Amazing place
This is my place from home, come here every year and have never had a bad time, all the staff here are so friendly they are the best, hotel and vacation club is perfect , cannot fault it, anyone who comes would not be disappointed, I love it here. If you go outside ( might need a car Orange Car Phuket ) they are some fab local restaurants as I do think eating in the hotel is expensive but food is excellent. Definitely worth a visit.

Good place for family with young children. Lots of activities in the kids club for little ones. Friendly staffs, many restaurants to choose in the property.

Place is nice and chill. Family oriented. Service at pools is slow, drinks are weak. Bar tenders get attitude if you modify an order and don't understand English at a functional level. All of the hospitality staff in restaurants are overly helpful and take care of the customers well with better supervision. Get the breakfast option, totally worth it. Rooms are nice, well appointed. Location is quite isolated and about an hour drive from other tourist cities with no local options to explore. If you are looking for full resort get away this is good for family with some room to improve.

Was there for 3 days for my cousin's wedding and absolutely loved it! Beautiful location, very kind staff! Will come back again!

Very nice hotel. Great service, clean, and comfortable. One star is lost as the rooms all had a somewhat musty smell to them when you first walked in (this was common for many members of our group). Also, you should be aware that this resort is far from everything in Phuket. The beach is not the best on Phuket, so be prepared to travel for some time if you want to explore. Food cost were higher, as it is isolated, but there are several good Thai beach restaurants just north and south of the resort.

This is absolutely lovely property with great amenities and even better staff. I have been here on more than a few occasions and they continue to uphold the high standards. The rooms are great, common areas very well maintained, very good food options, good spa. Access to the beach is perfect. Multiple pools to cater to different segments. The place is generally running full but does not feel crowded at all.

Staffs were very friendly .I was so impress about it the most.

My kids throughly enjoy their stays at this hotel. Very clean beach and good hotel services. Plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Beautiful hotel, spa, pool areas, beach! Many restaurants to choose from including a deli/ store. Beautiful landscaping... just had an astounds spa and it was heavenly.

A great resort for relaxing and having fun. Great rooms and service. Nice beaches, pools, restaurants and nature.

A lovely place to stay. So private, quiet and luxurious. Our villa was lovely. Food was pricey but yummy. Breakfast was delicious and the variety amazing. A bit out of the way in Mai Khao but this makes it quiet. Main pool area lovely. The beach was a bit rough to swim in but looked beautiful and clean.

Situated towards one of the Northernmost beachs of Phuket, it is just a hop step and a jump away from mainland Phang NGA.

A very large and spread out property, which ensures you get your daily quote of exercise. Electric buggies are available to get around if needed, but would strongly recommend that you take the stroll so that the full impact of the beautiful property can be absorbed.

Very popular with "destination wedding" crowd, so beware and check before you book otherwise you could be subject to a full "Barat" and the associated cacophony.

Due to its isolated location, getting to anywhere else in Phuket proves to be an expensive proposition.

There is a local "Mart" with limited food and shopping choices.

Adjoining properties are also large and sprawling.

If you want a peaceful luxurious break, this is the place to be.

there are an abnormal amount of lizards here. some were quite cute and colorful, others were slightly terrifying. please never ever ever get rid of the lizards. fantastic time!!

Amazing resort. Staff goes over and above to make you feel special. All food outlets are great... Portions are extremely generous, so it is easy to order more food than needed. The rooms are not new and furnished in the most modern way, but it really suits the overall ambiance of the resort. The small touched like the lounging area inside the room looking into the ocean do make a difference.

This resort is pretty great, big and dedicated to rest.
If you plan is be close to Patong and all those things, this is not the place for you. It is a little far from those things but worthy.
Taxi/shuttle bus is offered at really affordable prices and hours fit very good.

Expansive resort with 3 major pool areas, several restaurants, a bar and a lounge. Adult only pool a definite plus. Rooms are not brand new but more than adequate and landscaping is excellent. You can easily spend 3 or 4 days here without feeling any need to leave the resort. The beach is clean and easily 5km long.
Ginja Thai restaurant was great and right by the beach, Cucina Italian a bit disappointing. Both on the pricey side as you'd expect in a resort.

Gave 5 stars, because of the staff as the people working were warm and friendly. Otherwise a 4. No trash bins anywhere. Lobby should have some better cooling. Place was maintained and very well kept.

Great resort with a variety of food choices but not cheap. There are plenty of alternative places to eat nearby if you stay here though.

Pleasant but dated hotel. Staff are friendly and courteous. There are several pools spanning across the property. Food is good at the restaurants or you can opt for neighbour hotels or Turtle Village. They provide buggy service to bring guests nearby. Location is pretty isolated and far away from town and Patong.

What an incredible and amazing place to stay! I wish I could have stayed here for a month instead of a few days. If I'm ever lucky enough to visit Thailand again I hope to extend my stay at the Marriott. Great beaches and very close. Great food and restaurants but expensive. Walk down the street to the little market and save some money! Many pools including adults only which is very relaxing and comfortable. The staff and the Thai people are all top notch! 10's all around.

We stayed at the resort as part of our exchanged program. The apartment is spacious and clean. The master bed has a beautiful ensuite. We can watch Sunset from the balcony. There are lots of activites during our stay. It is a family friendly resort.
Restaurant food is good and there is market shop on site.
The room service staff always surprise us with their towel folding skills. One day I requested a croc and a croc was lying on our bed. it was awesome..
The other staff are friendly ans professional.

If you want to eat out, there is a shopping village at walking distance.
Overall we are very happy and recommend this resort.

Hotel room was very nice with great views. Services were great. but the food and restaurants for dinner were definitely not worth as much. Really disappointed on dinning restaurants. But the bars and morning buffets were more than fantastic though.

Expensive but experience of a lifetime. You can get lost in the resort itself without the need to venture outside, esp. convenient if you have a baby. The resort is sprawling green and magnificent. The kids centre is huge. The activities are awesome - yoga every morning , movie nights on the beach, etc etc. The beach in front of the resort is beautiful and pure, the sunsets breathtaking, esp when viewed from the tall tree swings outside the resort. Truly a magical few days. M club has DJs with a great saxo player. 7/5.

A nice huge hotel. During 5 nights staying there, i was not lost anymore only at the 3rd day, from ballroom to my room. Has its private beach with some restaurants around. At early evening there's a fire show at the big pond near lobby. Hotel staff are nice and helpful, service include providing halal section food. One thing i don't like in this hotel is the beetle by the beach, they're many and once they attached to your clothes, it's so difficult to let them go.

Absolutely beautiful resort with absolutely amazing service with even more absolutely amazing people to help you enjoy your stay. Keep in mind that this location is rather far from downtown. Just over an hour's drive to get to Patong Beach. however two very different atmosphere. It all depends on what you're looking for. If you want the hustle and bustle of a small City then go to the beach downtown if you want a relaxing resort type of that sphere check out this hotel. Make sure you learn early and soon about the shuttle bus that runs to the small Mall just down the block. there are some good places to eat there as well as some great places to shop to bring things back to your room. We were unable to use the beach as it was riddled with jellyfish. realizing that not the hotel's fault but it is one negative component of the location that I'm sure was just due to the time we were there.

Perfect place for families. They have everything that you don't want to leave. They have kids daycare with activities, good swimming pools, fitness activities, beach access, several restaurants. Excellent customer service

Luxury beach resort near Phuket Airport. We like the cooking class with the idea concept of supporting locals. It was good experience visiting black crab community and sourcing ingredients from fresh local market.

Very nice 5 stars Resort in a quite area. Service at the front desk, restaurants and pool is amazing. The rooms are quite big with all the amenities you would need. There are 3 swimming pools. The only point that should be in favor of JW Mariott Khao Lak is the way the seats are arranged at the pool; people are glued but it is here a personal opinion. Apart from that the quality of service is much better here at Phuket than Khao Lak.

An amazing beach resort, very family friendly and relaxing. It is shown to have many environmentally friendly aspects (no straws, local fish). The beach is not crowded and it is possible to walk along the coast (recommended). Hotel rooms are designed traditional Thai-style and are quite comfortable. Also, it is very convenient that they are not too far away from the main areas. Pool is large and often not too busy. Definitely recommend you to go here to relax with family and friends. Will be very memorable.

Have been here several times.
The villas are very spacious and consistent. The grounds are so lovely and lush and very sympathetic to the thai styling.
The pools are all really nice. We especially like the adult only pool.

Fantastic villa, comfortable n well appointed. Well maintained. Not cluttered even with that many rooms n villas.

This place is a dream! It is huge and my villa was amazing! The room was a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment, with the kitchen and we even had a washer and dryer! It has a back entrance to go to your private pool and beach. Service is amazing, they are so helpful and courteous. The butterfly cocktail in the main bar is divine! The cafe on the ground floor from the lobby has delicious smoothies and good sandwiches. I wish they had thai restaurant on the premises. Keep in mind this resort is further from the main city. But trust me, you'll never want to leave!

Dated but we'll kept and managed as I've been coming for 20 years. Faciliaties are great with daycare free water sports and the enduring Nash. Close to airport 20 min not like the kata resorts 45 to 1hour transit.

Wow! This has been a wonderful stay. We are planning our return trip. The hospitality has been top notch, the food first class, and I can just go on. You won't be disappointed if you come here for some down time.

Oh where can I start one of the best resorts. Beautiful location delicious food and the breakfast was amazing with lots of options and even special plates and cutlery for children impressive in every way. The staff was very helpful and welcoming I felt like home and I cancelled my last 3 days in one of the hotels in Patong to go back and enjoy.

It's very big hotel indeed. It could take you up to over 10 minutes to walk from one wing to the other. The weirdest thing is that the pool opens at 9am and closes at 7pm, which is not quite friendly to many guests.

Great place to be. Had my BIrthday there. Received cake, which was really good. Very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurants were good, but you can dine around. Don t get into the trap of investing in other resorts by buying your own place. What s good about it that you get free trip to Phi Phi :), but this has nothing to do with Marriott. At the hotel nobody bothers you. Beautiful place.

Incredible. One of the nicest hotels I ve been in. Bathrooms are big and nice and the beds are huge, though just a little hard. Our TV never really worked but that s not why I was in Thailand so it wasn t a problem.

We spent 8 nights here, on a family vacation.
The hotel is big and full of attractions for children and adults, plus multiple dining options.
Staff were mostly very warm and nice.
On the down side, this hotel requires some renovation in parts, and the beach was almost non existent until noon due to the high tide.
Button line, good value for money, and a good option for a family vacation.

Is a quiet beach with lots amenities. Rooms are huge for family of four. Service is top notch. ISA very good resort for family with children as it's have kids club for children age 4 and above.

We had stayed from 23-25 July for 2 nights. The overall experienced that my family had received was beyond what i had expected, especially Mr. Aun and Mr. Jay who had taken good care of me

I stayed at a neighboring hotel, Anantura. Both hotels are near the beach and it's a dream! If you want to go into town the only way to do it is with Mr. Joe and his wife Ana. These two take accommodations to the next level! They took us all around Patong to the local shops, restaurants, excursion booking, Big Buddha, the beach. And he stayed with us the whole day! They made wonderful recommendations and we got nothing but excellent service everywhere we went. Having a personalized taxi experience gives such a sense of comfort/ peace of mind when you're in a foreign country! My girls and I have vowed to return next year! Mr. Joe +66 93 825 6595!

Nice hotel with 5 star service. Great pools. 7/11 around the corner. Rooms are dated with plasma TVs (Yes, they don't make those anymore).

It's customer service is incredible and the grounds are immaculate. It's right on the beach but beware of dangerous rip tides and undercurrents.

Although a 5 star hotel I found the price of the restraunts reasonable and the food of high quality.

Great resort, staff very friendly. Family friendly. We have a boy 1.5 year and it's being great.

Close to airport, just 20 minutes drive. Staff is polite and friendly. Several pools separated adults only and kids pool. Just one thing, location is not convenient. If you can enjoy just in the hotel, it's no problem.

Very nice place. Delicious huge breakfast buffet, although not very inspired choice of food. Pool system was luxurious and well dimensioned for such a huge hotel. Very friendly for kids and good entertainment and kids school etc. The beach was nice but not very safe for kids. It had a pretty steep fall and large waves with a serious undercurrent, which was very fun but not to be taken lighthly.
Friendly clean and high standard. Slow service at times but all in all a great stay.

Very nice resort in a secluded location in the northern part of Phuket (if you want to be where everything is happening maybe don t stay here). This was my 5th time in Phuket and decided to check this resort out after the SPG/Marriott More

JW Marriott.... everything is ok except the location is too far away from basically everything else. Of u don't mind there's no direct beach access and like 1 hour from the actions of Phuket this may be the hotel for u.

Excellent hotel. Facilities, restaurants and staff very helpful and friendly. A special thanks to Jay who did a superb job of ensuring our party of 11 were looked after at every level. Highly recommended.

Nice resort. Bit pricey for daily consumables with small captive shops charging higher than local shop prices. Overall a good stay if you want a more peaceful time and can request to stay away from noisier guests with children.

Serene Sanctuary by the Andaman

This property is so huge it is more of a mini-national park rather than a resort. There is so much greenery all around you, no matter which part of the resort you are in. You get so pampered in this place by the staff and the service it would be almost difficult for you to depart!

LOCATION: Excellent location right next to the Andaman Sea on the Mai Khao beach.

DINE + DRINK:The hotel has 6 different Restaurants/Bars on site, you dont have to step out to treat yourself to local or international cuisine. The highlight is the M Beach club that is spectacularly located on the beachfront. Perfect place fo ra surreal Sundowner!

ROOM: We stayed in 375, which was an excellent SUITE Room, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Mind Blowing views of the Ocean from the Enormous Balcony. It is so hard to get out of the Balcony which is so massive you can even hold your own private sunset party here!; SIZE: Very Huge suite with a nice sitting area and a separate sleeping area AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM:The Bathroom area was so huge it was bigger than most rooms in phuket town! Lovely Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: Excellent Spa Quality Cosmetics by AROMATHERAPY brand

FACILITIES:The Gym is an absolute highlight of the property. A Huge HEALTH CLUB that could rival any urban city Gyms! WIth a full range of Free weights, Machines and Cardio Equipment. Top notch! And they have multiple pools , each of them outdoing the other. The Big Pool close to the pool is a must try!

SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all my needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout out to NIKKI at the front desk for making our arrival experience and stay even more special!

Rooms are spacicous with big bathrooms. Breakfast has great choice of breads continental and asian flavors.

I thought the staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds are pretty and I enjoyed how much property the hotel has. I thought our room smelled like mildew and it wasn't very updated or nice. Prices at the resort are expensive.

We enjoyed JJ's for food, took the free shuttle bus to the other Marriott, walked through a parking lot, between some industrial-looking buildings, and at the end is JJ's.

Visited newly opened photography gallery at marriot resort specialising in individual, family and wedding photo shoots. Talented photographer, quality work.

Very dated room, and the front desk was incompetent. I asked them to provide a proper VAT receipt for the company expense and as I had to leave early morning, the receipt was specifically requested to be ready at my planned check out time. When I checked out the next morning, nobody is aware of this specific request, so the receipt had to be mailed. However, once the receipt arrived, they got some details wrong so our staff had to ask them to send a correct one.

Stayed a week there with kids. Loved the big spacious rooms while kids loved the slide in the swimming pool. The room we stayed in was a 5 minute walk to turtle village. We regularly went to JJ's for lunch, which had great Thai food for half the price at the hotels.

What a beautiful area its situated right on the beach with plenty of paddle boarding, kayaks, and take a boat out if you choose. If you dont want to do that choose from the many pools to hang out at including a bar pool. The rooms are great and staff the are so helpful and accommodating aaa+++

This is amazing resort with a great facilities. A great place for kids , ( there is a play room for the kids). Beautiful swimming pool. People are friendly and the location is great for family away from all the noises. Free bicycles are available for the guest.

Stayed at Marriott's Phuket Beach Club (the Vacation Club part of the Resort) for a week. It's Simply the Best.

One of the best 5* hotel in Phuket. Service is second to none with great service mind from staff. We love it here. Very relaxing and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Great service but they do not use bottled water for rooms. The drinking water used by the hotels in rooms and restaurants continuously gave me food poisoning unfortunately. Pools were great, there was even an adult only pool. Restaurants were extremely pricey.

Excellent service! Although the lay out in the room is a little out dated, it s still one of the greatest hotel that I ll bring my children back. The staff was very friendly and helpful with my kids. The spa was also relaxing. The breakfast was delicious.

Awesome service. Nice refugee on Phuket. Liked the personal touches. Good food and out for activities. Could use a better landscapes and more environmentally friendly access to the beach. Beach erosion is a serious problem. Would look and function better

It was OK, I was here for a night. Paid extra for the ocean view room, instead got pool view. Didn't bother contacting them for the fix, it was difficult finding anything since the place is so big. Not many staff around to ask questions. Received a spa treatment, the massage was fantastic, everything else was mediocre and over priced.

We came on the. 6-10 th of Feb 2020. Hubble + I enjoyed the sea breeze ,relaxing atmosphere . Shall bring the children back while the elder grandchild graduates high school.
