmen. Bought a awesome Filson hat and looked at some cool guns,the store has even more to offer but didn't have time.

Great place to get apparel, gear, and anything you can think of.

It's always fun to visit the trading post. A lot of items are a bit pricey but that's to be expected from an attraction like this. Most of the time I always leave empty handed but I still enjoy my time in here.

Always a fun place to visit and shop at. An incredibly large and varied assortment of products available, including hard-to-find items. A savy shopper can find many deals here.

Crazy busy and poorly laid out. I'm not sure why exactly this place is such an institution. I was only interested in checking out their Filson stuff which, while limited was priced well.

When for fudge it was closed but then they opened it right before I left but didn't have my favorite coconut custard ! Mabey next time .so good

I jumped through 100 hoops, confirmed the revolver I purchased is on the state compliance roster, confirmed with my FFL receiver, even called Smith & Wesson directly and confirmed that the specific revolver is 100% state compliant in Massachusetts. S&W told me that their website just hasn't been updated but it is 100% on the state roster and good to go. They told me to always check the state list and not rely on their website being updated but Kittery Trading Post says that "S&W's website supersedes the state list"... You can't make this stuff up... It's a simple Smith & Wesson Model 19-9 Performance Center Carry Comp k-frame revolver with 3 barrel that was re-introduced by S&W in 2018. IT IS 100% STATE COMPLIANT. KTP refused to deliver a simple revolver that I legally purchased all because they don't know how to read a state compliance roster and then they lied to me and cancelled my sale. Attached is a screen shot of the model 19 on the state compliance list, clear as day... They're either liars or incompetent. I already found the same exact gun for cheaper with zero hassle. Don't waste your time with this place.

Great sale prices; otherwise, rather expensive. Just about everything available. Staff knowledgeable & helpful, & plenty of people available to help you.

So of all the outlet stores this is by far the best and biggest attraction. It has something for kids, women and men. I love the store easily can kill about 2hours in it looking around. They do have a great selection of stuff. I visit it everytime I'm in the area and bring gifts from there back home.

Only drawbacks its not cheap by anymeans and the staff is well hard to find. I been there a few times and staff doesn't go out of there way to help you out much. (reason for 4 instead of 5 star)

I would recommend anyone up in Maine by this store to check it out, lots of cool stuff and worth it!

Is this not everyone's favorite place in Kittery? Love love love to come here. There is something for everyone in the entire family! Kids can shop for toys, the husband can shop for camping equipment, and you can find me in the gun section and the candy section. Hey, remember, its the simple things in life. Food, drink, and my right to bear arms.

I have purchased firearms from all over the country and they are the worst I have ever had any dealings with. They act like they are trying to help when you have them on the phone but it is just a fast way to get you off the phone. Then in maybe 4 days if you are lucky they might get back to you.

This store is blessing to discover and future visits will be required once settled in to our Maine residence.

Great selection of outdoors goods, sale item pricing is pretty good..... But regular prices are a bit high. Purchased a bow for my wife and went for setup an hour before closing, was told not enough time afte5 the week prior my setup was done in less than half hour by another tech. Totally seemed like the man didn't care to help or want to put the effort in to save us another 2 hours of drive time. Service is not what I would call good on a Friday

It would of been nice to have more things for the smaller children I was there with two of my grandchildren Aubrey 3 and Olivia almost 2, today the 8th. More animals for them to pet and more games and maybe some Disney characters walking around. Things like that. We did have a good time. You need children nuggets at your food shack.

the lady at customer service was not helpful at all and was being extremely rude.

Great place to find something warm for winter. We have been here many times, and always enjoy the complete outdoor shopping experience. A good place to pick up a gift for a friend, too.

Cool store. However the food tent outside has the most rudest lady running the window. She looked at us and barked "I'm mad. 35 minute wait". Then the whole time she called out orders with the worst attitude over the intercom. If you didn't pick up your food fast enough she would get mad and haller out again like it was bothering her. She should find a new job that makes her happy instead of being rude!!!

Therefore Septemberfest today. Got excited about a Patagonia fleece. Felt more than disappointed that the 20% off coupon was not honored. I'm not unreasonable but the exception is not clear until you get to the checkout counter. Would have left it there but I was with my granddaughter who was really excited about it. Too expensive

I grew up in this area and always visit whenever I go home to spend time with family. The prices are expensive however the quality of the products is absolutely the best. For high quality clothing, sports gear, gift and souvenir items, this is the place to go. You get what you pay for. If I am going to buy something for a loved one, I would rather buy them something of high quality (even though I spend more there). They have very unique gift items you don't find anywhere else. Many of these gifts I have bought for my family from this business are going to be family heirlooms. Besides the high quality prices, it is a fun place to shop. Things are spread among many floors and the place is always spotlessly clean. Plenty of parking, right off the main highway. If you have never been it is worth the experience. I acquaint it to a theme park. Just being in the store, you know you are somewhere very special. And there are plenty of staff members around who are extremely pleasant to guide you through the store for anything particular you are looking for. I worked in this business for a short time while I was a teenager. Even then I knew I was working somewhere really special.

This is a fun place to stop and stretch your legs.....always something new to find....it is very touristy and if you have not stopped it is worth a visit

Love this store. Food stand outside is terrible. Got a pulled pork sandwich and the meat was all burned. Black. Threw it away.

Update the hours on the website to include the hours of FIREARM SALES since apparently they stop an hour before the store closes.
Today: Bought a rifle on their website earlier, called to make sure it was actually there before i wasted the 45 minute drive (that was another disappointing KTP story 2 years ago). Showed up at 6:25 and was told by a snarky manager that firearm sales stop an hour before the store closes. Told me to come back another time before 6. The firearm sales clerk i called to make sure it was actually there never mentioned that the firearm sales would end in 15 more minutes. How the hell would I have known that? I even TOLD the guy I was calling ahead so I didn't waste my time driving over from Sanford for nothing (like that other time). Wasted an hour and a half of my life driving to and from a store that honestly irritates me more and more every time I go. And the 'manager' not having a solution? No apology? Not even a 'Sorry for the misunderstanding'? 'Sorry we don't have the technology to put the firearm sale hours next to our store hours on the website'? 'Sorry the Firearms Sales Specialist you talked to on the phone neglected to mention we stop selling firearms in 15 minutes even though you told him you're driving up from 45 minutes away'? SO glad I called to cancel the order on the ride back home. I have spent literal THOUSANDS of dollars at that store over the years. Not only did they lose a sale, they lost a customer. I'm finally done. Save yourself the hassle, buy from local small shops, even if you have to order it online and have it transferred by them. Read through some of the other reviews and you'll see similar complaints, and never a public response from KTP!

Had most of what I was looking for. Ammo is still hard to come by.

This is the most amazing sports and outdoor store I was ever at goodbye cabelas and bass pro . Take the family thy have something for everyone.

Was working in the area last year and someone told me about the place. So the next time I was up that way I made it a point to go by and see what all they had. I was not disappointed at all. Kittery Trading Post has a awesome variety and selection of any & everything you could ever want for the great outdoors. And there prices are hard to beat. On my next trip to Maine, Kittery Trading Post will be first on my list to stop at and I'd highly recommend it for anyone else to do the same.

A good place to walk around and look....
If you need something sporting related, it might be a good place, but we have often found clothing and shoes on sale at reasonable prices. If they have a "tent sale" it is usually a better deal than you will find elsewhere. Lots of souvenir type items, a fidge stand, and an outdoor food stand, this is a nice stop.

If you can't find it at Kittery Trading Post you don't need it. Great place!!!

If you have ever been outside this is the place for you. Even if you don't buy anything it is fun to walk through!

The lobster pot was terrible. Not only did they close their grill early, they gave other people there ice cream that was behind me in line while mine was right there. All they had to do was hand it to me.

Love this store. Something to be said for small family businesses and the type of service that comes with it. Friendly knowlegable staff and everything you could possibly need in one store. My kiddo loves running around exploring too.

The staff is extraordinarily committed to delivering a high level of quality customer support and assistance. No doubt a lot of that comes from the fact that the Trading Post is a landmark in Kittery, Maine, and staffed largely by local residents who know the importance of an outstanding reputation.

I would call Kittery Trading Post a "classy" store, and among the top favorite stores in America. The people who work there are true professionals.

Everyone is always helpful. Especially Dave up in archery. He set up my new bow that i got 2 deer with this year and helped me with a camera and mount. Wicked nice guy and is also very patient, (I had my 7 year old twins with me) never had a bad experience at KTP.

They have everything, just sometimes it's hard to find. The layout of the store can seem pretty confusing.

I go here once a year to do my Christmas shopping and while I'm there get some nice work clothes. you can spend a day here easily. Bass pro and Cabelas' are nothing compared to this place. NOTHING!!!

One of my favorite places to shop. Pick up a camp chair that rocks for 39.99 instead of 69.99. Plus a Maine cabin masters shirt.

Nice building, but it's just a bass pro knock off geared towards tourists that don't know you can get everything there from anywhere else way cheaper.
