I read the other review and don't think it's fair that he gave it only 3 stars for being exactly what it is supposed to be, so let me tell you about my experience there.

I am a complete rookie- I hadn't bowled in 30 years but decided to join some friends for league play. To say my scores were awful is an understatement- my scores averaged 70 per game, but sometimes it was even worse! My friends suggested I stop using the house balls and get my own. After a couple of weeks of frustration (and a game where I bowled a humiliating 54) I showed up early to get a ball....

The gentleman who runs the shop was amazing- so helpful and professional. He asked me a few questions about my bowling, recommended me a beginner ball, THOROUGHLY measured my hand. He must have made 20 measurements! By the third frame of my game, he had my ball ready! Crazy. He had me roll it to him a couple of time to see that the ball fit and released correctly. Boy, did it ever!

In my first game I rolled a strike then a spare, another strike and spare combo. First ever! My score was 115. Now my average is going up each week, and my handicap is going down. Bowling is much more fun without the frustration I had been feeling.

They had everything I needed, did NOT try to upsell items I don;t need, and gave great service at a very reasonable price. When I get good enough to need a better ball, I will be back!

It's a small pro shop in the corner of the old Linwood bowling alley not a huge selection but really top notch equipment. More importantly Alan , the ownwer is old school which means the most important thing to him is his customers it was very apparent the way i was taken care of and what i saw when i was there, i got a sweet ball a great service ill never have to go anywhere else again, highly, highly recommend!!
