Best restaurant on Virgin Gorda, by a long way (probably the best in BVI!) for ambience, food, service, view and cocktails. Loved the CocoMaya Sushi Roll and the champagne-lychee cocktail. We arrived just before a spectacular sunset and finished by the fire pit on the beach. We ate their 3 times and loved everything. Unfortunately, our vacation finished before the Full Moon Party, but would have loved to attend! Looking forward to coming back and hanging out with the friendly "regulars"...

Great food, great place to see a sunset! We went as a family during happy hour, the kids played in the sand with the games- then we stayed for dinner and sunset. Food was fantastic! Asian fusion couldnt be beat. The jalepeno margarita was just the right amount of spice! One tip, for the evening, bring bug spray for your legs if you are going to play in the sand. But that is the price of a perfect sunset dinner!

Best service, views, and food in the BVI at a reasonable price. It s a little off the beaten path, but well worth the taxi ride (preferred method) or walk from the marina.

Our server Cindy was, hands down, the best service we ve received all week here in the BVI. She was at tentative, fun, and guided us through the drinks and comprehensive menu. Ask for Cindy if you make a reservation, she was that good.

The food was excellent, drinks were perfect, and be prepared to share small plates for a high end experience.

The views were stunning, with seating at tables and many couches on the beach. If you make reservations in advance, you can get the table right on the beach, or for an extra fee and a large enough party you can get a private table setup in their private beach.

Next time we re in the BVI, we ll plan a stop just to visit again. We came from a chartered catamaran on a mooring ball outside the marina. It may be possible to anchor closer to the restaurant and/or dinghy to the dock that is right next to the restaurant.

Beautiful atmosphere and service. Celebrated anniversary dinner and we were presented with some very unique cocoa rich brownies ( quite fitting btw) with sparklers! Loved it! Before that we had the a roll of eel sushi, that came in 5. It was karaoke night (Sunday) and about 3 other celebrations taking place so everyone was quite bubbly.

Kind of an upscale place, mostly for tourists, but the service and the food was awesome. Nice interior; beachfront. Gratuity automaticaly added to the bill, so be aware. Would recommend!

I would say this place is one of the best restaurants in the BVI. The architecture/design is pleasing and elegant. The location on the beach front is nice but you don t get sand in your food. The music was good. Food was great. The dishes are kind of small as the it s more of a sharing menu. If you have any dietary restrictions let them know and be clear because they ll do their best but in our case they did make a mistake with one of the orders. We came for lunch but loved it so much we would have come back for dinner if our schedule had allowed for it.

A friend of mine was always speaking (positively) about CocoMaya Restaurant so I decided to visit this restaurant for my birthday this year so I made a trip in March 2014. I live on Tortola so I had to take a ferry to get to Virgin Gorda and then I took a taxi to get to CocoMaya Restaurant.

First of all the settings was nothing I have seen in the territory for a long time. The settings are absolutely amazing. As soon as I entered the compound there are facilities for the kids to enjoy, there are seating accommodation out on the beach so you can sit and have a few drinks with may some snacks.

I had lunch, mini taco salad and while I dined, I was entertained with music and enjoyed the scenery. The service was great and the gourmet food, excellent.

Most beautiful place in the island! Clean, Chic, five star in every manner! Do not overlook a meal here! It is off the beaten path. You feel you've been transported to a fantasy island. Food was delicious from start to finish. Would have liked a larger portion of food but nothing to complain about. Absolutely the best the BVI'S offered this time around.

Lots of waiting, very inconsistent dishes, even for tapas, especially at this price, and the messy service even though friendly.
There are nearby addresses with better value for money and with such a nice atmosphere!

Untz untz. Delicious clubby dinner. Perfect location. Excellent Decor. Great Drink selection. Loved just about everything i tried, including edamame, sushi, empanadas, and truffle fries. However, I wasn't a big fan of their version of chicken pad thai (missing the peanut sauce?) Regardless, A+ experience.

Fantastic place. We reserved a table for our wedding party and it was set up on the beach. Very secluded and very cool ! The food was wonderful and the service was great. The bride and groom could not have been happier. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

All the dishes we ordered were delicious! Including the dessert and cocktails. The place is beautiful and very fun and cozy. We were sitting on the beach area with our small kids and it was perfect!

Atmosphere and ambiance probably best Restaurant spot on island.
They have Asian SPICY food so its not really our thing food wise. Would like them to add a few things for us non spicy people. Then the place would be our go to probably.
Great bar though

Best restaurant in the BVI! This is upscale dining at an amazing beach front location with terrific sunset views and beach lounging. Just the facility and location alone would make this a great place, but on top of that the food and cocktails were perfect. We had a group of 4 and ordered several plates to share including ribs (2 orders), sliders, sushi (3 different kinds), tandoori chicken skewers, etc. Every item we ordered was outstanding. We even went home with to-go barbecue sauce b/c the chili/lime/garlic sauce for the ribs was so good we couldn't leave without it.
Thanks to Stevie for the delicious food and to Chanel for the top notch service!
We would all definitely go back!!

Awesome place. Monica the main bartender is amazing. The assistant manager Brianna should run this place. She makes our visits pleasant and makes us want to return time after time. Coco Maya is the place to be in Virgin Gorda.

Walking in it had a great atmosphere and I was really excited to eat there. That was the end of my enjoyment. The food was average at best and certainly not worth the price. Just about every other restaurant on the island has better food for far cheaper.

But the worst part by far is the drinks. I had there cocktail of pineapple in fused gin with coconut ice thinking it would be good. It was completely undrinkable easily the worst thing I have ever tasted in my whole life. $12 dollars down the drain literally I refused to finish it. I would absolutely not recommend eating there.
