My wife and I planned on staying here for a few nights and were hoping for a very nice, adult atmosphere to relax, with nice dining, and pools on site. At first, the place felt very similar to the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas. The room was a standard room and had nice amenities, but nothing extraordinary. The bed was not comfortable and the fitted sheets did not stay on. Unfortunately, our room also had a very musty smell, like they had had some water damage recently. The pool was not for us, as we do not enjoy sharing a small pool with a hundred other people and their kids. There was no quiet pool to enjoy. The Cibolo Moon looked nice and had a buffet. Unfortunately, most of the foods were cold (not on purpose) and not high quality. We tried both the dinner and breakfast. The staff was nice and helpful. Since this place did not offer the atmosphere we were seeking, we cut our stay short and went elsewhere. In summary, not enough bang for your buck, pools would be great for kids, not adults, and eating offsite would be recommended. Two stars.
