The place is pretty nice, and the food also was pretty good, the mojito are not good as they show lol but still service was pretty fast and good food front of the key west sea.
Ate here for our 30th Anniversary.. This was our 1st time in Key west. Food was great! Outdoor seating but under covered shelter. Social distance and mask required. Water view.
Good food and friendly staff. Enjoyed the live music.
Great view while eating! Awesome food and great service!
This place never disappoints. Friendly staff and good food.
Great place to stop for a quick casual meal. Several seafood items plus extensive beer list with numerous mixed drink options. Service was quick and responsive. Overall positive experience.
Hands down best food on the island. No question asked. Drinks are very very good as well and service is top notch! I had snapper, mashed potatoes and veggies and it was THE BEST. Girlfriend had filet mignon which was also incredible. Love this place.
6 STARS.
Decent food, great service, and outstanding view. Sitting in the shade on the boardwalk you can watch the boats come and go with the catch of the day. Numerous people came in and had their catch prepared by the chefs at this restaurant. You can also watch the giant tarpon come up to feed on food thrown to them. Get out of the sun, and watch the world of relaxation go by.
Wonderful view of the water and boats. Great happy hour deals.
Best restaurant food was amazing snapper was so fresh, shrimp were large and yummy drinks made with love, social distancing was managed great
Will definitely return
This place is wonderful! The atmosphere was lively and fun and the food was absolutely amazing.
Great experience! The food, drinks, service and views were all spectacular. I got the blackened mahi mahi, definitely worth a try and I'm not even a seafood person! If you're in Key West and need a great place to eat and have a few drinks, definitely come here. They even have an awesome happy hour!
Cool spot on the water. Was very busy when we were there. Good food.
No wait time very fast service.Food was good for 5 out of the 6 of us except the hair we found in our dry burger.
Great food, great service. Very hard to find parking.
Great seafood. Wait time was a little too long, but once seated, service was very good.
The lobster bisque was good. The shrimp was delicious. The hamburgers huge. Great fries. The service was great and staff very happy and accomodating! Loved it
The service was great, very attentive waitress. Our meal was with a beautiful view.
Short wait for a table of 8. Mostly good food but the bacon on my Conch Republic Smoke Burger was almost raw. A 10 ounce burger is too much for me, I wish they offered other size burgers. Good service.
Wow!! We Love this place. Our entire family thinks it's great. Everything about it speaks Key West. You really need to check it out
Wonderful flavors and great service! EAT THE TEMPURA STRAWBERRIES!!!
Tried the local brew Crazy Lady Blond Ale and it was great. Tasty food and friendly staff. Would recommend for family dining.
This is a busy place. It is open air dining and very noisy. The staff are friendly but appear to be overwhelmed trying to keep up on the night of our visit.
My buddy has fished all over North America and he said -- quite sober -- it was the best preparation (with a pesto) he'd ever had. At 72 he's a knowledgeable resource.
Pure Key West Vibes with awesome bartenders, drinks & food. If you didn't visit the 'Conch Republic'.... you didn't get the Conch outta Key West.
Nice place to have lunch while in key west. Tasty food and nice setting.
Nice open atmosphere, great food and drink excellent service
Food was great. Prices are "Key West", so a little expensive if you're a Floridian. Portions are generous though, and food and service we're fast.
Blackened Mahi-Mahi was awesome!!along with the Rice and vegetables
This was the first restaurant we visited on our long trip and we still think about how good the food was. Our service was friendly and helpful. The wait to be served was not too long either.
Interesting atmosphere where you can watch various boats floating by and enjoy an alcoholic beverage or dinner. During their happy hour they have two for one on beers and some discounts on other drinks. Our dinner included a hamburger which was tasty although not exceptional, peel and eat shrimp with exceptionally large shrimp, and the fish of the day which was swordfish with a fresh vegetable medley of green beans broccoli and carrots. Rice was also included in that dish and had a nice flavor. The quality and quantity of food was very good. None of us came out hungry. The waitress took exceptionally good care of us and was attentive. For dessert we opted to go across the street to Mattheessen s homemade ice cream which I highly recommend.
Nice place. Excellent food. Good location and excellent service.
The catch of the day was fresh and cooked perfectly. It server Sam was quick and attentive.
Friendly and family atmosphere, suitable for kids as well. Great seafood!!!
Food was fresh and great.
The catch of the day was delicious and the blackened Caesar salad was delicious as well. Food had great flavor!
On the water and good views.
Spacious and prompt food service. I would prefer hot fresh fries but they were warm and tolerable.
I would recommend this place and would come back again.
perfect for lunch by the water. fresh shrimps were amazing, catch of the day too but 3 stars are for a lobster tail. $36 before taxes and it was chewy, flavorless and I guess overcooked. After sharing the feedback with the server we didn t want to exchange it to anything else but we expected that we wouldn t see it in the check. we had to pay, although we left full lobster tail on our plates. Not even a small discount. Disappointing. Obviously they don t care about customers because of the high tourists traffic.
True definition of a tourist trap . Expensive plates, bad quality and the worst customer service I ve had literally in my entire life. I literally tried to ask the waitress a question 3 times and those 3 times she left me speaking to myself... my first red flag was when i told her that my wife had difficulty speaking english, she immediately started avoiding us. 2nd red flag was when she left while i was asking questions about the menu. 3rd red flag, we wanted the local fish choice or something like that, for some reason she got us a Mahi Mahi, of course, we didn t know, I don t ever eat fish, that fish was just bad, burned up. I ordered a pasta with shrimp and the pasta was not bad, it was a ravioli filled with spinach, the shrimp though, they tasted as if it was burned. Even the drinks, a simple coca cola and sprite, couldn t even calibrate the machine properly. They gave me like several chances to dine and dash, i tried to pay, i waved at the waitress and waived, i noticed 2 times that she was doing it intentionally, got to the point that another waiter or worker had to tell her i was waiting to pay, who has to beg in order to pay?! I payed more than 80 dollars for such poor service, poor food and even poor sodas.... yesterday i went to Sevenfish and it was a whole different experience, for the same amount of money.
My recommendation BEWARE
Food was overpriced and seems rushed. Heather our waitress was okay.
Excellent fresh catch Red Snapper .
Impeccable servers !
Get the St Kitts pasta is probably one of the best dishes here. Crab stuffed ravioli sun dried tomato, spinach, lemon sauce topped with some huge Key West Pink Shrimp. Make sure to ask for the coco bread, the aroma alone is worth it.
Conch chowder and oysters on the half shell were top notch. Good happy hour. Nice marina view and much people watching.
Open & extremely airy environment... we ordered fried shrimp with fries & cole slaw.....delicious!! Perfectly fried. Bartenders were fun & extremely helpful. Ohhhhh and we were able to watch the steelers beat the ravens on 1 of the several tvs at the bar.
Patrick, our bartender, was kind and always checking in on us. The entire staff took this whole virus situation seriously and I appreciated their dedication to keeping things clean. The food was great! I ordered steamed oysters and Mahi Mahi. Mmmmm, I'd come back!
Restaurant was packed when we arrived. Once we were seated, the server was quick and attentive. Conch fritters were great. Smoked hamburger was perfect. Nice atmosphere. Enjoyable meal
AMAZING! Restaurant was recommended to us and I can see why. We ate there for dinner last night even though there was a long wait, but we waited anyways. Our server was great and we received our food very quickly. The food was very tasty and fresh. We will definitely be returning.
Staple stop for us everytime we are here. Great 2-4-1 well happy hour from 4pm-7pm everyday. Food is always good and their soups are fantastic when it's a little chilly at night on the patio.
A scenic view of the histrorical Key West Harbor, part of old town. Restaurant and bar with the marina adds to the ambiance of the restaurant. The menu has fresh caught local sea food that is prepared to your liking. A great variety of good tasting dishes and bar drinks. Friendly staff, good service make it a fun experience in a very laid back casual way. Definitely an island atmosphere, well worth your visit while in Key West.
Great location. Good food. However tables were packed together...not great for Covid mitigation; I felt like I had to wear my mask the entire time I was seated but not eating.
Staff were friendly and excellent views. Good kids menu. Was a little pricier than expected but I guess that comes with the territory based on location.
Oysters were good but were not local so don't get too excited...we saw empty boxes of "Maine oysters" next to the dumpster.
Tried the bacon wrapped shrimp as they were 'award winning' they were good, not amazing, and the serving size was quite large.
Overall good experience and good food but I would avoid eating indoors here until Covid passes.
Fresh seafood. Huge portion. Reasonably priced in this area. It is a little bit crowded and service can be slow.
So this was our favorite restaurant that we found in key west. We actually ate here 3 times during our 5 day trip. They have a fun laid back atmosphere at a wharf, with covered open air seating, live music, great service and great food. Everything we ate was fantastic, and do ask for the reds, rather than pinks, reds aren t on the menu but they have them and they re awesome. We even took our haul from deep sea fishing there, and they did a fabulous job cooking all the mahi I got earlier that day.
Unlike many other restaurants in key west, we never felt like we blew money on overpriced food here.
Oh, and do be patient, it can get busy here, so just get your spot in line, have a seat at the huge bar and have some good drinks and appetizers while you wait.
Food was okay, it went when the cruises are not in and it took 30-45 min just to get service. Besdes that i wish they would do something more with just fry a conch. Letd get creative. I lnow this is the place to do it.
Food is always fantastic, we come here every time we're in Key West.
I love coming here when I'm in the keys. The food is great and it has a really nice atmosphere. You're right on the harbor where fishing and tour boats are coming and going. At night time it's really nice. Also if you're like me, there's some good people watching. They have saltwater aquariums in the middle, and my only complaint is that the fish need to be taken better care of. I work in the saltwater aquarium hobby and it's very obvious a few of the fish appear to be under fed or improperly fed.
Delicious food and great service.
Price not bad either.
This is an amazing fish restaurant! A local recommended it and they couldnt have been more right! Amazing conch soup, raw oysters, coconut shrimp, conch, and shrimp. Really fantastic food and fresh and great service. Plus the views on the waterfront are spectacular. A 10! I highly recommend it!
The food was amazing! The blackened snapper was mouth watering! The drinks could've been better. Had to send my first one back, but other than that a very chill environment. Would definitely be back.
We tried conch fries and key lime pie. Conch is good tactile and delicious. And, key lime pie is tasty, it's not too sweet (bit too sweet for Asian guys I suppose). Conch chowder was kind a red (tomato taste) and good too. I expected it's kind a fish market but it's not fish market much more just a seafood restaurant.
If you want a local Key West experience this is not the place to dine. Very touristy & the food is only OK. I would compare this experience to a large chain type restaurant. Walk around the corner to more local places.
Phenomenal conch chowder and coconut shrimp...go at lunch, dinner crowd humongous!
Mediocre food and atmosphere. Stuffed shrimp was disgusting (supposedly master chef worthy) and the rice was awful not fresh and bland veggies. Burger was just okay. Only thing Server said was he can bring sauce to make the shrimp better. The menu was not very intriguing either. We came here because of the reputation but I have no idea how this place is so well known.
A wonderful lunch at the Conch Republic. Water front dining, good cocktail (Monitz) and local bear tasting (funky Buddha, iguana bait, conch farm ale, Key West sunset ale). Conch chowder has a lot of conch in it. Cracked conch and conch fritters are also tasty. The Main was a Mahi mahi, serviced with lots of vege and mashed potatoes.
Loved it. More than ample seating. Great location. Lots of selection and everything looked really good. Had a salad with blackened fish on it. Delicious, and the dressing was really good too. Would def eat there again on next trip.
Had the snapper and the chowda. Great food and great service. Put the house hot sauce on your food.
The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Nice selection of craft beers and cocktails. They had some live music going which was nice as well. Good place to see the water, relax, have a drink and eat some tasty food.
We had a group dinner here, catered by Conch Republic. Lobster Tail, Roast Beef and Mahi. All were delicious and the service was excellent. The live musician was really good and we enjoyed the ambiance and views. I was told that the white building behind the Conch Republic is Jimmy Buffets recording studio..
Fast and friendly service with attention to cleanliness. Restaurant staff sanitized the tables between guests. Food and drinks arrived quickly and were prepared perfectly.
A hotel that we're staying at suggested this restaurant, and they were right. It was amazing! I had the conch fritters, Caribbean style chicken, and some drinks. The drinks were wonderful, and the chicken was perfect.
If you're looking for a great place to eat, this is definitely on the list.
Had a great lunch and a few beers here. Lots of seating over looks the water or board walk. Great people watching. Had live music.
We have been here 6 nights and 4 of the nights we have eaten here. Great food, great service! Wonderful atmosphere by the docks
The red rock shrimp taste like mini lobsters. MUST TRY!!
Normally sitting at the bar results in better service, but not so much here. You can count on having one drink and being ignored after that. Thankfully we ordered our food while we still had his attention. Food wasn't anything special, either. $58 for 4 stone crab claws and $15 for an average burger. I appreciate the live music and somewhat lively atmosphere, but not the lack of service and overpriced food. Tourist trap for sure, don't believe the reviews.
Food was pretty good, atmosphere is ok. Manager is a total mask virtue signaler. I reminded him that we were the ones coming out despite the media narrative to stay inside, and that he should thank us for saving his business.
Post-virus, be prepared to be nagged every 2 minutes to put your mask up in between courses. Total unlikeable jerk.
Went here twice while in key west. The first time we went for happy hour (buy one get one drinks) and apps, the calamari is great and the oyster appetizer was unique and yummy. Also went for dinner another night and the local snapper dish was great!! Staff are friendly and lots of outside seating, definitely a good spot to check out!
Great food & drinks! Loved the fresh fish & crab cakes. The restaurant is also located in such a fun spot on the boardwalk, overlooking the ocean. The staff seemed a little overwhelmed by the crowds, but we still really enjoyed it here.
Went on a booze cruise and needed to buy shirt as it was a tad chilly. The gift shop here was very cozy, one might even venture to say it was homey. I bought a blue, long sleeved shirt which kept me warm. After the cruise, we returned and went to the bar as we hadn't had enough to drink yet /s. Bartender was a kind bloke.
Fun atmosphere! Live music, great food and drink! Clean restrooms. Nice little gift shop in back. Huge aquarium. Historic building.
The staff is friendly and attentive! Even though they were very busy they were able to seat our party of four quickly. Everything looked great on the menu so it was hard for us to choose. All four of us ordered a different dish and each one was incredible. Blackened scallops were cooked perfectly, as was the fresh catch of the day and the bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp. The Conch chowder is not to be missed either, excellent flavor and tender conch. The food came out hot and fresh extremely quickly for how busy they were that night. Highly recommend!!
Everything seems to be fine, but there are some staff that needs to observe but still good customer service!!
Sweet spot to stop and eat had a gift shop as well ! Good is a bit pricey but very good .
The food was amazing, the staff was attentive and on point . Absolutely no complaints here will definitely be back again
Got our food to-go and was not disappointed!
The stuffed shrimp was really good, although I would suggest less breading and more crab in the stuffing.
The stuffed mushrooms were also phenomenal, but only three mushrooms come in that appetizer unfortunately. All the appetizers we got seemed to have small portions except for the cracked conch. The coconut shrimp was slightly overdone.
Other than that we were very happy with our meals!
great food, definitely friendly staff, and as hot as KeyWest was, they still worked hard to make my table of 12 people happy! Definitely be back and recommend!
The bacon wrapped shrimp is the best dish I've had in a long time! Snapper is great and so is the St. Kitts pasta. Location is perfect and service was good. Great birthday dinner!
The Catch of the Day with steamed vegetables was amazing. It came with some green sauce that I would love to get the recipe for. Hook me up to an IV with this stuff in it. The outdoor seating was perfect for the Key West experience. A little pricy, but everything is down here.
What a perfect place! Food is amazing, staff are super nice and caring and the place is very cool and have a good view. Prices are good comparing to the other places! Give it a try and you won t regret!
Love this place. Great spot on the water. Service is fast and crew is friendly. The stuffed shrimp is incredible. A little pricey but not any more than other places nearby.
Fantastic Pinks! Excellent service! Dog friendly. Gotta visit while in Key West!
This is always a staple place to go during any Key West trip. The views are great and the atmosphere definitely puts you in the island spirit. We ate here last week and sat outside. Service was ok, you could tell the server had just a few to many tables (had the whole outside seating area) and the service was a delayed/rushed. He was great and nice to talk with but you could see that he was rushing.
Food was ok, but in the past our food was much better. Not sure what the situation was this time around. We will definitely go back but hopefully the quality of our experience will be better.
Pricey but the food was excellent! For drinks, really liked the key west lemonade and passion fruit mojito. Painkiller not that great
Phenomenal place! Great food, great service, great staff!
Great place to eat $$$. Went for lunch. Our server Jerry was one of the best we ve had since our stay. Very attentive and knowledgeable. Very fast service from him!! Food was great! Best conch chowder so far!!! Lobster bisque was good too, fresh catch sandwich-Mahi-mahi- very good!!
They need better workers and not rude. But the foods here good.
Despite of Social Distancing, busy place and always fresh Sea Food
