The Kaaba (Arabic: al-ka bah IPA: [al k...

The Kaaba (Arabic: al-ka bah IPA: [al ka ba], "The Cube"), also referred as al-Ka bah al-Musharrafah (Arabic: , the Holy Ka'bah), is a building at the center of Islam's most important mosque, Al-Masjid Al- ar m (Arabic: , The Sacred Mosque), in the Hejazi city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is the most sacred site in Islam. It is considered by Muslims to be the Bayt All h (Arabic: , "House of God"), and has a similar role to the Tabernacle and Holy of Holies in Judaism. Its location determines the qiblah (Arabic: , direction of prayer). Wherever they are in the world, Muslims are expected to face the Kaaba when performing Salah (Arabic: , Islamic prayer).

If one doesn't belong from islam, can't visit this place. We all should respect the feelings and reverence of all the people and their religions.. but keeping people at doors and not allowing them to meet the god is something that doesn't seem logical. God is for all.

DOV: Hajj time 2017 Kaaba is at the centre of 'Masjidul Haram' which is considered to be the most sacred masjid by muslims and prayers here are considered to be 100000 times more rewarding than any other masjid in the world other than masjidul nabawi and akhsa. Its the first masjid built for offering prayers to single God by prophet Abraham and Ismael (PBUT). This was saved by Allah from the armies containing elephant, when prophet Mohammed (SAS) was in mother's womb, by sending Ababil birds. The kaeba which is the proud iqbla of muslims is a joy to watch and unparallel with any other thing in the world. The history of safa and marwa lies here where Hajara (PBUH) ran in search of water for baby Ismael. Holy zam zam well and plenty of its water is available for the believers to drink. The activities performed here are

1. Thawaf: which includes 7 circles around kaeba starting and ending at hajarul aswad followed by 2 rakaet namaz behind makam Ibrahim & drinking zam zam. Thawaf can be performed any time as sunnath thawaf, as part of umra, as part of hajj as thawaful ifala and thawaful Vida. Please try to follow spiral path while entering into mathaf 4 thawaf, and try exiting step by step when u start 7th round itself so that u do not cause any harm to ur brothers and sisters. Please do not push your brothers for touching hajarul aswad, be remember to prayer to only one and only Allah and keep the wording of khaleefa Omar on hajarul aswad.

2.Sahye: Its 7 times walk between safa and marwa, starting from safa and ending at marwa. Do remember the sacrifices of Hajara (PBUH). This can be either performed as part of hajj or part of umra. There are special prayers when u start at safa or marwa.

3. All mandatory namaz - 5 times a day, rawathib sunnath, mayyith namaz, khiyamul lail etc..Do remember the rewards which is 100000 times than any other mosque in the world and do maximum.

4. Do visit Historical places nearby knowing importance of each..

Mecca (Arabic: / ) [2] is an ancient city in the western part of Saudi Arabia. Mecca, formerly known as Bakka, was under the rule of the Hijaz before it became part of Saudi Arabia. Spread over an area of 26 sq. Km, the population in 2012 estimated at 2,000,000 people. During the peak times of pilgrimage to Hajj and Ramadan, the city will have more pilgrims than the population. The Red Sea is about 80 km from Mecca, surrounded by hills. Mecca is located 277 meters above sea level. Medina, another holy city of Muslims, is about 430 kilometers from Mecca. The word mecca in lowercase in English is used to refer to the center of any particular subject. Mecca is an important place of pilgrimage to the Hajj and Umrah, the place where the Qur'an was revealed, the area where the Samsam is located, and the birthplace of Prophet Muhammad.
