According to Google maps, the average visitor spends 2.5 hours here. I spent 8 hours together with my family! It was certainly worth the effort. Original and impressive pieces. A contemporary world wonder.

It's a great placement! Full of history! There is no reason why they cannot open the entire complex and allow people to stay longer. I was extremely disappointed with some of they staff. They seemed to be in a very bad mood. Employees should be excited to work there and have a passion to share with visitors!
Enjoyed going to the Kennedy Space Center. Visitor center has different activity displays set up. Most of the displays have a presentation. Bus tour was interesting. Learned that the Space Center has a bald eagle that nests there.
Good place to visit with family, kids will enjoy and kids aged 8 plus years will get better knowledge and understand space, rockets, planets, etc. the 3D shows are good . The complete visit will need full day to enjoy all exhibits. The food is ok and the restaurants have good range of food choices. If you plan to visit at least 2 times in a year, better to go for annual pass and you can get discount tickets online.
This is a family favorite! Our last visit was the best so far. We planned out the whole day as soon as they opened. We saw most of the shows, one IMAX movie, had lunch (check out the orbit cafe....I couldn't believe how good the burgers and fries were!) went on the bus tour, and had time to browse the gift shop up to an hour after the park officially closed. Our youngest daughter even had time to play in their shaded kids play area. (We love this addition.) We are a space friendly family, so this place rocks! We got to see former space shuttle pilot Fred Gregory speak. He was so knowledgeable and quite funny too! Ever since Space X and the other commercial aerospace companies took up shop here since the shuttle program ended, the space center has slowly but surely been regaining it's glory. We can't wait for the SLS to start going strong, the Webb telescope to start unmasking the universe, and all the other space missions and great science to come!
I love the space program, my dad worked at Rocketdyne on the Saturn 5 engines and the Space Shuttle engines, the space center seems to become an amusement park as opposed to the monument to our countries achievements in space. This was my third time there in the last 15 years and as much as I liked seeing the Saturn I was disappointed over all this trip.
I was disappointed. It cost 10 to park and then would have been an additional 60 each to go in. Since we stopped by unplanned we took a few pictures and left.
This is a great place for space affictionados. However, DO NOT HO THERE YET!!
Because of COVID-19, the operating hours are short, and half the attractions are closed. Do wait until the pandemic gets better, and you'll have great time there.
Absolutely amazing experience. Been here twice in the past 3 years and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. Would definitely recommend even if you only have a small interest in going!
We recently made a trip to the Kennedy space center and had a very enjoyable day. There is really so much to see. We took a simulation ride on the shuttle to.
It is incredible to experience this site known as the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Once there you will feel as minuscule as an ant when compared to the massive full size rockets on display all over the grounds. It has grown exponentially over the years into a mega complex encompassing all that is space. Come, see and experience what is truly known as the gateway to the stars.
Awesome attraction of history, museums, theatres, interactive centers and bus tour. Better than Epcot. Admission includes a bus tour to pass the VAB, where rockets are assembled. The tour bus continues to the Saturn 5 building. Spectacular shows with the exposure of the Atlantis Shuttle. Very enjoyable eateries available. Additional theatres to visit all for your one price admission. My recommendation is to go at opening, It's a full day of lasting memories! Fully accessible for handicap. Kudos to The Kennedy Space Center.
It was very busy today since it was supposed to be a launch day. The longest wait was to get into the parking lot. Plan 30-45 minutes just for parking. They take COVID seriously and require masks. They also limit the number of people in the theaters at one time. Lots of hand sanitizer all over. Amazing displays, knowledgeable staff and interesting movies. Some things were closed but still plenty to do. Also, the dog kennel is a nice complimentary service. Clean but small. Get there early of you want them to kennel your dog.
Fanatastic. I paid for the explorer tour. It was great, everything extra we got to see. Wanted to do the early tour but wasn't available on Wed. I could spend a whole nother day to see everything. Definetly coming back to do the whole thing.
The John F. Kennedy Space Center is the NASA spacecraft launch facility located at Cape Canaveral on Merritt Island in Florida. Very beautifull. A must for space lovers. You can see the assembly sites of the spacecraft missions on the moon. Money well spent.
Between a museum and an amusement park, very instructive, the grown-ups, fans of space love it, the details, the light stones all the history of exploration and the children also love the same things but in a very suitable way for them. Not to be missed.
Doesn t worth the price and trip during covid. Half of the things are closed. No bus tour for no good reason since it can be made no more crowed than the exhibition, theater or the gift shop. But they still charge you the same $59. Houston space center only charge$30, and parking is only $5. Here, price doubles while have less to see.
Very very worth seeing, even if you have nothing to do with space travel. Was pleasantly surprised that the guides managed to make the topic interesting for me.
Really good but could have had phamplet as a better guide for those who are not with tour groups. Did not know where to go on a timely basis. More replica's of space units for guest to get hands-on experience.
First time to KSC. Their Covid-19 precautions were top notch. Felt safe all day. The limited crowd size was a plus. Very interesting place, certainly kept us intrigued. We were there for about 4 hours and certainly didn't get all of the attractions done. We will be back! Certainly cool to see so many artifacts up close. Provides a perspective to things most have only seen on TV. The Atlantis is impressive, worth the trip just to see that space orbiter. However, not the only thing to see. Take the day, spend the money, you'll be glad you did.
Highly Recommended. You should have seen it. And with Bus Tour a day is pretty close. Bus tour at 14 o'clock helps, as one is exposed outside of Apollo Saturn and has to expect 3 hours minimum. But absolutely recommended.
Wonderful and informative. So many things to see and do! We unfortunately went on the Monday after Christmas thinking their would be no crowds! There was a 1.5 hour wait to get on the tour bus, with lines just as long to see all other events and displays. Next time I ll go on a non holiday time!
Had never been and did not know what to expect. Genuinely impressed with all there was to see and do. The 2 IMAX movies were great. Did find it to be expensive to enter and add on that the $10 to park. No one at ticket counter, so we could not use a discount coupon I had. The cost for 2 adults was $125 not counting parking and lunch. We enjoyed it but probably would never return. Just too pricey.
Very cool. Went when I was very young and it wasn't as interesting to me then. The bus tour takes you by the SpaceX building and the crawler which dwarfs any vehicle I've ever seen. The fabrication building was quite impressive as well. One of my absolute favorite things about this attraction is that most exhibits are inside an air-conditioned building. Didn't wait in a single line outside which was awesome. Really cool place. Would love to see a launch from here
Splendid experience. Bought the multi day passes for the family and they were great value for the experiences we had. Educational, fun, exciting and inspirational in equal measure. We were lucky enough to meet astronaut Jerry Ross and he was so accommodating and friendly. Easily spend two days here to see everything and give it appropriate attention. Clean, well managed and highly recommended.
Spent 5 hours there, and barely scratched the surface. A nerd like me could easily fill 2 days there. My only complaint is that their "15 minute" wait time estimate for the bus tour was actually 40 minutes.
We are here in this moment, and after eight hours of visiting we are going out, it is definitely a place that does not leave "space" We have been moved several times Easy access and very well studied Necessary if possible to be present at the opening Given the amount of things to see but especially at all hours there is an event All well explained and comfortable Naturally facilitated access to the disabled and baby services A place that I highly recommend We arrived with our own rental car Easy parking excellent directions
On our road trip, we spent about 4 hours but it would take at least a day to do all the activities. It's a must. A tip: remember to stand right side on the bus
