Had to get some place cards printed. Initially I went to Staples, where I was told, if I format the template, insert the info, score and cut, they can print some names on card stock for me. So I got to do 90% of the work, no thanks. Came to Katari, within 5 mins I walked out, being told they'll format, print, cut and score for me. Sabrina was very helpful in walking me through the process, reassured me it'd be easy and painless. She was 100% right, and I'm very happy with the result. Will be going back there over staples any day!

The staff is very polite and friendly. However, there are hidden costs to printing that are arbitrary not not upfront on the website. For example, you pay 2$ for sending an electronic file that takes "time to download" (i.e., a 2-page pdf) and another 1$ every time you send an additional file. Therefore, you will find yourself paying 6.29$ for 5 pages of black and white printing that would have cost max 1-1.5$ elsewhere.
I don't always leave reviews, but I had to make an exception! I was going to be in the area in the afternoon and desperately needed to print a few documents. I found Katari online and gave them a call. The owner answered right away and told me they provided the service that I needed! Score! It's located in the heart of Elgin st but still easy to find.
I was greeted as soon as I entered the door. Due to the current state of things, they provided hand sanitizer and took proper precautions within the establishment. They have a self-serve station which I used but the owner was still around to offer his help and expertise. I was in and out in no time! A true lifesaver!

This is my go-to print shop in Ottawa. Like some of the other reviews here, there's three main reasons for it: 1) Customer service is great - very accommodating. Every order I do is normally at least a few hundred of this, a few hundred of that, and every time, I'm in a rush. No additional fees for the rush, they work with me on my timeline and help me get what I need, when I need it. 2) As one reviewer has pointed out, everyone there is very casual, laid back, and exceptionally easy to work with. They still run their shop professionally, but very pleasantly. They really are a pleasure to work with. 3) I've found the pricing there extremely competitive - in most cases, it'll be your cheapest option.
As someone who's done a lot of printing a lot of places, I can be picky, and the ONLY thing I'm not thrilled with is their cutting. I find the edges are sometimes a little rough, and admittedly, I am bothered by that. This minor detail though can't make me look past the positives of working with them.
I no longer live in Ottawa, but even while three hours away, I'll occasionally order my printing from here if I can have it picked up by a friend en route to a conference.
This is one of the best printing shops I have used. Always exceptional service and reasonable prices. Phil and his staff are always friendly and eager to help when I offer interesting challenges and they always go above and beyond, not to mention that the print quality is always brilliant. My husband and I wanted to get beautiful wedding invitations from a local shop. Katari Imaging did a outstanding job! Gilda was professional and a pleasure to work with. Sabrina s design for the save-the-date cards, invitations, reply cards and place cards was exceptional. We were very happy with the results and more than pleased with the pricing and service.
