Lovely showroom, great staff - very knowledgeable and helpful. Really relaxed . You can't buy direct from the showroom so there is no pushy sales staff like some outlets.

This is a benchmark for retail environment customer experience, I would highly recommend a visit if you are considering Karndean flooring.

The full range of flooring options are on display, all staff were friendly & very helpful, but above all laid back and not pushy, which created a calm and relaxed environment to allow you to ponder and mull over the ranges in peace.

Once a shortlist was decided, the ability to create and mock up examples on the design tables really is the best part of the process. Special thanks to Louise for her time and patience.

Left with full size samples of planks and feature strips which give a true reflection of colour and shade, much better than a 15x15cm sample square!

On a DIY basis we have enjoyed changing the layout of our kitchen, utility room and Breakfast room. Almost finished but need inspiration for the floor.
A fitter who did a job for us a few years ago came to measure up and recommended that we visit the Karndean showroom. We did and it was well worthwhile. Things can be seen in a different light and the staff are helpful and knowledgeable . The only problem is that we now have to decide between two designs! Thankyou Karndean.

Absolutely brilliant service and extremely helpful. We are glad we made the 1.5 hour trip. Having had Karndean flooring covering all our downstairs for the last 15 years, there was no question as to what we would replace it with as it's now time for a change. Visiting the showroom gave us lots of ideas and different options. We are however now more confused than ever due to the amount of choice that is on offer! The layout of the store is very well set out and the friendly staff made it a very good experience. Karndean all the way!

We would like to thank Alex for his patience and expert advice in showing us all the colours available. We fortunately knew a rough design we wanted which made it easier for Alex to know what to show us. The planks then were laid out so were were able to see what it would look like. I was so impressed with the the amount of free samples we were able to take away as well as useful literature. As they are only a show room there is no hard sell so it was nice and relaxing. Flooring now on order with my flooring contractor and cant wait for it to be installed.

Visited showroom on Saturday.... great range of samples and helpful staff.

Visited the showroom on the advice of our flooring consultant. From the moment we walked into reception, we were impressed with the level of customer service shown. The receptionist was very welcoming and gave us guidance on the layout of the first floor with booklets to help. We went to the first floor to view samples. Again the staff member was very helpful. Tea/coffee was available. After having chosen designs, we saw a design consultant who offered advice about colours and provided us with samples to take away to see what suited the room. Fabulous.

We were considering having a Karndean floor fitted and visited the showroom to try and narrow down our choice and it proved to be a very worthwhile experience. From the moment we entered the building the staff could not do enough to help us to narrow down that choice. The showroom is so well designed with all the samples and many of the designs laid out on the flooring of the showroom. Greg, the designer allocated to us spent time going through the samples, laying them out and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend a visit.

Received help and ideas from Alex in choosing different designs for our orangery floor. Although we did not find a floor design we are 100% sure about we have got some ideas to work with.

Excellent service and great space to see all the ranges

This was definitely worth a visit, we couldn't get over how professional the set up was and helpful the staff were. We were given an easy to follow plan of the show room and each range was laid out in different areas with all samples on show. After we chose our samples we then met with a lady from the design team. It was all very impressive.

Really impressed with the set up at Karndean - my only complaint is the number of options!!! Veronika gave us time to go backwards and forwards and select quite a few options. Then whittling the options down to just a few favourites, which we took home. Look forward to getting a supplier arranged now!

Called over to get some advice and ideas. We were blown away by the excellent service we received. Even allowed to bring the dog in. Thoroughly recommend a visit to the showroom. They also gave us free samples of interest to try at home.

This was an exceptional way to choose a floor for our kitchen - everything is laid out to make the experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. There are plenty of staff to help and we were guided through a process where we could look at the full range upstairs and the our search was narrowed down in the design studio.....to be able to take samples home to lay on the floor makes the whole process very easy.

From the instant we arrived in the car park to the time we left the showroom, the entire experience was first-class; a lesson to all aspiring businesses on how to do things.
The staff were welcoming, well-informed and extremely helpful, with the amount of advice given (when asked), to the freedom and flexibility to browse and choose according to taste. All done in a user-friendly warm environment; - a shame we can't give 6 stars!

We travelled from Birmingham to the showroom and I'm really glad we made the effort, we were very impressed with the knowledge and expertise both in terms of what would suit our house and how best to lay the flooring to give the best impact to the rooms, they were really helpful in design and style options, we took room measurements and pictures with us to help them and us which was worth it, they recommended we narrow it down to 2 or 3 and then we were sent away with some free of charge to see how they looked in our home which we were not expecting but was great. Highly recommended

Wonderful visit and what an excellent showroom! We can't recommend enough...

Very disappointed!!! We purchased flooring for our new kitchen and family living area. When the installers started to lay it their was massive differences in wooden grain effect and colour, which looked terrible in a large room. Karndean were not interested in our problem, and would not accept that the product was faulty. Prior to purchase we visited the showroom to check the product range and variation and took samples home to try, but none showed the level of variation that came in the retail packs supplied. I would not recommend the product or customer service to anyone.

This product fades - in less than a year.
Do not place near a window or bright room. Website doesnt say you need to shut curtains on sunny days, and move furniture and soft furnishing about to avoid this. Durable yes, but in a dark room!

Fantastic experience, brilliantly set up and staff were amazing. We were served by a lady called (Jo I think, she had a Welsh accent). Honestly couldn't have asked for better service, she listened to our needs whilst being so understanding towards our demanding child situ too.

December 27th. We trekked all the way from the other side of Oxford and arrived at 3.56pm only to find out that they closed at 4pm!!! Veronica leapt to help us and stayed late, never once feeling that we were being an imposition she talked us through our options giving us design tips that will prove invaluable in choosing the right floor for our purpose. Seriously if you are management in Karndean Flooring you have a staff member who went above and beyond her call of duty. I must also say thank you to the door man who was incredibly patient. We are so pleased we went to the showroom. Brilliant presentation of all the options available and extremely helpful staff. It was the most impressive customer service we have ever experienced. Well worth even a long journey when you are planning an upgrade at home.

A superb friendly experience with help from very experienced designers. The options of flooring I was interested in were displayed in large area floor displays and generous samples taken away are now in location in the proposed setting at home to view them in varying light conditions. Couldn't be better service.

Excellent customer experience shopping with Karndean today. Everyone was really friendly, informative and attentive without feeling "pressed" in a sales environment. My only constructive feedback is that we were intending to be able to buy the product today and take away with us for fitting by our own tradesman who had specifically recommended your product, so slightly disappointed that we were unable to buy direct from yourselves and have been referred to your suppliers to source what we wanted to buy. It just holds up the process for customers to get what we need for home improvements within a certain timeframe. That's said, we did have an enjoyable experience looking around choosing what we wanted and have placed an order with a local supplier.

My wife and I visited the showroom on the 5th November. We travelled from Birmingham in the hope of being inspired. It was an amazing experience. The support we received in choosing the flooring was outstanding and Lewis our flooring consultant was very patient and knowledgeable. We will definitely return again and would recommend to anyone trying to make a flooring decision.

We had a very good and positive visit to the showroom.

Everything I needed to be able to make a quick emergency decision was handled professionally and efficiently by the Karndean Designflooring Showroom. I got caught in the 2nd COVID lockdown needing a flooring decision to happen but with all retail closed: Alex at Karndean came to my rescue. We had a Zoom appointment where he looked at my ideas (photos of my home and decorating ideas) and then he gave me clear direction on which flooring would work best for me . . . and even sent FULL SIZE samples to my house at no cost. I wish all trades would work this way (which only seems fair when a customer is getting ready to spend thousands of pounds on their products). Karndean Showroom is first rate for customer service, and their products are outstanding. They are fully deserving of their reputation as the finest of flooring manufactuers in the country.

Visiting the store and getting samples is a great experience. The product also looks fantastic. But certainly style over function. Expensive Art Select range already scratched after 3 months. I treat it no differently to the inexpensive roll of vinyl flooring that was in the same room for 10 years and looked as good as new when took out. Avoid if this is a floor you actually want to walk on everyday rather than show off to friends :-(

I drove up the M% to visit the Karndean showroom on Sunday and so glad I did. They were extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. After browsing the ranges I was interested in, I realised that what I had originally come in to look at wasn't going to work and I found a better alternative from the Karndean range through the equally excellent service provided by Winnens in Cheltenham who also have been amazing.

Karndean Show room very impressive, plenty of designs to choose from. Staff are informative and helpful, they all know their stuff. Coming away with ideas and a sample really useful - we did know what we were looking for. Taking a cushion or a door from furniture to match up I suggest to anyone. The show room is well lit so you can get a real good idea of colours and matching within your own home. Very happy so far, and would recommend ..

Way more than I expected when visiting a showroom. Great way of dealing with customers, innovative way of showing you around - other businesses could take learnings from Karndean's way of doing things!

It's definitely worth visiting the showroom if you are considering Karndean flooring. There's easy parking, a huge array of flooring on display and the staff couldn't be more helpful. You also receive 2 full size 'boards' for each design you are interested in which is very useful for when you get home.

my experience on Saturday was excellent we were greeted very quickly and shown were everything was up stairs and down stairs. The shop was very busy when we arrived so we went back later. We were shown examples by a very ;ovely helpful young lady who showed us designs for our requirements who explained sizes and various colours, I am delighted with my purchase and would definitely call again.

Not sure what I was expecting but our visit was fantastic. We loved the layout of the showroom and how we were given freedom to choose products we might like before seeing close up and experimenting with laying patters. Social distancing and cleanliness were of the highest standard.

First time to visit the Showroom, so much to choose from. The team are really helpful and polite. We will be back.

Really professional and helpful experience visiting the showroom to meet with Alex. He was knowledgeable and helped narrow down options to a flooring that will work for our space (5 stars at this point). Sadly this is where things went awry. Alex assured us the style and amount of floor we wanted would be delivered to us through a local supplier within 5 days - which was a key factor in us choosing Karndean as it fitted with an accelerated timeline for the renovation work we were having done.
We placed the order and again were told 5 days by the shop. I received a call back from the shop to inform us that the Karndean online ordering system was incorrect and instead of being 5 days it would be 2 weeks.
I only require 6m2 of flooring so rang the showroom / factory to see if there was anyway to get the flooring within the 5 days i was originally told - the lady I spoke to was not only unhelpful but rude and as i wasn't a wholesaler, would not entertain a conversation about any way of helping.
2 weeks have passed and on ringing the supplier I have been informed that I have to wait a further week.
In the meantime I have a 3/4 finished bathroom without a floor (and can't fit the sink or radiator) and will need to re-engage the Plumbers to come back and finish the job.
If Karndean had been honest at the beginning about their supply issues, we would not have purchased.
Whilst the flooring might be high quality and look lovely, if you are considering buying and need it within a month i would seriously consider looking elsewhere.

Update
As a result of the above feedback Customer Care contacted me to: explain the delays & apologise profusely for the customer experience I had when contacting the factory. I still maintain that Karndean need to be more transparent regarding their increased lead in times for supply but Kim was beyond helpful in trying to make amends for the situation. She assured me the delivery would be with us by the revised date and then pushed for a quicker timescale, meaning we eventually got the flooring 3 working days ahead of schedule. She maintained contact throughout to ensure i was happy with the outcome and for that reason alone i am more than happy to amend my review and rating. A shame about the first experience but more than made up for with this second contact

What a wonderful place! Lovely staff.
I was given help and advice in choosing appropriate floor tiles for my particular needs. Then a member of the design team put out a larger area of my chosen samples so I could visualise them on my floor.
Finally I was given these sample tiles to take home in order to make my final choice. All these were handed over in a cloth bag. And all this amazing service is free.

Friendly, helpful, informative, but until helped by an assistant had difficulty to know the procedure to follow to get service.

Very professional showroom, with all their designs ready to view and select free samples. No pushy sales techniques just genuine Consultant's wanting to show you the products and suggest combinations and explain the different systems. Would finally recommend them.

The Showroom is a very pleasant place to be. The staff were well trained and delivered useful information in a friendly, relaxed manner. We did not feel pressurised to make decisions, but were gently helped along the way. The samples we took away were very large, and helpful.

Great showroom, but customer service didn't explain the "system" properly.
On arrival I was asked for my details (email, postal address etc) and all was very professional. I knew that meant they would be following up and looking into who my local retailer was - great. Was told that I should start upstairs and there were samples there for me, and I would be shown around.
Whilst upstairs I wasn't approached by anyone, but worked out how the different ranges were displayed, and could see the samples on display. So far, so good.
However, when I came to leave - with my four samples - I was told at the reception that I couldn't take those samples and that I had to have a "consultation" where I would then be given some full size samples to take away with me. Brilliant, but as I needed to leave to be at another appointment that was a problem. I then had to wait for ten minutes to see someone and get my samples. The full size samples and consultation are a great idea but as that part of the process wasn't explained to me I felt that I missed out on its full benefit as I had to rush off.
I left with some great samples, but also annoyed that if I had just been explained the process at the beginning then I'd have had a much better experience rather than leaving on a negative note....

Great place to go and look at flooring staff were all very good and helpful

The Karndean Showroom is both innovative and overwhelming. There is so much to chose from but the staff are fantastic and will guide you through your choices. My only regret is that I couldn't take my house to the showroom to see what works for me. That is not any fault of Karndean, it just means that a visit to the showroom completely redesigned my house. I had an idea of what I wanted but have come away with something completely different but am a happy man.

Louise was very helpful and friendly, pointing out similar designs which I hadn't seen previously and also pointing out the new Looselay product and showing the benefits of it.

We were impressed with the showroom and Louise was very helpful in guiding us towards choice of samples.

The Kardean Receptionist gave my partner and I a warm welcome as we entered their very nice showroom. She explained the best way to benefit from our visit and gave us the relevant "map" of their products. We then went up stairs and were met by Jay(?) who was very helpful in identifying our preferences and advising us on the product. We also were invited to help ourselves to a cup of tea/coffee and a muffin (very nice!).
Finally, we returned to the ground floor where another young lady talked to us about Suppliers and gave us samples of the parquet flooring in which we were interested.
Overall, this was a most pleasant and informative experience.

This visit was a very good experience, we found all the staff friendly and informative from the receptionist through to our design consultant. We had an idea of what flooring we wanted but being able to see the boards laid as flooring and as samples gave us a better idea of the style and colours we preferred.

Having chosen two colours of boards we liked but not sure which would be our preferred choice we were given samples of both to take away allowing us to see them in their final setting.

I would highly recommend a visit to the showroom.

A superb experience! Organised, smooth-running and enjoyable. There is a system in place at the showroom in Evesham providing excellent service at every stage. Pauline said good afternoon as we walked in even though she had clients at her desk, the chap upstairs explained the system (sorry forgot his name) and Greg was very helpful at the decision-making/sales end. A pleasurable shopping experience now I just have to convince my farmer husband not to wear his wellies on my new pale-coloured kitchen floor!!

Somewhat overwhelming - there is so much to choose from! However, Joanne was so helpful and knowledgeable, that we came away with a fairly good idea of what would suit us best.

Jo was super. No pressure, just an 'IF you choose Karndean I want to ensure you choose the correct range and colour for the room's location, use and planned or existing palette'.

What a fantastic showroom, plenty of help and time to choose which flooring we needed, including larger areas of flooring, daylight lighting and fantastic staff. The beauty of visiting here is that there is no sales pressure, this is what it says - its a showroom. We made our choice, then was given a sample (a large size sample), which we felt time and time again was the one we wanted, to take home. When it was put down in our rooms it most certainly was not the right one, we made another appointment and visited again and ended up choosing a much lighter one therefore not making a huge mistake financially and aesthetically. Loved my visits there and cannot recommend them highly enough.

I was very impressed with the service here. The staff left me alone to browse, and then asked me if I needed any help. I was assisted by a very polite young man, who showed me several options once he has ascertained what I was looking for. I've taken the samples home and am very close to making my decision on the flooring. Thank you - it was a great experience!
