I'm a grey haired space nerd! When I watched Walter Cronkite get emotional over that first giant leap for mankind in 1969 I was hooked on learning more about rockets and command modules abs more recently shuttles and commercial value. I visited the Houston space center last year and it was also interesting but Kennedy is more interesting. Be sure to take the bus tour

Totally biased review, this is my Graceland. But seeing the shuttle and the presentation that immediately preceeds it is one heck of an experience, they nailed it. Loved this place as a kid, and love this place as an adult.

Phenomenal opportunity to learn all about the American Space Program! We met an astronaut who had flown 4 missions on the Space Shuttle. He took pictures with all the people and signed autographs throughout the day! He explained how the Apollo Missions laid the ground work for the future of NASA!

What an absolutely mind boggling experience visiting here

The bus ride, the simulator and the Atlantis story were the most interesting attractions of the complex. They could offer more attractions with simulators and tell more about current projects.

We (couple and 2 boys - 8 & 5 yo) visited on the last day of 2020.
Arrived around 1030am and there was some people entering with us. Lines to buy tickets and entering were fast.
We didn't plan ahead our visit so chose the attractions randomly at first but since they have more or less options of times we planned to vmake the most of our visit (it's not a cheap one!)
I recommend the following schedule:
1) If you arrive at 10am (doors open): Rocket garden (self) and tour (15' guided)
2) Atlantis walking tour (20' video fabulous experience) and many space shuttle to picture and learn, galleries with all about the Atlantis, astronauts, devices, facts and replicas of the inside to seat and touch pretending you're an astronaut. Also a big slide for all ages to go down to main floor. And last but not the least: Ride the space shuttle experience! Every half hour from 11 to 4 pm you could experience the launching (we didn't do it since kids got scare and I don't like that vertical speed kind of experiences). They picture you like Universal Rollercoasters and you buy the pic at the end.
3) Asteroid hunters 3D movie (well worth 40 minutes). On your way out get into the new multiple-story indoor play for kids 2-12 were parents can seat and relax watching them play and learn about the solar system.
4) Journey to Mars (seat and enjoy about 30 minutes of facts about Mars which also kids appreciate).
Also visit on the west gallery of IMAX the self-guided exhibit NASA Now.
We decided it was enough seating and watching for our kids and skip: Mission Status Briefing (20 min. Movie) and Mission Control (40 min. Movie) both at Universe Theater. If you're a fan of each of the topics I recommend to go between the Atlantis Tour since these 3 attractions have the less showing times. I'll attach a pic of the flyer.
Across from Journey to Mars you have a huge Gift shop full of great space related stuff and outside the rear exit you could meet a real Spaceperson to take a pic with (5 time appearances).
5) On your way out: Nature & Technology self-guided)
6) You can start your visit here since it's at the entrance but we left it to the end cause it's an all day long attraction (10-4pm): Heroes & Legends Experience (2 short videos - 7 min. esch - about all times people - not only astronauts- that made history in the US) and a self guided tour of famous US Navy pilots and their equipment.
We had lunch at Orbit Cafe - self order and decent waiting time to got it ready to take to the table. Kids eat pizza (huge portion for them, decent for an adult) and we ordered burgers (big and delicious).
We loved this visit and definitely come back when around.

I love NASA. I love space. I didn't love the $80 Canadian for one admission. The most expensive museum I will ever go to. You even pay for parking on top of admission. Why so greedy? Impressive and fun stuff, but that price bothered me all day. There are lots of extras that cost more money too; general admission doesnt get you everything. I expect this from Disney, not NASA.

There was a lot to do and learn. Me and my son had a great time. Alot of the activitys are inside, so even on super hot days you'll still have fun. The bus ride was really cool we saw everything launch pans, old rockets, new rockets. The food was really good and fresh. I felt really good after eatting

A must see if you're in the neighborhood. Awesome Museum, pretty interesting and you can not only crawl through a space station, see the actual Atlantis Shuttle up close but also touch a little piece of the moon. That is pretty swell.

Horrible, no one there knows where anything is located. Security guards have radios to ask for any questions and they refuse to ask if they don't know where a location is so they go by what they think. Horrible horrible

Cool place for anyone interested in space travel. The visitor center mostly is like a space themed amusement park and is geared somewhat towards children.
The bus tour is more for grownups, and is the more interesting thing to do there, in my opinion.

A great place to gain some knowledge about something most people know little about... space! There are heaps of information, just about everywhere. Many things are on display, such as used rockets and engines. There's even a launch simulator! This is a great place to go for all ages. I enjoyed it greatly myself!

You must arrive early and it takes all day to see everything. There are many videos. Although it's summer, girls wear a light sweater, in the movie the A / C is very cold. When you enter, take the schedules and plan what you are going to do. The store closes at 6:30 p.m. and the park at 6 p.m., leave the shopping for the end and do not load the bags all day.

Attended the KSC in December 2018. What a GREAT EXPERIENCE...for a 57 year old married man (whose awesome wife came with him)... from CANADA. Imagine if one was a young child or teenager who had a keen interest in space. Very knowledgeable and personable staff. HAD A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! Stayed til the end of the day and wish I d have had more time. I d love to go back. Thanks to all the staff who made this a memorable experience for me. It brought back some very emotional memories from when I was a child and watched all the Apollo launches with my Dad on a black and white TV in the early morning hours. Wish I could go back in time....

We have spent here the whole day (from 9 to 5) and this was just general admission (the special tours has been shutdown). I would like to return to this place, it was really worth seeing.

An "out of this world" place to visit, comfortable, even in July, spot to take anyone. Look forward to having all age ranges in your family entertained as well as educated. Staffed by very friendly workers that do not get frustrated with huge crowds. Wished it was closer to my home, I would definitely recommend attending their special events.

Kennedy Space Center was a blast. I was awed by a rocket launch. The space center had so many cool exhibits. I got to see the Atlantis in person which was amazing. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

A wonderful place to learn about the history of space exploration and see how the future will look like. One of the best places to visit in Florida. Educating and entertaining!
A launch day is a special treat

No other place like this in the world. Where else can you go to see where humans first ventured to the moon, get so close to an actual space shuttle that made many trips to space, and see what the future of space travel is. The bus tour is a must do.

First I would like to start my review by saying we did come during the covid so maybe thats why everything wasn't as I expected. First it took us 45 minutes to just park our car, when we finally got to the window the girl said they only had one window open for a while. We had 4 different family cars waiting to go in so we were all frustrated. Also there was alot of things closed, we didn't get to see the 3d movie because they limited the amount of people in the theater and only offered limited showings. We enjoyed what we could see but definitely feel like it wasn't worth the price we paid.
