Wife, brother and I stopped to eat here tonight (July 10, 2019 about 6pm) as I and my brother were looking for a place that served crab cakes.

You can either wait and be seated or sit at the bar or choose a table outside which doesn't have too bad of a wait. It's all open air regardless, but they have fans with mist everywhere so it was very comfortable.

Crab cakes were very good, though a little small - $16 for 2 small cakes in a garlic butter sauce.

My wife had the lobster ($35) and while pricey you get the lobster, 6 or so blackened shrimp, rice and green beans. Plenty of food for one, my wife couldn't finish it all so I helped!

Our server was a bald European gent, can't remember his name but he was very helpful and professional.

Great place to people watch, excellent location on the marina boardwalk.

Prices for the crab cakes was high, and though they were good a bit small for that price.

We ordered a fresh fish plate and pasta. I liked the pasta. The fish plate was supposed to be spicy according to the waiter. It was sweet instead. Overall an okayish place. The ambience is very noisy.

I had the best blackened grouper fish; it was in their daily special menu. It was fresh and yummy with rice and green beans. Conch fritter was disappointing. Cocktails were below average. Live music, location overlooking water and nice decor inside!

Had a most excellent dinner at the Conch last night. Their jumbo shrimp stuffed with crabmeat and wrapped in bacon was cooked to perfection. My wife had the vegitarian pasta which was also excellent. Despite being very busy our service was excellent as well. Thanks for making our evening meal so enjoyable.

After a long day of adventure at sea, their local seafood was a win for dinner! The casual environment allowed us to enjoy an early dinner after being on the ocean all day, which was super convenient. The scenery was quite beautiful too. More

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Seriously the best meal from start to finish that I ve ever had. My husband and I are visiting Key West on vacation and we were exploring downtown when it started to rain (hello, Florida). We sprinted into Conch Republic for cover and ended up staying for dinner. I m so glad we did. The service was great. We were served quickly, but not rushed. I drink water like a fish and my glass never fell below half. Our appetizers and entrees were indescribably good but the real show stopper was our dessert - strawberries tempura. Literally the best dessert I ve ever had in my life. Overall an amazing experience with a great view and atmosphere. We left feeling satisfied and not over-stuffed. We ll be telling everyone about this place!!

The mimosas are so good. We had the calimari, crab stuffed mushrooms which had such a yummy sauce and the salmon spread. The calimari was so good, cooked perfectly and the dipping sauce has a little kick but wow it is perfect. The mushrooms well we devoured those big, thick, juicy, flavorful so good. Everything was amazing.

The food was bland and overpriced for what it is. The vegetables tasted like it came from one of those frozen vegetable bags that you steam in the microwave for 5 minutes. The entrees needed more seasoning. The service however was good and efficient and the atmosphere is lively.

Came here during my annual fishing trip with my dad. We brought our catch in and they made it wonderful. I include the before and after. The fish was made three ways and it was delicious. Please leave sometime to get a table during the busy times. The wait is worth it.

Took the boss lady here for some local seafood on our vacation to Key West. Location on the water was great after a tough time parking since it was slammed for Labor Day weekend. Wait was quoted as one hour but we got a seat in under 20 mins. Server was attentive and super upbeat. Ambiance was great and it was awesome seeing all the boats coming in and going out of the harbor. The frozen drinks were delicious but small for $11 a piece. We ordered the blackened shrimp and the pan seared snapper. While the shrimp was excellent, those of you that eat a moderate portion will be left still hungry. Disappointing for a $27 meal that only consisted of six (6) shrimp and a couple small sides. My wife s pan seared snapper was awesome and I m not a huge fish buff. The smashed potatoes were the best I ve ever eaten. Two drinks, and two meals; we spent $92. Toss in the $8 for parking and it was $100 date which ended up with me eating somewhere else afterwards.

The food was really good, our waitress might have been having a bad day though she seemed inconvenienced, they were out of stone crab claws when we arrived at 2pm. We were referred to the restaurant by locals for that specific entree, if you are eating here for that purpose you might want to ask before being seated.

Had a 30 minute wait and hostess wasn't the friendliest. Thankfully our waiter made up where hostess lacked. Our waiter was very friendly and recommended what was good on the menu. Food was good and I guess reasonably priced for area. We can say we tried it but not impressed enough to return.

Came to the keys for a relaxing weekend. I wanted some good seafood and came across this place. I ordered the blackened mahi with the garlic chimichurri dish and it was amazing. Fresh fresh fresh! Service was 5 stars. Atmosphere is super chill. I ll be returning!

Great food and service. We had the perfect table for our group of 9. 3 adults and the rest between 13 and 16. The raw oysters were succulent, sweet and tasty. The hamburgers are delish as was the Dolphin fish.

This is officially what my wife and I categorize as our first date, five years ago. And we relive that memory every year. The live music is great. The food is delicious. Reasonably priced, and nice staff. Walking distance from Mallory square. We always sit at the bar and the service is always on point.

Amazing All Around!!!

Excellent service! Great food (oysters raw, oysters callilou)! And awesome drinks and food (wife had painkiller and I had awesome local beers!). We stumbled onto this from our hotel dropoff and it set the bar SUPER high!!

Definitely a good place to have lunch or supper. Well located (seaside not too far from Mallory Square), simple and cozy environment, good meals overall. Shrimps and fish sandwich stand above all. Slightly cheaper if compared to the surroundings.

We came down to celebrate our 20th anniversary, Conch Republic was recommended to us. While the wait time was quick and the view was stunning, That's about it. Our server was un attentive, un interested in assisting unless I had to flag her down after 20 minutes for a simple drink refill. The stuff scrimp was good, but that was it. Steak had no flavor. For how expensive you would think it was better. Think all the hype is simply the Location. Would have been better to go to a small family owned local restaurant. I expecting so much better for $120 for 2 people.

Best of the West!!! Key West eatery and bar located in the heart of Key West harbor. Great rustic atmosphere, great food, drink and ambiance. Served up with sun or moonlight with smile. After long day of exploring the island lifestyle drop by for a basket of conch fritters and a cold one....

Make a reservation! They are crazy busy. I had the Caribbean Spiced Mahi Mahi. Fish was fresh but lacking in flavor if you have it blackened. Also side sauce is too sweet. Considering the current political climate and how it has affected businesses, I d say this place is a favorite for many but may not be how you remembered. Good service once seated. Strongly recommend calling ahead.

This was quite the experience. We started off with a waitress nabbed Jeannie(sp) who was Not nice and totally in the weeds as she told us when she arrived at table. At one point we asked for Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce and she proceeded to tell us "No we don't have it...We are Not TGI Fridays sarcastically. We proceeded to ask for a menu and showed her they did have it. Hate telling servers their own menu. ALSO asked for salt and pepper for salad and 10 minutes later had to ask another server ( Ashley) and she had to us in a Minute.
Went to talk to the manager Kristen(who was amazing) she proceeded to take excellent care of us and give us another server previously mentioned Ashley. She gave a GREAT experience
Food was EXCELLENT
The pineapple upside-down cake is a must.

Large, open space that overlooks water. Can probably get really busy for dinner but we went about 3 PM on a Friday afternoon and were seated immediately. Food was hot and tasty. Casual, laid-back, no frills dining.

Busy place where its seems like everyone in KW ends up. I presume because of the airy atmosphere and huge bar. it is located with in front the docks also. Service is fast, drinks are cold and food is tasty. They have a large aquarium with tropical fish which my kids loved, we had the fish dip, which was okay (nothing special) and shared the St Kitts Pasta (crab stuffed ravioli with grilled shrimp is a creamy white sauce and spinach. Pasta was a bit salty but didn't stop me from eating all. Would defiantly return. Service is fast and professional.

Atmosphere was awesome! Giggles our server was great! Ordered the steamed clams for an appetizer. Good flavor but extra small for $18. I had the snapper as my entree not too bad. My boyfriend had the smokehouse burger he loved it. I would go here again.

My wife and I dropped by for a last quick meal prior to flying out of Key West for home. We told Dave, our waiter, we only had about 30 min. To eat before heading to the airport. Dave was awesome, an excellent server! We had the Conch Chowder, Coconut Shrimp, and a Florida Lobster with a couple Bloody Mary to wash it all down. It was an excellent choice, delicious and fast. Dave made it happen for us and made our last taste of Key West an awesome one

This is an iconic eatery, but a little overrated and over priced. It's awesome how you can see the fishing ng ships dock with their catch and it's open air. Service wasn't amazing, but not terrible. The carribean mahi mahi was delicious as well as the oysters, but the side dishes weren't served hot like the fish.

To busy and their out door dinning is first come first serve in which people are their forever and plus they do not have an area for those have pets. So sad this restaurant is Key West does not allow pets at their restaurant and their so many at on Duval Street that allow. We never got to eat their and had to go another restaurant.

For the past 2 days we were told there was a 45 minute to an hour wait for two people. A party of 4 right after us was seated. Then another party of 4 was immediately seated. If you are a party of 2 you either wait to eat at the bar( First come- first serve) or else they never call you.

If you don't mind waiting for a table, you don't mind the noise, and you don't mind a crowd, it's a great place for dinner at the marina. Good beer and wine selections. Fast and friendly service. We had salad, stone crab claws, and crab ravioli (which we shared). Everything was delicious. The music made it a little difficult to carry on a conversation, but the musician was good. The gift shop is overpriced, which wasn't a shock. You're not required to buy things in the gift shop, so that's not a deal breaker. We'll definitely go back.

We had the conch starter and fish of the day for the entree. The food was really good and we enjoyed the ambience. The only downside was the service, we had to always wait for service and ended up calling a different person everytime we wanted to get something since our actual waiter won't check on us nor make contact with us when she passed by. However, if you don't care about service then you will enjoy this place.

The food was delicious, but the service was terrible. It's a loud busy place, but if you are serving food, that's your only job. I had jumbo scallops that were cooked perfectly. The risottoed couscous was very good too. My beer wasn't cold and our server ignored us unless he was trying to upsell us on more food. Come here for the tasty grub and the lively atmosphere, but don't expect good service

This place kills it! Great food, atmosphere, service, etc. Right on the water, lots of hot women and sexy men. Huge bar to sit at as well. Just a short hike from Duval Street. Lots of little shops around too.

Always enjoy stopping at the Conch Republic when visiting Key West. Our waiter currently serves in our Armed Forces. Thank you for your service. Was friendly and accommodating. Food is slightly above average.

We heard the food was great here and highly recommended so we gave it a shot... and must say one of the best restaurants we have ever ate at!! Staff was super nice and friendly ( special thanks to Aaron) for the great service on such a special night for my girlfriend and I!! Tuna and filet were the best we have ever eaten and food came out very fast with a full restaurant!! Props to the kitchen staff for the great meal!!

Food is good but a bit pricey. Service is excellent. The last picture is the blacked scallops with couscous that was very good. The second is the scampi and tips which I also thought was very good. The first is the Snapper Wellington, which was also good but needed more sauce. The green beens need cooked more and were a little too crispy for me and I also thought the sweet mashed potatoes were missing something. They needed brown sugared pecans and more butter. Would have made a huge difference. Just my opinion.

This place is wonderful. Perfect place to have a nicer, more romantic meal. The staff were amazing and so friendly and helpful. Cocktails were top notch. Appetizers were fantastic and some were unique. We had six people in our group, and all of us said this was the best meal we had while visiting. Unfortunately, I was so hungry when I seen my food, I forgot to get a picture. I had blackened swordfish. UNBELIEVABLE. SO GOOD. We will definitely head here again when we return.

Crab ravioli with sun dried tomatoes was tasty but the shrimp it came with had a weird bleachy smell :/ I couldn t finish the shrimp because it just didn t taste fresh, which is unfortunate because I thought they would have great fresh seafood & for the steep price it didn t seem worth it in my opinion.

Absolutely amazing! Food was great, our server was great and helpful (I think her nickname was Giggles or something... she was very bubbly), not sure if I said food was great, it was packed durning happy hour but we still made it. This is a go to spot for anyone coming to Key West

Our favorite place to dine in Key West. Happy hour offers live music, a gentle tropic breeze off the Gulf, and wonderful cuisine to suit every palate. Not to forget to mention the two for one cocktails!!!! The one pound serving of the Royal Red Shrimp tasted like lobster. The staff was great. Sit back and enjoy the ambiance and feel like a Conch! The beer served from a trough full of crushed ice was so absolutely perfect with our dinner! Say hi to the good folks for us!

Not what I expected. The calamari was good the catch of the day which was swordfish had sweet sauce added on to it that I tasted more like a sweet and sour pork from a Chinese restaurant. The conch chowder was horrible. And on yeah the parking is expensive.

Stopped in here for a drink. Nice location right by the water, great bar, and drinks! It's a good place to people watch and bonus: I saw a manatee swim right under the bridge!
Giving four stars since I didn t try the food.

Never even got into the restaurant, I walked up to the hostess to ask for a menu. I asked the man behind the hostess and he told me no because I was in the exit walkway. The entrance was packed and couldn't even approach it. An older lady ahead of us was on the waiting list and asked to use the restroom and he said no. I have never seen such a horrible attitude in a hostess.

Food was so good and our waiter did a great job of helping us decide what to get. The mojitos on the other hand were crazy!! Tasted like straight Rum with no mint or lime flavor, they were just dropped in the glass. We had to send them back and get new drinks.
