We came here with our family and had so much fun, especially the kids in their outdoor pool. Hawthorne Grill offered great service and food.

Reasonably priced food, pleasant staff. Comfortable and relaxing gaming area. Anxious to try out the spa!

Very nice rooms, huge, spacious and have amenities like large jacuzzi tubs. Staff is very helpful and kind. Pretty grounds, medium sized gaming floor. Food in conference center is very mediocre.

I m a Las Vegas/Summerlin local, and I ve been going to JW my entire life, and my last stay there was just one disappointment and frustration after another - all on my wedding weekend. It started off with small things - we would call down to the front desk for a hanger with notches to hang my wedding dress, and they couldn t accommodate us. Later walking down the hall, we met a member of the service staff who was organizing hangers... all with notches. So, they had them all along, but the front desk couldn t even check for us? Great hospitality. Little thing like that kept happening. Then, an experience at Spa Aqaue left me crying in the manicure chair on the morning of my wedding. Totally embarrassing and a horrific memory on what should be a great day. After returning home, we discovered that the hotel had double charged us. We went back and forth with their finance department who seemed utterly clueless how to fix this. We ended up having to go through our bank to resolve the issue. Lastly, their cleaning staff threw out a sentimental item of mine that I cannot replace. It seemed like literally everything that could go wrong at a hotel went wrong that weekend, and all along the way, the staff and management at JW were completely unhelpful and inhospitable, and in the case of the Spa, completely disrespectful and abusive. I ll never set foot here again, and I am warning my friends and family of the same. It s unfortunate how downhill this place has become.

It s a hotel well and truly off the strip and rapidly nearing its sell by date. Facilities pretty much 80s Hacienda style . Clean spacious rooms and cavernous bathrooms - most w jacuzzi.
Casino right in the centre of things means you walk through the most depressing stale smoke scene any time you want to go across the facilities - seriously the stench of smoke is enough to make you gag.
Nice staff however, and their conference facilities and team were top notch - great catered food

Awesome hotel with a little bit of everything pool, spa, hot tub, gym, casino, good room selection, and a variety of restaurants. I recommend the jade restaurant all the food was amazing.

I love this resort. If you're looking for a nice relaxing experience Off the Strip you can't beat the JW Marriott.

Great resort experience. They have everything, food, casino, pool, spa and great rooms. No microwave in my room, which was a problem for the baby food.

Definitely deserves the AAA 4 diamond. Was delighted to hear gold and platinum elite members receive a discount on the resort fee. The only complaint I would have is that the towels were very rough on the skin. Also received an upgrade to an junior suite which was great for a upgrade.

First, the resort was beautiful. Overall we had a great stay. Everyone was very nice and professional. The pool was amazing. We loved it. A few things things I would like to point out. There were moths and a few other insects in our room. Th bed linens were very worn an some had rips in them. The pillows smelled very bad. I had to put my beach towel I had brought from home over the pillow, the smell was so offensive. We asked that our bed linens be changed everyday and this did not help I am giving the resort 4 stars, if not for the insect and smelly bed I would give it a 5.

I visited the Marriott to play bingo and have lunch with my sister. We love the hotel and ask the staff is extremely friendly.

With my job, I get to travel a lot. This is probably one of the finest hotels I ve ever stayed anywhere in the world. It is first class. What a showcase property. It is magnificent superclean the architecture is amazing there waterfalls everywhere ducks and geese and Koi fish in all the ponds. The pools are sparkling the service is wonderful the staff is great. I can t say enough about this property. I had a terrible experience a few hundred feet away at another hotel that rhymes with bun toast - spent one night there moved over here and couldn t have been happier. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone - no matter how picky or spoiled you are. ;-).

What a great place. This is my go to for Las Vegas. Yes, its off the strip. Way off the strip. I love that. Its quiet. The rooms are generously large. High ceilings give it that wealthy feel. The bathroom is more like a bathroom suite! With a seperate room for the toilet. A seperate shower amd a Jacuzzi tub! A little wet bar in the hall to the sleeping area. A sitting area next to the bed, and beautiful ceiling fan that works well. There is a door to the balcony area. There is not room to actually go outside, but who would when its hot out. You can open the door and enjoy the fresh air at dusk. The water feature below offers a serene feeling. The rates are great! There are also plenty of restaurants attached to the hotel. A short walk to a bar, a sushi bar, or plenty of other eateries. Its a nice area, do go here to relax. Sorry, I dont have a room pic, you'll just have to go enjoy for yourself.

Marriott lifetime member so I know what is expected from a Marriott branded hotel and this one falls far short. As stated by other reviews; the smoke permeates the rooms through the HVAC system. Not good for individuals with respiratory issues to begin with! The rooms are in desperate need of repairs and you can get a concerned staff member or one who could care less, depending on which one you encounter in person or by phone. The guest shower in our room flooded the entire bathroom and hallway on day one. The sheets were stained with blood and the handle from one of the bathroom faucets simply fell off when it was turned on. The exterior of the grounds is deceiving as it is immaculate and well kept. In comparison, the rooms are a disaster and need complete remodeling and repairs. I stayed here 4 years ago and it was a much better place than now. I called ahead on this trip to speak to "Ariel" about an upgrade, and she was 15 minutes late to work so she was happy to show me her displeasure during her commute to me over the phone. That was not at all a Marriott type behavior nor any other customer service rep from anywhere else that is successful. When I complained to management, they just asked if there was anything else they could do for me. Anything else? You did nothing to begin with. A very canned response from a script that is NOT appreciated. I've sent all of this to corporate and hopefully they will do something with the place but either way I will never stay at this one again. Hope this helps others avoid the disappointment.

The JW was amazing I loved the spa and just being able to come away from the craziness of the strip. Would highly recommend for relaxation.

Great place to stay. Was not impe with the NY steak delivered to my room. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

We love the Marriott but could not figure out why a JW Marriott would have the pool closed as this is a "resort". Not Impressed at all, they said it was closed because it was winter time but yet every where else we stayed the pools were open. Sounds like bad management to me. . .

Went to the Carmel Room for dinner. Excellent food along with great service.

While I understand this is 'Vegas', I didn't expect the hotel to smell of so much smoke. The hotel lobby, the hallways and even at the entrance to the room. They did give us a nice room but if this had no smoke smell I would give it 5*.

I like this hotel a lot, beautiful grounds, and it's clean. The spa needs some work, they usually have someone working the spa handing out sandals and robes, that person was MIA when i went there, i found a towel though, had to show another guy how to work the electronic lockers, also i slipped so many times in that spa, i actually twisted my knee pretty badly, but i didn't want to make a scene so i played it off cool.

The rooms at this hotel are amazing! Very spacious and updated. There are a few downfalls they had - construction going on and the noise was extremely loud, there are not enough umbrellas by the pool for the extreme heat and it would have been nice to have another Resturant that was reasonably priced open for lunch and dinner.

Just stayed here for the weekend. Meh. Hard to imagine this is a signature Marriott resort. Sub par on most things, especially restaurants and entertainment. If you're 50+ in age, want peace and quiet and maybe some golfing, and aren't a foodie ,stay here. Otherwise, I would go elsewhere.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite Friday thru Monday for a company retreat. The rooms were spotless, spacious, bright, and comfortable. Having stayed on the strip 6 weeks earlier, being off the strip and having access to so many restaurants within the hotel was super relaxing and a great change of pace. We were able to use the complementary shuttle to get to the strip, but spent most of our free time relaxing at the pool. All of the staff were pleasant and competent, and the breakfast buffet at the Hawthorne grill was delicious. The only thing we didn't have that we would have liked to have had is a microwave oven. The bar area did have a mini-fridge, and there was plenty of room to add a microwave to reheat our leftovers.

A beautiful place to visit, is in West Las Vegas, with a breathtaking panorama in which one can spend a great time as a family and a couple if you need to de-stress from the weekly things.

So far so good, only on our second day here. We haven't had any issues. The beds are Comfortable and the rooms are quiet and dark.

Bad machines, they tightend up the machines, $800 dollars and not 1 Four of kind, we've played there a lot and the machines were ok before the pandemic, it's not fair that there allowed to do that to us locals, I will not go back there anytime soon, of course they'll say that they don't do that but I know better, 30 years of playing video poker, I can't be fooled!

This place feels completely opposite from the Strip - the resort is beautiful, staff is attentive and we were able to sleep with our windows open to enjoy a cool breeze. Their casino is a bit calmer than one on the Strip, but still a lot of fun. The bathroom in even the most basic room was big with a separate jacuzzi tub and shower and the bed was comfortable. I will be staying here whenever I go to Vegas in the future!

I recommend this very cheap and good service to rest

My mother is in town for her birthday and this is the first place she chose after staying there in Dec when she came for my birthday. Rooms are beautifully appointed, service is great and your are centrally located to downtown and great shopping

Overall I would not come back. Staff was extremely rude and standoffish. They seemed very uninterested in there jobs and acted as if I was a bother even playing in there casino. I had an issue and needed security for the problem and security guard was just absolutely no help and even took a personal phone call mid conversation very unprofessional. Hotel rooms were nice but that's about it.

I had a junior suite. This hotel is so elegant. The customer service was great. I was there for our motorcycle convention. I plan to return for my own personal escape. I slept so well in the bed, my view from the room was so relaxing. The buffet that was downstairs was good as well. I could go on and on. I really loved it.

Rooms were clean and nice size..Everybody went out of there way to provide Excellent customer service. .

Wonderful facilities and friendly staff. The restaurant was way overpriced compared to the one a short walk down the hall in the casino. Would recommend.

Get there early on Tuesdays for the $5 senior buffet and there is plenty of parking.

Rooms are spacious, but nothing special. Resort and casino are older and tired. Glad this was a business trip, so far away from the real Las Vegas experience, it felt like being at any typical resort with gambling. If your coming for the Vegas Mystique, don't waste your time and money, stay in the strip or downtown, this resort will disappoint you, as it is several minutes away from all the action and craziness that make Vegas.
