Great food and great service. We had local catch, yellow tail and grouper with a pound of the keys pink shrimp. All was fantastic.
Great food and great service. We had local catch, yellow tail and grouper with a pound of the keys pink shrimp. All was fantastic.
Absolutely fantastic food.. waiter was amazing and went out of his way to inform us about the menu. Highly recommend this place. 7 layer chocolate cake was delicious
First of all: awesome food. Second: good service! We did not have to wait for a waiter or a hostess to pay attention, we were seated quickly and presented a menu. We did not wait a 15 min even and we started getting our orders. Beautifully served, simple yet tasty and fresh. The interior is not fancy but in a good way. Very comfortable. Prices are good too for a freshly served seafood! Must leave tips. Good view, nice music and friendly personnel. Totally recommended!
I ve had Conch Republic on my to try list for quite some time, and finally got around to trying them. I m kicking myself in the rear end for waiting so long.
I got the oysters callaloo and the bacon-wrapped, crab-stuffed shrimp. Both were fantastic! I ve never had callaloo before (actually had never even heard of it), and it was great. The shrimp were huge, and had a ton of stuffing in them. Definitely would recommend both.
And being directly on the marina is a great location, and the staff was friendly and very attentive. Would highly recommend giving them a try
The food is amazing ! All the servers were absolutely awesome! And i highly recommend!
Great place. Food was amazing. And well priced too.
Edit: 2 years later and it's still as good as the first time. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting key west. Great food and even better atmosphere.
Food and service was awesome. A definite place to try.
Great service! The food was well seasoned, the drinks well made. Overall, a pleasant experience. I will certainly eat there again during my future trips to the Keys.
The ambience was great, service was friendly, and the majority of the food was good. My friend had the grilled ribs which was scrumptious. I had the Mahi Mahi which was supposed to be blackened but wasn t even dark on the outside nor cooked on the inside. The sweet mash and veggies were delicious so I m assuming the fish was a one time mistake. Overall the experience was cool
First stop every single trip to the keys. Always consistent, great food, and atmosphere. Give it a try.
Delicious food-I have no words to describe the lobster and oysters.
Okay, like the rest of Key West, somewhat touristy. Great place to sit for lunch, with nice views of the harbor. Double bonus - the seafood is delicious and fresh. The service is decent considering it can get quite busy. We try to stop when were visiting. On our recommend list.
On of the best I've eaten at since being in key west. I recommend you go after happy hour is over if going for dinner its packed. That being said once we we're seated the server was wonderful. The food too was awesome I had the spiny lobster tail it was cooked to perfection and the conch appetizer was delicious. Ended the meal with a slice of key lime pie of course. It's a great place to eat I highly recommend it.
Great food, awesome service!! And oh! The live performing musicians were amazing!!
We loved the food and the restaurant so much that we ended up hanging out here all afternoon until time for our sunset cruise.
Great place to relax and enjoy a blackened Mahi Mahi for lunch. The view is breathtaking. Can't wait to enjoy it again.
Excellent seafood, craft beers, atmosphere and service.
Our favorite spot in Key West.
Not a single complaint. The location is perfect with a great view of the docks and ocean. The service was very quick not letting our drinks get half empty before a refill and the food came out fast, hot, fresh, and delicious.
The shrimp were giant and had a very flavorful seasoning. But the calamari appetizer is what actually won me over the most. Comes with a nice amount and every single bite was followed by me reaching for another one.
Really enjoyed my time here and the food was very enjoyable, too.
Service could be better, lobster was a little dry. Love the view and drink specials.
They need better workers and not rude. But the foods here good.
The fish dip is fantastic, a must try. If they have local shrimp, definitely get the pound they are delicious! The cracked conch is very tasty. Skip the coffee, to be fair this isn't a coffee shop.
The atmosphere is family friendly and great for COVID restrictions as there is a lot of outdoor space to sit and watch the boats.
Possibly the best seafood I have had in key west. Red snapper with chimichurri was very good. All of the sides were good as well. Lobster tails were also excellent. All of the prices were very reasonable and the service was great. I would highly recommend.
Hands down the best seafood we've eaten in the keys. Didn't get to try the desserts. Love this place! View of the marina is beautiful too. Great service.
The service was great, but the tuna tasted funny and made me sick. Crab cakes had almost as much shell in it as it had meat.
Service here was great. Our waiter, Mike, was exceptional. He was friendly and attentive. The food was good and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was great and family friendly. As the night progressed the bar area got a bit rowdy, but that is to be expected for the area. We will certainly visit again when we are back in the area.
Views and atmosphere kind of make up for the lack of quality in the food.. the peel shrimp preparation had old bay in bits clumped together on top with no cracked backs to allow flavor in them. So you're really left with either a clump of bay or scooping the plate in hopes of catching flavor. Really sad for the potential and traditional flavor you grow accustomed to living in the south. The mojito and close proximity to the water is the only reason I give it a 3. Not to mention completely forgetting to bring our fish sandwich, but by then you're already dissatisfied so we stuck to drinks and went elsewhere.
Amazingly I thought this was linked to a conch republic restaurant in Redington Beach, FL and eagerly went in. However, where Redington lacks the view, they put this place to shame on food.
Didn't really have what I was looking gor on the menu but very good customer service!
Ordered the Conch chowder and fish dip. Both were very good. Bloody Mary was very sub par. That s what I get for not ordering a specialty drink. Place is a bit pricy but you are in the keys. I would come again but not get a bloody.
Their COVID-19 coping strategy is terrible, which is sad because this was a regular stop in every Key West trip we've taken.
First, happy hour is ONLY outside. Well, outside seating is limited AND it's free for all: you seat yourself and no one knows who is first or last. What about the inside? Well, there's no happy hour AND you have to see a hostess to be seated. Yet, it's practically empty. So, wait AND find for yourself outside for happy hour, OR go see a hostess to find you a seat - in an empty dining room - and pay full price. With the city looking like ghost town, why wouldn't you want to make things simple and inviting? Made no sense to us and that's why we're yards down the block at Schooners with an amazing view of the docks from the upper deck, sipping on happy hour drinks!!
We stumbled across this place while exploring key west after the sunset celly. It was AMAZING. Lobster bisque is a must try and the peel and eat shrimp were incredible, perfect seasoning with lots of butter and old bay. Our waitress was super friendly, and the food came quick. Great ocean view and awesome live music.
The shrimp is delicious so tasty both coconut shrimp and fried shrimp platter were great .. not a long wait on the food .. definitely coming back
The overall area is nice, restaurants are priced reasonably considering it is heart of keywest. But food is just decent, not outstanding. Drinks could be expensive, even at happy hours. Mojito costed me $12 before tax and tip. As expensive as in a luxury hotel. :) Just order the cheap drinks and enjoy your time.
It was ok. The view is nice and the food come pretty quickly. But just lack of good flavor.
The most delicious seafood I ve ever tried, but... the happy hour wine was disgusting, I understand it s happy hour, but with high level delicious food - saving on happy hour wine - is not sufficient at all. Would be nice to have the effect impression of this place, but avoid happy hour :(
The prices are high, but the food is great. The snapper was incredible.
We went here the second week of October and loved it! My husband and I loved it so much we went back twice during our trip! The raw oysters so fantastic, the steamed shrimp are HUGE and super fresh. Lobster bisque is one of the best ones in Key West. The blackened scallops were delicious, cooked perfect. There is not a single bad thing I could say about this restaurant!
Happy hour is a must but it s only in the bar area! 2 for 1 is a fantastic deal!!
Beautiful at the docks. Loved the open air seating under the giant tiki hut. Amazing lunch. Would eat here again.
Awesome place! Delish food! Great service by Tom and John. Well done guys!
Really good food! The place was packed busy and our waiter was good not overly attentive but just right. I would definitely recommend.
The food had no flavor at all. The stuffed mushrooms were runny and tasteless, the coconut shrimp was an extra small portion of just an average fried piece of shrimp. The fresh catch sandwich was not seasoned at all and the bun it was tasted like an offbrand cheap bun. I would not recommend this place to anyone especially when there are so many other great places with tasteful delicious food. Tourist trap, don t do it. Our food was 50$ for those 3 things.
The service was great though all the servers who came to our table were prompt and kind.
Good food.. would do afain
Waiter was not so good
Was very short... just dropped off food and ran.
Forgot our second round of drinks.
Paid more attention to the group of 6.
All his 2 person tables no attention.
Too bad fir hom. I'm a good tipper....normally
Nice place, awesome atmosphere, great service, but the fish was just "ok" to my wife and I. We preffered Two Friends food by far.
We had a great experience. We didn t have to wait on a table, they brought drinks & food very quickly! It was almost over too soon! The food was outstanding! The drinks were very good as well. Will go back next time we re in town & recommend to anyone who enjoys seafood.
Very crowded food is very expensive and overrated u can get better seafoods at other local restaurants around the area
One of the best meals I had in Key West! Great seafood!!! Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly, delicious sauces, good beer list too! Highly recommend! They are big and busy because they are doing a great job!!! Right along the harbor walk as well!
The yellow tail snapper was to die for! Food and atmosphere are great! Highly recommend this place!
By far the best experience in Key West the food the service was excellent
A group of 10 got seated in 20 minutes during lunch. Got the catch of the day sandwich, so wonderful.
Amazing place. I ordered mango mojito and it was a lot of alcohol in there. And I love it. I made a joke about "it feels like it's no mango in my mojito and I did not expect anything extra. But our waiter Rusty in one second time brought me a mango and add to my cocktail. I did not complain but was impressed by the way of guys working here. The food is very delicious and out of any comments. I loved it. On the picture you can see All. Must visit place!
Was a wonderful experience, if you want to eat a delicious BQB ribs, you should try the full rack of ribs...
Really loked the place. I had catch of the day, swordfish. My wife had yellow snapper. Both excellent. Very friendly staff.
1 only because there is not an option for a 0. Service is slow, ordered calamari which was not bad. Ordered iced tea with lime and got lemon. Ordered 2 fish and chips baskets, 1 was hog fish and the other 1 was supposed to be grouper and it was chicken. When I told the waitress she went and got the manager who wanted to argue with me about if it was fish or chicken. Then took the basket and went to the kitchen and came back with the same basket and said nope it is grouper. She handed the basket back to me, I told her to take it, I was not paying $20. for a chicken basket. The cole slaw was disgusting as well as the potatoe salad. Won't be stopping here again. Here is a picture of the calamari that was a happy hour special for $5. So I can't complain about that. I have also included a menu shot as well as 1 out the window from our table.
Very nice, open atmosphere. Scallops were excellent. Cooked just right. Waterfront and walking distance to just about anything you want to see in the historic district. Great key lime pie
Experience could ve been better, hostess at the door tells me there s a 2 hour wait. For a table of six. We almost said thank you kindly (wish we had) we ll find some place else to dine. But was seated within 45 minutes. Waiter was nice and fast. Conch fritters were delicious, but the fried snapper and lobster tail lacked flavor. Drinks were tasteless also. We left with food in our belly but not at all satisfied with the food we ate. I hate that feeling ! Hope this helps in your dining experience Search on my friends
Excellent food, excellent service, excellent harbor atmosphere!! Get fish blackened, seasoning is spot on. All portion sizes are on the bigger side. Tyler was an excellent server and was attentive, polite, & was on the ball! Would recommend.
We tried: Conch chowder, Fresh Catch Sandwich, Seafood Dip, Spinach salad
REALLY GOOD FOOD! Franchise food, but REALLY REALLY GOOD. STUFFED SHRIMP, OH MY GOD!!!
Great Food. One of the best spots to dine in Key west!
Really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was just ok. I had a very weird experience, where we ordered frozen drinks and they were liquid, not frozen. But, the waitress continued to say they were frozen, even though it clearly wasn't. The menu had frozen, our bill said frozen. Smh. We still paid for everything plus a 20% tip.
The royal red s were amazing. SHRIMP but they tasted as good as lobster. Salads were great too.
Excellently fried conch on the water front, and... cold beer!!!
Always like Conch Republic. Fish dip is to die for. Would have given 5 stars, but others in our party had received their appetizer after the rest of the group received their entrees. Their appetizer was not very appetizing. It was not the servers fault.
Stopped in for some Conch Fritters and a drink as we were out wandering around KeyWest...nice spot and everything was very good.
Need to swing by next time for a full dinner!
visited Nov 2020
This place is right on the water, has great food, and very quick service. Although it looks a little commercialized, the food and drinks were wonderful. It's a little pricy (even for the area), but they had all the usual seafood favorites, plus some unique items.
The service was very quick and efficient, but still enjoyable. The bartenders are also pretty good. Would go again.
Great seafood. Relly tasty crab cakes and lobster bisque.
We had a wonderful server in Vanish. The shrimp were the best shrimp me or my wife ever eaten, and we absolutely love our entrees of grouper and spiny lobster tail.
Vanish was on point with his service. Always popping up at the right time to check our drinks and to see how we're doing.
We will definitely return when we come back to Key West.
This place used to be one of my faves. Food was mediocre at best. The location on the marina make it a popular spot but I wouldn't go out of my way. Better spots on the island.
this place is a great option when you are around the seaport. live music, good food, nice vibe, it all come together in this restaurant by the docs. i went there with my family, we ate mostly fish, and everyone loved it!
Awesome location n good food. Try lobster tail n pineapple upside down.
The location is perfect, overlooking the marina and makes a great place to watch the boats and people go by. The conch fritters were the best thing we ordered. For my main course, I got the shrimp stuffed with crab and wrapped in bacon but the shrimp was overcooked while someone else got the catch-of-the-day sandwich and said it was good. Strangely, we were told that we couldn t get the drink specials on our side of the restaurant which was a bizarre policy I still don t fully understand. Overall it is on the touristy side, the food is so-so and the prices are fairly expensive so I cannot recommend this place.
This place is ideal, as it was right there when we got off of our snorkel boat tour of 3 hrs. It was open air seating but shaded and lots of fans, just what we needed. The service was good, sat and orders taken promptly. In my party was 2 adults and 3 kids, we ordered: Mahi Mahi plate, Coriander Crusted Tuna plate, lobster plate, and then two kids cheeseburgers. We got fresh oysters (raw, on the half shell), fried conch and the coconut shrimp (it went too fast to be photographed!!!). I have to admit that everything was delicious, fresh and came out fairly quickly. The price was moderate, and appropriate for what we ordered. I recommend for anyone wanting a good meal after a long boat ride!
I had their catch of the day sandwich for dinner at the bar. It was busy but the service was good and the sandwich tasty.
Other things on my menu that day were Conch fritters for lunch and Kermit's Key Lime pie for desert.
Great food is everywhere in Key West and the Conch Republic Seafood Company was a good choice. Go with friends, have a few drinks and a great time.
The food was delicious, fresh, and fast. The service was awesome [thanks Lisa]! Beer was cold ...I had my first conch fritters..they were really good and the sauce is even better! My fish was so fresh I was afraid it may just swim off my plate! I was however jealous of my friends dish. She had crab stuffed ravioli with shrimp and OMG so freaking good!! The atmosphere is exactly where you want to be in Key West!!
Food was very good and view was extraordinary. Add cheese on the sandwich if offered.
I would give this place 10 starts if I could. Best food in the keys, I ordered the blacken snapper, the seasoning was just perfect the mashed potatoes were amazing with a side of vegetables that were cooked just at perfect temperature and not overcooked. My bud and ordered the lobster that was cool just to the perfect temperate, Scott our bartender took care of us, he makes the best mojitos in the keys. I will definitely recommend this place.
By far our favorite place in Key West. Excellent on every front. Food, bar, live music, people watching, best and highest score in my book. Fan-freaking- tastic
I am giving the Conch Republic Seafood Company a three star because it should have been better. The Mojito was ok, (Pepe's was better, along with a few others). I had the Filet my wife the peel and eat shrimp. It was all good, for $100+ dollars it should have been better. The situation with Covid-19 is understandable but less people sitting, less strain on the kitchen. I would assume what I got was what I would have gotten months ago on a normal evening. It was good...the shrimp were large and steamed well seasoned with Old Bay; they were good also.
Service wasnt too great. Food was pretty good. Not bad
Food was good! They even have a vegetarian pasta with sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, and Alfredo sauce. Do not eat here if allergic to shellfish. As a vegetarian, did not realize until I had to take Benadryl...
Husband said the burger is the best burger he has ever had! He was a fan!
The seating is covered but open air on 3 sides!
Delicious food in a beautiful, fun environment. The view of the marina is hard to beat. We tried several appetizers as our meal so we could sample more than one item. They did not disappoint.
Perfect for seafood lovers, I am a picky eater so not many options for me, but the views were great and staff was great. Our server was very friendly and helpful. You could see tarpon feedings outside too..that was neat!
Get the royal red! Great service. Great atmosphere.
The burger i got was good. Nothing crazy, but def not bad. Enjoyed a sex on the beach. Service was prompt and nice. I came closeish to closing time so, if i come back ill give a better, more insightful review.
Good selection of food margaritas were very good and service was excellent.
Excellent food and service despite the pandemic. Great ocean breezes and wonderful atmosphere.
Best HH around! We tried many places and I must say this place was the best in terms of selection, price and atmosphere. Sitting waterfront at the marina, it is very laid back and breezy. Guide boats load nearby so you can watch them come and go. As far as happy hour, once you order the first drink they give you a chip for your second, free drink. Note: HH is at the bar and patio only - thanks to the great staff for letting us know that! The smoked fish dip was our favorite, but the crab cakes and salmon were very close seconds.
This place was good but also a little touristy. We had the million dollar margaritas which were delicious. For dinner we started with calamari which was pretty good. My wife had the spinach salad with jerked shrimp, and I had the jumbo scallops. All the food was good. Waitress was as sweet as pie and always smiling.
The food was great! Aaron was our server and he was amazing! I recommend going here!
Took our day's catch aboard a charter to here. Food was above average. Decent service. Drinks were very sweet. But otherwise it was overall a good experience. Would go back.
Our dinner was very good. Our server was excellent. He got us in and out quickly (but not rushed). My husband had the catch of the day. He said it was excellent. I had crab cakes. They were very light & fresh. We will eat here again.
We had them cook the fish we caught. It was excellent. A must go to place when your in Key West.
Absolutely loved this place. Super busy but great atmosphere and staff. Food was also delicious
Greasy, overpriced and rushed. I suspect the oysters' lack of freshness is what gave me a terribly sour stomach. Might have been the heavy breading on the tasteless seafood...
They had a few more interesting beers, and the food was really good. Smaller portions (four people shared on two starters) than many other restaurants, and that I think is a good thing. Service good. Sat at the bar.
Get the lobster tail! It was 10 ounces of deliciousness!!!! The fried conch was also great. It was my first time having it and I was pleasantly surprised.
Great place with amazing seating. Oddly enough I am not a seafood fan but my group was. So instead I enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving dinner
Place had very good food and the sauces were amazing. It sits right on the water so you can see the sunset at night.
