Winterfest in the park is so beautiful!! They do such a great job with the decorations. And the performers and singers are top notch!

It's not ok for a person with a green disability paper to wait 45 min.to get on a Ride.. just sitting there.. and when I left with my grandkids to ride something else, they said I had I couldn't until I ride the ride with the time written on it to wait 45 min.. RIDICULOUS... SO TWICE we just sat there and waisting time that we drove so far for to enjoy the day..
We love this place and we are sadly going to miss it since we aren't renewing our passes for next year.
Fun fun fun. Went on mothers day and the park was empty. Didnt have to wait in line longer than 5 minutes
The haunted attractions are top notch during halloween. I would suggest going on a Sunday due to crowding. Also purchase the freight lane pass, it's worth it. The Intimidator is the best coaster I have ever ridden, definitely the fastest.
I had the worst experiences, I m never coming back here. I did they payment plan so I could come back on the weekends and some week days but I only went once and when I call up the to pay it off they was so rude. The lady on the phone was like you have to pay it on your date and hung up
( this was a waste of time and money)!!!
A regional staple for family fun. So much nicer since Cedar Fair bought it. Clean and fun. In park purchases are pricey but that's to be expected at these sort of places.
We had a great time and there are lots of rides and games. But it was pretty dirty overall. Like everything needed updating/new paint and just cleaned really well. It's mostly high school or college aged kids working, so doesn't seem like they care about hygiene. And the refill stations were disgusting in a few places with flies everywhere and super full/dirty. We had pizza and fries that were good.
Doesn't run as well as some other Cedar Fair parks but has some really good rides.
Winterfest is on! November 23, 2019 - January 1, 2020.
Great food higher then need be and the rides all great until you get people that dont want to ride unless they in a group so it leaves empty carts
It was very fun a bit small but there where a lot of things to do.
Short lines, good rides, but the chicken was too expensive.
Expensive but fun. The volcano was the best rollercoaster I've ever rode
Awesome place. Ride are new, staff is very friendly, and it is clean
Clean park. Go on a week day or a day when cloudy with showers so it wont be crowded.
Rides for all ages and so much nicer than Six Flags in MD. All of us were happy from the 7 to 47 year old. The roller coasters were scary, the splash park wet and wonderful, and all the rest of the rides were fabulous. Only drawback was the terrible burgers (frozen, old, and icky) at Hungry Hippos. We went on a Monday which meant NO LINES and kind but VERY safety concious park workers. Looking forward to going again next August when a great deal on Groupon appears.
I have been going here at least twice a year, and always have a great time! I enjoy the variety of rides available, and enjoy the special events. I often come for the Halloween event, and am surprised how quickly they are able to get people through the haunted houses without actually feeling rushed. Will be going here for many years to come I am sure.
It's cool today I'm going to perform their in a band concert
Long lines for everything. One ride, stop letting people on. Go figure!!!
We had fun with the music in the parks event. Just wish they didn't over price water bottles and drinks.
We are from Atlanta, and we absolutely love King's Dominion! Every ride is thrilling, even the ones for little kids
The kids loved it. If you have been to Knott's Berry Farm in California your kids will love this. My family liked it better actually. A lot of shade and there are actual bars to drink at if your kids are on one.
Very clean park with mostly updated and well maintained rides, park employees always willing to help, food could be better with price and sometimes quality, you can finish the park in just a day, overall good experience
First time taking my daughter there they had a great time might go back someday. I was there as a little kid boy it has changed a lot over the years for the price couldn't beat the deal.
It's an decent park but the outside of the park is horrible
I feel like the upkeep on small things is lacking.. like lights on the Area 51 ride and cleanliness
It has a lot of rides big rollercoaster and other rides as well
Lots of fun packed into an amusement park. Kid friendly area(Planet snoopy). Great water park for summertime fun. Great food, my favorite is the boardwalk fries. Can also fina Chik-fil-A and other restaurants inside the park.
Great park. Get the season pass. So worth it. Pays for itself in less than 2 visits and includes free parking.
Always fantastic! Such a great time for our family!
As far as theme parks go, this is pretty grungy. Dirty environment, no fan water misters for hot days which can lead to a good number of people having heat stroke, very little shaded areas, very few air conditioned areas, many broken down rides or rides that people were stuck waiting on for a variety of reasons. Staff was generally rude and unhelpful from guest services to the individual rides to the restaurants. Water park was filthy and over crowded. They kick you off the Lazy River after one lap and you have to stand in line again. Childrens play areas in water park were not well supervised nor adequately fenced in. Food was terrible, NO healthy options offered anywhere! One restaurant said "Fruit, veggies, and healthy options" but all they actually had was a dozen soda coolers and one basket of apples. Lockers in water park were malfunctioning also.
Although it's a pretty bare bones theme park, it's still a blast! They took all the money from the aesthetics and put it into the roller coasters. Now I come from Busch gardens coasters, which I love, but Kings Dominion makes Busch Gardens' roller coasters look like kiddie rides. I rode every single one at least twice and loved them all. Some I could ride more than once because they're so intense! Honestly, I'm surprised a couple of them are even legal. They must be right at the threshold of physically safe... probably why I love them.
Awesome place, with a lot of roller coaster. Fun for the entire family.
We are going every year now its so much fun . The fun , fast .
Park has lots to see and do but food is crazy expensive.
Fun for kids. My son loves it. In peak season need to have more staff to run rides. Some are closed.
Haunted Halloween was so much fun. The atmosphere had a static electricity to it. I felt 20 years younger that night.
Loved it. Had a blast! Staff was friendly, park was clean.
The Haunted Halloween was mediocre, the rides were good
Love this place and my kids love it as well plenty to do for the whole family
Kings Dominion is the best theme park i had ever went to
Beautiful park, some cool rides and great food options
Friendly staff and plenty to do. My children and I have visited the park 15 times this season and plan to return for the Halloween Haunt and WinterFest. This is our 6th year getting season passes, we live 45 minutes from Six Flags America but find the 2 1/2 hour drive to King s Dominion is well worth it. We enjoy the atmosphere and variety of rides. We also enjoy the extras such as Carnival, Monster Jam and variety of shows.
I LOVE kings dominion. Been a favorite since 1998!!! I wiah they bring back the james bond 007 ride tho. Anyway, we went this past friday. Humidity was low....not crowded at all! Had a good time! We took our own food and it tasted bomb. Umm, what else...the carnival shows were great, the music, costumes, decorations...the whole thing was a vibe. I shouldve took more pics but i was living in the moment lol
We are regular Disney goers and decided to bring the family here during our DC trip. We had a blast...so many rides you cannot do everything. Snoopy World for the little one and Roller coasters for my tween (her favorite ride was Intimidator 305). I even got my wife on Flight of Fear! We had an awesome experience and would most definitely say it is worth the money.
Obviously think way too highly of their park.....don't waste your time you will b disappointed
great rides but the cleanliness of restrooms could use some serious help!
This place was great. A little cold, but me and my sons still rode all except one roller coaster..Price for all admission when we visited was, (children rate)..So we saved a little bit..
Love this amusement park!! My family and I always have a wonderful time at this amusement park and the employees have always been nice and helpful
Kings Dominion has an amazing collection of rides and 2 of my favorite roller coasters, Twisted Timbers and Intimidator 305. The staff was friendly and made our visit very enjoyable! Looking forward to coming back!
Kings Dominion was absolutely amazing!!! I've been to tons of amusement parks including cedar point, the best park in the world! Kings Dominion was almost, if not as good ascedar point! It was awesome!!!
So many fun rides for all ages. Food is okay. Pack your own food!
I have loved this place since I was a little kid. Season pass is definitely worth the money even if you only go a couple times a year. Staff is always nice.
A lot has changed since my last visit but still great fun. If you plan on staying the whole day GET THE MEAL PLAN! Also buy the refillable cup. Snoopy land is great for kids but definitely a Thrill ride park so if your not into those it might not be the park for you.Tickets are slightly over priced so I would look into season passes or deals if you plan on going more than once. But overall great fun.
It sucks that bigger guys can't ride most of the rides because if shoulder size but nice park
It was really nice kid friendly very big park lots of walking
Lot of rides, soak city with water rides, wave pools. So many riding options for kids and adults. My family loves this place.
It has a spectacular selection of extreme rollercoasters, military friendly fares, and overpriced mediocre food. Do not mix the first one with the last one. (See photo)
Most of the rides for kids were closed. Most concession stands were closed. The park was under staffed severely.
I had an amazing time here, the lines were easy breezy and a quick Google search can help you find an amazing deal on a ticket, often times half off! The Intimidator is the best!!
This is one of my favorite amusement parks. The volcano is a MUST RIDE! But check if it is open before you go because last I checked they were doing some construction on it.
