Corona Public Library Review

Great library in the morning and early afternoon. Plenty of space, books, and computers. Then schools are out and the place is overrun by pre-teens and teens screaming, yelling, laughing, playing hide and seek, etc., etc. At that point a Starbucks is a much better option to get work done.

Also their zipbooks program has been suspended.

It's right in the middle of Corona (Main and Sixth) and there is a bus stop (RTA #3 and Corona Circle Cruiser) on Main.

I love this library. I've used it many times for college research projects and simply for my own entertainment. They have a great CD section.

This is a wonderful library with great support for studying, such as American computers, printers and study rooms. They have a great kids' space that is decorated very cute. I was surprised at all the activities they have to engage kids and help educate adults. My daughter and grand kids had a great time and can't wait to go back.

Every time I borrowed books when I returned them they told me there aremissing books you have look at your home or at your car .when i went by myself to search inside library i found the missing books !!!!!!!! How and who is the person check the books before they return to there shelves really i think they have volunteers who are checking the books and they don t know what they are doing now i should pay $14 for book I m sure i return this book and it s not my problem they have volunteers staffs they don t check every book before books go inside.

I have been going since I was 4. Now I am 14 going for a language arts project. They are very helpful and availability is great

@ andrea g. Thats the funniest thing ever the food police me as a grown man can walk into the girls bathroom noone bats an eye but dont get cought eating cause homeland security has to be called, so ridiculous

This is one of the finest libraries I have ever been in, I highly recommend that you visit.

Really nice and helpful staff. Huge place, lots of activities for kids, large areas and private rooms to do your work

I walked in with three other girls and set our things down so we can work on a project. we sit down and a red headed lady walked up to us and was extremely rude to us. She had thought that my friend was eating and was not (but chewing gum) while there were other people besides us eating. But in her right mind it was best to confront us instead. I guess you can say our first experience there to try to work wasn t great or professional at all.

Its great to have local passport office in Library.....

I love this library, and their staff are very informative. But, It s embarrassing to see teens misbehaving and no one directs them to behave appropriately. An annoying experience was to see them play tag and bump into me while studying. I have to say to my own children, I hope to never see you behave that way.

Best place to study rather than hanging with friends in star bucks. They have large section of books and the staffs are really nice.

Decent place to study. They have a new area for teens which seems well thought out. Plenty of services for the community. Good used book store. The staff is top notch, some of the best I have ever met.

My only complaint is the hours. The city needs more funding to open this library up more hours, it's pretty sad actually.

Computers resources books newspapers, passports vending machines special courses for all ages!

It has great book but they don t provide us more librarie hours a day

A library is supposed to be a place for reading in peace and quiet. These kids that come in have no respect and are poorly raised without manners. They yell, run around, run upstairs, run downstairs, jump downstairs and are playing music. I know my child knows when to be respectful and when to be a kid because it is something that is taught not learned. An adult that was trying to read and focus asked the security guard about all the noise, the guard just threw his hands up as if he has no control. Why is there a guard in the library if he can't even control the noise from kids? Nice library but not a place to go if you want to have serious focus. These kids need to be regulated because this is not a library, it's an after school daycare.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. Thank God for libraries!

It's a good place to study until the teen area is loud as hell
you guys should take the initiative and tell them to use inside voices because its a library after all! its supposed to be silent for the most part.

Excellent staff, very friendly. Needed a place to do my project work and got it done smoothly. Quiet and peaceful.

Too noisy!!!!
School kids use this place as a play ground, talking out loud, listening to music and even running all over the place. I ve never been to a library like this one.
I complained to the desk lady and she told me: don t tell me that put it in writing and send it to the city ..
what the heck????
Go see for yourselves if you don t believe me....

i love it i always do my papers there, even though i have a computer well only when i have time.

Can't find a better place suited to study.All school research is solely done at this place.
