I gave birth to my child with a caesarian section in Aarau. The operation went well and I am satisfied with it. What I found extremely bad, was that my midwife had herpes and still came (although with mouthguard) work. Can not find that. Hope this will not be tolleriert in the future by the hospital management. I will personally contact the hospital. Have only afterwards learned that this can be life threatening for babies and find it highly irresponsible.

Aja, and what I also can not understand is that the breastfeeding consultation on the weekend has free? As if on the weekend no babies were born who need their important help to breastfeed while breastfeeding. My breastfeeding advisor was also very active and urgently needed to attend a communication course (non-violent communication).

Never again !!!!!!!! The staff jokes about the patients! I went in case of emergency yesterday because of a concealment. The doctor arrived quickly and very helpful. However, the nurses joked sideways over me! They thought I would not notice that! Had to stay 2 days. However, I was constantly provoked by the nurse in the 8th floor to go home! Never again !!!!!!

Unfortunately a very long waiting time of over 3 hours. Only 1 doctor who was totally stressed out because so many people were waiting. Waiting area very uncomfortable. Emergency eye clinic in the middle of a bed ward.
The MA there were very nice and made the best of the situation.

Worst emergency ever sorry!

Worst emergency ever sorry!

Were yesterday because of a work accident in case of emergency in ksa in the morning, the treated emergency doctor was the worst I had ever experienced rumgeschreit ... Work denied (my work colleague should have been sewn) made inappropriate comments, etc. I've never experienced something like that and this just because the work college has a syringeophobia ... He even bullied him because of that. We were always calm and polite but the doctor read his whole (we do not know from where) to us .... The very last would have happened to me I would have taken legal action only because he practically us "rausgeschnissen" without to treat my buddy (he was still bleeding and injured) we are then in case of emergency at the train station aarau and had also described everything they were very nice .. polite and competent and he could be sewn troz phobia and supplied. As it should be when an accident happens during work and you go with a colleague in the emergency he srark bleeding and must be treated .... But the ksa I will avoid in the future such an inhumane is never again the doctor you should free immediately

I was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Sarlos and Dr. Ledermann and the surgical team had surgery in the abdomen for hours and lay there for a good 3 weeks. I was looked after very well by doctors and nurses and felt very comfortable and in good hands. I would like to thank everyone again for this. I highly recommend House 8.

we arrived at 22:15 in the emergency. Reception very competent and polite. Although we had to wait for other urgent cases - but were always informed competently about the state of affairs. In the end we got a lot of medical attention at 0.15.

A very good hospital, the day and the night is there for us. Thank you very much!

At the reception I was positively surprised. Also glad that in the morning before 6 h only 1 patient was waiting in front of me. Another patient was sent back and forth - it was then a second x-ray image to be made with him, since the first Rb was not clear. With me, the similar process was, greeting-after a minute away-then finding that an x-ray has to be taken. It was insisted. But I would have to wait 1-2 hours waiting time, as just shift transfer would have to be made. In the waiting time it was also interesting to watch the cleaning of the waiting area. After the dirt on the floor was smeared wet, the dusting of the ceiling ventilation came on. That about the waiting patient - only good if you do not really have something life threatening. It shows me how much the health system is sick - and that in Switzerland - I went without treatment after almost 3 hours and stabbed myself the nail bed itself, so that the blood could drain. That's the goal of politics

Waiting times in an emergency of at least 6 hours.
Depending on the shift, very unfriendly staff. Not interested in seeing the needs of those waiting. You have to beg for painkillers. Too bad, it had been better and friendlier a year ago.

UPDATE Feb. 2020:

UPDATE Feb. 2020:

No matter what is in the lower, original text: In my eyes, the KSA received one star more than I gave at the beginning! But why ?! Well, on February 7th I had to as an emergency to the KSA. On a Friday afternoon - over 20 patients were already there. So I prepared for a very long stay, despite the referral from the family doctor. And unfriendly staff. But that was not the case! Both the team in the emergency room and the team in the required specialty (urology) were not just nice but also took a little time - and the waiting time was not that bad - I have experienced worse! I can say that KSA is trying and the direction it is taking seems to be right. Hence one more star ...

You can't actually rate hospitals fairly! And as a rule, there are always things in these huge "health forges" that do not run so smoothly.

The KSA, as the Aarau Cantonal Hospital is colloquially called, is not bad in itself. The nursing staff is super nice (at least 99% - there are black sheep always and everywhere), the physiotherapy based there is really exemplary and never gave me any reason to complain. The food is acceptable for a hospital - you just notice that it is a hospital and not a private clinic.

But what is really NOT possible are the sometimes extremely arrogant doctors! So far, I have had particularly poor experiences with the assistant doctors in orthopedic surgery. If you have to wait an hour for the gentlemen at a debriefing, everything is fine, but woe you come to a checkup 5 minutes late because the train has got stuck again; then Holland is in need! So there are specializations, the KSA as well as the staff (yes, even the doctors) are highly recommended. But orthopedic surgery is really a mess. It was about 12 years ago, then about 7 years ago, so I've been avoiding this department, but you don't hear much good either.

Personal experience also shows that the emergency room is totally overloaded. These are long waiting times for uncomfortable loungers, unfortunately, often on the day (or rather night) order.

In conclusion, I can and must say: Institutions like the KSA are important, but there are, despite some good points, extreme potential for improvements. Throw out all the arrogant doctors and get those who still have "fun" in their profession and are interested in their patients!

I had surgery on May 20th.
What I experienced in the hospital, it touched me a lot. Nursing staff works under enormous stress and yet brings the highest performance. Doctors are very nice, competent and helpful. Every doctor who talked to me has shown so much understanding, patience and helpfulness. Just unbelievable. And they save so much life every day !!! Respect.
Big THANK YOU to Mrs. Doctor Cramer.
With her loving nature she has quickly taken away my fear of surgery. I am very grateful that I have landed in good hands.
These benefits, friendliness, understanding and help are priceless.
THANK YOU AGAIN.

Was completely satisfied here, the nursing staff was very nice and polite. The doctors are also very competent and polite. In 2020, letting other people speak is no longer a matter of course, there were no problems here. Food was great too.

Our eight-year-old son had pneumonia and had to stay in the hospital for a week, complimenting the doctors and caregivers, with six liters of oxygen per minute he was close to being transferred to the intensive care unit. The medical treatment and monitoring was competently chosen correctly. Would my child at any time again in their responsibility.

- Wichiger tip: If you have a fear of death / life-threatening event -> call ambulance, even if it takes longer and costs - afterwards you are happy about it and are treated faster

- One of the caretakers in the 7th floor (M.K.) very, very, very accommodating (respect!) - More staff mostly friendly with small exceptions - people stop.

- Doctors generally friendly and helpful

- Had to wait about 50h on my emergency surgery and fasting almost nonstop (goes into the money), as more serious emergencies came in - uncomfortable - could be optimized with more operating rooms / doctors - but also understandable because I'm not necessarily dying was.

- Food quite tasty (but note what you ordered to correct possibly wrong delivered - you pay for it) - a little more sauce to the main courses would not be bad (after all, for pasta ..?)

- Suggestion: Some basic rules should be introduced for the dorm rooms - eg. Sleep from 22/23 o'clock incl. Headphones Duty - common sense and consideration you can not expect from everyone (especially difficult with certain older Swiss, as I had to learn repeatedly)

- In case of doubt, if you insist on staying 1-2 days longer to completely recover - you may be forced to "walk" due to low profitability when lying down and recovering. Question such decisions and listen to their inner feelings.

- The lady who takes health insurance details on the PC in an emergency (back room) is a terrible, unfriendly and soulless person. After all, you do not have to endure it for long.

CONCLUSION: I am cured, was okay with ups and downs. Hospital stays are not a holiday!

Was in the emergency department of the senior physician said I do not want to shake hands with him although that was not true or was not clear. He also said it was so common in my cultural circle. He asked me where I came from and if I would not want to work although I was on vacation. In addition, he did not even want to investigate me properly X-ray, etc. because that would only cause unnecessary costs and he does not want to expose me to X-rays. What is that I'm pregnant or so I'm a man in the end, he was simply condescending and xenophobic dissatisfied no star never worth again! My jaw and my knee are still hurting tomorrow, I drive to a real hospital.

I had to bring my husband on Friday evening in an emergency because he had swallowed something and was stuck in his throat. The waiting time was shortly after the first examinations and was told that he had to stay overnight and that he would have an operation in the morning after which he could go home. So I went home because we have a little daughter. My husband wrote to me at 8:40 p.m. that the operation would be done that night because they had time. Well, when I hadn't heard anything from him at 9:00 in the morning and was slowly getting scared, I called the ward. There an apprentice daughter answered the call. She told me that the procedure had not yet been done and that he was awake in his room. I asked her why I didn't hear anything from him then, I'm very worried about him. Your answer I don't know, I'll tell him.
Later it turned out that the operation was in the evening at 11 p.m. and they took the valuables from my husband and didn't bring them anymore. The apprentice's daughter was asked several times to fetch the things (also from the sister responsible) but didn't do it. She still had the nerve to tell my husband that I called and he should ask a relative to get his things. He has already been released but had to wait 1 hour for his things. I'm still extremely angry, it is not possible that someone does not get their things for so long and not told me on the phone
is that he has no Hany and is buffeted the operation was not. If you have no idea you shouldn't answer the phone.
Also, my husband said she was very arrogant. After my call she noticed that I was afraid only said yes, I'll get the things someday.
It cannot be that a patient cannot inform his relatives for so long and who you are calling or receiving wrong information.

Too bad you can not assign 0 stars. Dreadful! Terrible and terrible again. Responsible doctors do not respond to complaints absolutely and you always hear new "excuses". Hospital for me not recommendable, unless you have no choice!
The fact that adult doctors need to communicate in this way is more than questionable!
