The Hyatt Regency Kilimanjaro is dubbed the best hotel in Dar Es Salaam deservingly so. The location and facility offer a dazzling view of the city. Centrally-located, the Hyatt Kilimanjaro gives you the taste of Dar es Salaam like no other place. The staff are highly professional individuals whose primary interest is to put a smile on your face during every interaction. The rooms are high-quality with saline bathtubs, comfortable beds, and variety of entertainment options. There s a large swimming pool with views of the ship dock and the famous fish market. The 1.8m pool is the best place for your evening rest. Make sure to stop by the gym and then the pool for the sunset. There are various areas for dining including the Palm Restaurant which is my favorite. Breakfast menu is based on country theme. Ask for Rebecca during breakfast and Jaffar during dinner. These two will give you best tips from the menu.
Overall, my two weeks stay at the Hyatt was amazing, and I ll definitely stay there during every visit to Dar Es Salaam.

The Worst 5-Star Hotel Ever

1.There were dirty dots and smears on the blanket case and bed sheet.. My skin got very ichy everytime I took a shower.
2.The pllows were so uncomfortable..too thin.. I sprained my neck and back the first night I stayed there, and the pain was still not healed after staying there for 2 weeks.
3. Terrible service. The staff were very unfriendly, talking to me always with a poker face.. When I asked for some new sleepers, the housekeeping dep. doubted me why I needed new ones?? Because nobody gave me new ones as replacement!!
4. Sometimes nobody came to take the dinner table away even when I had called them....

All in all.. I'm really disappointed and I think the hotel staff hold discrimination against Chinese guests!!!

The roof top Bar is excellent,The views are amazing on top you can see the Dar harbour and the city and the sunsets but however the service can get quite slow sometimes. The food and drinks are quite expensive just a big bottle of water costs 10,000 thats insane

Really nice place to visit. They have brunch with a live band. They also ask people from the guest to join them and sing whether you're good at it or not. They just love to have fun. Apart from that the hotel is nice as well

Wonderful hotel. Awesome Sunday morning brunch. If I was still in DSM I would make a point to go atleast once a month for the Brunch. Beautiful decor and when they had the rooftop seating it was an amazing view of DSM. Peaceful.

Excellent hotel! We'll stay here every time we're in Dar. The staff is amazing! The oriental restaurant is better than the other one, but both are ok.

Located right at the heart of Dar es salaam urban area near the state house facing the port habour. Very supportive staff with excellent services and expertise in their fields. Awesome rooms with unique designs perfect for honeymoon, holidays, business layover etc

It is a very calm place with the beautiful and view of ocean. Food is Authentic, great service.

The area is good with smooth area your welcome. And nearly fish market the area you can't regret to reach.

Exceptional view of Dar es Salaam and high standards services. Great amenities : pool and gym really appreciated as not crowded, clean.

The services were kind of slow, didn t like the food had pizza and it took forever for the staff to get rid of the plates from the table after we finished eating. However the staff was very friendly and I think the menu had very limited dishes!
