Best hotel in Dar es Salaam with a Nice roof top bar.

5 Star hotel now known as Hyatt regency hotel its has good facilities and comfortable rooms. Very nice pool area serving cocktails and snacks. Well fitted gym and full service spa. In-house restaurants my best is the Chinese restaurant on the basement best in dar and have some of the best eateries in town, also boast an upscale coffee shop at ground level.

The hotel rooms, pool, and cafe/restaurants are great. The spa is a farce. Spend that money on food and else. Do not bother with the spa. Not worth it, at all.

Great view of Dar harbor from level 8 with lovely soft music but only disappointed in their "spiced" tea that is not spicy after all. Generally the service is great.

Luxurious, facing ocean second best hotel in Tanzania

This is one of the top rated hotels in Tanzania. It is also one of the oldest. It's a great place to visit for a panoramic view of Dar the city and the port. And if just going for a night out you can have dinner at the restaurant and proceed to the rooftop lounge for a drink. They've got a great DJ that it'll feel like the best live band you've ever listened to.

Seafood Buffer on a Thursday night is a highlight for a luxurious dinner.
Finish that off with a drink on the rooftop overlooking the harbour.
