Katy Tile and Marble installed our new counter tops and kitchen appliances. The switched our range top from electric to natural gas and did extensive carpentry to extend and install corbels and wood paneling under our bar. We are very happy with the results. I can t say enough about Katy Marble & Tile! We had scheduled to remodel our master bath shower stall with them pre-pandemic and were concerned after returning from our vacation how the work was going to go during the pandemic. I have to say, they were on time, made sure our floors were protected, and got the work done as promised. We had a small misunderstanding about a portion of dry wall that was left unfinished from removal of the old shower but they went ahead and took care of it and even bought paint to match our walls! From the showroom to the plumber to the tiler and the coordinators that came by each day, all were very professional and made it a great experience. I love my new shower and am going to put a brighter light over it so I can really enjoy how beautiful it is!
We have worked with Katy Tile and Marble for years. Our current job was unfortunately to tear out and replace our beautiful hardwoods in two rooms due to moisture damage. During the entire process to find and fix the cause, up to finally replacing the floors, took months. Tom, Art and Linda were always available during the process. When we were finally ready to finish, they were able to find our original flooring and it was installed beautifully. Hugo did a great job and you would never know they had been replaced. The guys also moved our heaviest furniture and put it back. Katy Tile and Marble is the only company we use for flooring. I will always recommend them.

Katy Tile & Marble has completed 2 projects for us in recent months & we would definitely recommend them. In the master bath, they enlarged & tiled our shower beautifully, installed a new soaker tub with tile around it, as well as tiled the floor. They handled granite countertops & all plumbing, too. The scheduling worked as expected & was completed in a timely manner. Everyone was professional & very nice.

We used Katy Tile and Marble to replace our existing ceramic tile, wood and carpet floors with a wood-look porcelain tile. We also had our fireplace surround replaced. Walked in and no one greeted us. Finally an old man walks up and greeted us after 10 mins. This old man has a hearing problem or what because i have to repeat every single word i said when talked to him. I asked him if i would buy your tiles what are the labor cost he said $4+ per sq ft. I was like whoa that aot compare to other store plus they charge you all different fee. And i was tired of repeating everything i say and left. Was frustrated keep on repeating every single word. Dont if this guy is new or just dumb.

Removed the existing tub and shower. Install new shower and closet . Paint vanity and install new doors and drawers . Install new countertop and fixtures. They are very trustworthy and do great work. All the work was done while we re out of town. So we did not have to cope with the mess and the noise.

Please do not use them if you don't want to have headaches. The owner comes to your house and gives you a free quote and - you feel confident with them. Then they sent us a quote with a really good price, made us select the granite we want to use. We selected. And them they old us the quote was wrong - that it as mistake. And them they raised the price a little bit. We accepted it - we wanted to use them anyway - no worrying about how much they were going to raise the price. And them the guy that installs brought it with a different cut (the cheapest one possible). We said no. They blamed the poor guy for the mistake (but we know it was not his fault). The owner never shows up anymore. Then we have to deal with his son: he opens your house door without ringing the bell or saying hi/excuse me. Now my father in law that helped me to deal with them during the installation noticed a scratch from a cut that they made (the hole for the faucet). I called them, they told me to send an e-mail with a picture and then they answered they can not see any scratch from the picture. I just wish they were frank since the begging. I don't understand how a family company can deal with its clients like this for 12 years. Camila Brignac

We had our master bathroom re-done with a new shower, tile flooring & walls, and countertops. Tom & Linda were of great assistance in helping us design the project from the layout of the shower to selecting materials that went with the look we had in mind and would perform well while staying within our budget.
They are very busy, so be prepared to wait a few months once you finalize your design. But once they started, the workers were polite, efficient, and asked questions to make sure that they got the details just how we wanted them. The quality of the craftsmanship is excellent. We love our new shower.
So pleased with Katy, Tike &Marble. From start to finish the process was easy. We hired Katy Tile & Marble several months after Harvey to replace and upgrade all of our upstairs builder grade countertops to granite this totaled 5 countertops. They set the date for install the day i signed the contract, were on time and sent a plumber the same day to hook up one sink and the following day to finish all other plumbing needs this was extremely important to us since we were living on our second floor while construction was happening with another contractor downstairs. We were so unhappy with our contractor working on the downstairs we knew we needed someone different for upstairs and we couldn t be happier we chose Tom with Katy Tile & Matble. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

We had a highly satisfactory experience installing both tile and engineered wood flooring with Katy Tile and Marble. All of the company representatives I dealt with were friendly and professional. We had an unexpected challenge with a long transition over a small gap that was needed to preserve access to existing wiring that runs between a raised tile entry and the lower wood floor. They ordered a custom piece of molding to resolve the issue to my complete satisfaction. We were very pleased and grateful to receive excellent service in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey when there was such high demand for all types of skilled installers.

This is a difficult review to write as Tom and Art were great, helpful, understanding and bend over backwards to assist and get things right. They and the tiler were always on time, checked in beforehand and followed up, all in all they are good to deal with. The only downer was the backsplash tiler we were allocated. That's why I gave 3 starts. His work, in my mind, could have been better. A couple of tiles were slightly recessed due to the thinset thickeness. He started laying from one left side side but vertically the tiles were not in alignment. That should not be the case. Some of the grouting was poor. The finished product could have been better. He came back a second time to make good the recessed tiles and tidy up but we still have tiles that are not verticaly aligned. For many they will not notice but for me I know its there and its annoying.
My second major home projects with Katy Tile and Marble. Used their service in 2012, like it so much that I went back to Tom and Linda again when our home got flooded during Hurricane Harvey. They are dependable,
great service, good quality works and priced reasonably. Katy Tiles is my first choice for future renovation.

We looked at several flooring stores in the Katy area and Katy Tile & Marble has the best service. We found an excellent floor laminate for a competitive price, and their install price was about half of what some others quoted. They were wonderful to deal with, and their installation was superb, fitting tightly around difficult angles. I haven t seen a better installation in my 45 years in construction. Highly recommended.

When we first bought our house and did the remodeling in 2014, they came to us highly recommended by the homeowners in the Williamsburg Settlement. We were not yet living in our house, and they handled everything we asked while we were still in Fort Worth. Beautiful results for new carpet and tile on the floors.
Then came Hurricane Harvey. Once again, we depended on Katy Tile & Marble to help us get the interior ready for us. Flood recovery brought its own set of problems in our Canyon Gate community, and Katy Tile & Marble handled each obstacle with professionalism. This time, we had to have our bathrooms redone, too.
Katy Tile & Marble uses its own work crew, not temporary laborers, for any direct work or subcontracting. You may shop around and see different prices for the actual materials, but you won't find better installers than those at Katy Tile & Marble.
