Great experience. Me and a friend used the facilities during a 3 hour stopover from our Toronto to Edmonton train ride through Via Rail. We were provided a day pass, got towels, did some quick workouts (gym had all the usual equipment and more), showered off all the grease that accumulated during out long ride and refreshed in the steam room before heading back to board the rest of our ride. Overall, service and facilities were great.
Worst Y in the city. The few times I've made an exception to take my son there the front desk staff like to act like they're on a power trip. Nice way to behave in a so called family friendly environment.

Very friendly staff and the family enjoys coming here. Have gone to other Y's but have found they are not as friendly and clean as the Y on west portage. We drive across the city to go there cause its worth it.
Love this ymca. Been going to this one since for thr past 15 yrs. I love that the steam rm is inside the changing rooms.
