Jurys Inn Croydon Review

Myself and my wife have stayed here multiple times and what can I say, the high quality service and attention to detail still remains. Firstly I would like to comment on the cleanliness of the bathroom aswell as the room itself. I thought the food was delicious and above all I was made feel like I was at home which made me feel extremely comfortable. I would also like to personally thank David aswell as Sarah and Kieran as there service was second to none for me and help was always at hand when I needed it. Myself and my wife will be back very soon. Thanks so much again.

Only vised reception area to meet with colleague what I found was clean tidy highly polished no litter to be seen tables did not house used dishes etc The staff whom I met were very helpful courteous and informative

Cannot find one nice thing to say about my whole experience. Had a group booking, they couldn't even find the booking on arrival after speaking to them a number of times in the days before arrival to make arrangements. The lost credit card details / locking our guests out of the room. And even now trying to get the invoice with VAT number on it they can't even find out booking. Its a joke of a hotel. Wouldn't stay there if i ever had a choice again.

Use this hotel when we travel for the football, rooms are good, staff very friendly, breakfast, restaurant and bar meals are good

Having drinks in the bar tonight, David the manager spoke to us to see how our day was. Most hotels I stay in are pretty mundane and staff seem to keep to themselves but David and the team here are very different. Great hotel, great food and even better staff.

Just completely reformed, I ve been here before and the rooms looks old and not that clean, now is just amazing, clean, new, with a really nice design, all the comforts and the rest in the bed is perfect and really comfortable. As always the staff is nice and professional. WiFi is good. The position of the hotel as well, just next to the mall.

Modern good size rooms with good toilet and shower/bath facilities. They even have water dispensing machines by the elevators on some of the floors.

Spent one night at Jurys Inn, the room was a good size and very comfy, the location was ideal for a short walk to the train station and the reception staff were very nice (Michelle). The breakfast in the morning also very nice with the the hospitality of Kieran really making an extra mile!

Good for business, perfect location, walking distance to rail and bus station and restaurants. Rooms are not great though.

Very Friendy. Easy to get around local areas from the hotel. Food is amazing at the hotel if you dont want to travel around.

Attended Croydon Chamber of commerce Grapevine meeting. Lovely place and people but let down by poor pa system and food run out by time I arrived.

Pretty standard hotel. Nothing special, nothing to complain about.

Pleasant , clean rooms. Check in was a breeze and was allowed to check in hours early so I didn't have to wait. Friendly staff and good service all round. Location is a bit urban, with a main road right below my window, but can't be helped and can barely hear the traffic below which is great.

5 minute walk from East Croydon station. Reception, helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. All you need for a comfortable stay. Food at the bar is great quality and large portion. Great choice and average price for hotels again the service is warm and friendly. Breakfast is excellent, buffet style but lots of choice. Good quality food. Staff again are helpful and friendly.
For great value stay within 15mins of Central London this is a great choice. For extra value join Jury's Reward for more savings.

Great spot to see the city, which in itself is worth it. Came with Brae which was fine. Hotel was good with well-appointed bedrooms, very good food and top knot service. Will come back and use again!

A warm welcome on arrival by the receptionist. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast buffet was varied, cereal, hot, fresh. Only downside was off site parking but a reduced rate with an NCP because of the hotel. Would stay again.

Went for drinks rather than staying in the hotel. Drink selection was good and made reasonably well. Decently priced.

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff, a real pleasure from the time we turned up to book in. Room a Good size and a very clean bathroom.

Nice, comfortable hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Good bar and restaurant too. Only let down by having a lift out of action which meant it could take a long time to get one. Speaking to another guest it had been out of action for several weeks.

We only stopped here to have a choice in the Costa Coffee. The hotel looked clean and smart and the coffee bar was comfortable, clean and looked well kept and modern

I had a good stay it's location is prime as regards access to public transportation also close to the shipping mall and their staff are very friendly

Had the pleasure of staying in this hotel for two nights recently. It met all the requirements of a good standard hotel in terms of room, food, hygiene and accessibility. The thing that impressed us most was the staff, especially the reception staff. They were kind, welcoming, helpful and interested in us as guests.
I have been staying in hotels routinely for many years and have found that what distinguishes a good hotel from a great hotel is the quality of the staff. Jury's Inn, Croydon has it in abundance.

A really good hotel if you are in London for a few days. The Jurys Inn is very well connected to the city by public transport which takes no more than 20 minutes to get to the city. The rooms and the rest of the hotel are on a good structural and technical stand. It is well respected for cleanliness and order. The breakfast is very good and balanced you can enjoy a typical English breakfast but also simple sausage and bread can be found there. The staff are polite and dedicated. The price per night is in the usual frame. Wifi is free and has a good reception throughout. Also the in-room safe was available for us for free.

I attended an event, so I'm unable to comment on the rooms. The entrance on arrival, the hotel looks very suave. There was a bar and a restaurant you can use even if you are not a guest. The staff I had minimal interaction with as it was simply to ask what floor the event was on. The only downfall I would say was the lack of security in identifying perpetrators from genuine guest.
Prevention is better than cure, something the hotel should look into.

No fridge in the room no aircondition in the room so so was ok croydon not nice area

Very decent hotel. You can reach East Croydon train station in a few minutes on foot and Boxpark is just as close by. From East Croydon it's a 15 minute ride to Londen. Boxpark has you covered for drinks and food in the evening. So if you want a Londen holiday but staying in Londen is too expansive... stay at Jury's Inn.

Very good..showers slightly dated and one lift out of action but otherwise good.

Had a lovely evening at Croydon the staff were very efficient and very friendly and will be telling all my family and friends to come here. such a lovely evening. The manager is Alex and the staff were Michelle and Reece very impressed and will be coming again

Would give 4 stars but room 325 had no toilet brush

Absolutely lovely 5 star great staff i surprise my boyfriend for his birthday at the hotel i got everything and take it in the staff did everything else for me.even got complimentary champagne had an awesome time.

Went here for a Christmas work party. Food was nice but we thought the wine was in the booking price but that was extra. Disco was good and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Fine 3 star hotel. Great location for commuting to other places (5 min to East Croydon station). The room is clean and comfortable, but the bathroom could be better.

Arrived at 2.20pm after a long journey room not ready. This could be first and last visit.

My favourite London Hotel for the price. Will always recommend people to stay here

I just didn t have a good experience here. The foyer is modern but the minute you get to your room it is extremely dated. It s clean and well kept but just... dated. The room was quiet enough though AC was on the noisy side. The shower was a weird high pressure mist experience that was incredibly awkward to wash with. I ordered room service after numerous phone calls that ultimately never arrived. The hot breakfast was disappointing undercooked bacon, styrofoam scrambled eggs and rubber poached eggs. The sausages tasted nice but had a lot of gristle in them and the coffee was pretty grim. Overall I think I just had a bad initial experience that soured the rest of the stay (it was for business travel so it didn t ruin a holiday).

Very poor- window doesnt close, was so cold the steam from the shower set the fire alarm off. Reception staff then accused me of vaping (again because of the steam). Asked reception for someone to look at broken heating/ac, all day and its still not working. Food is poor. No parking. And man croydon is rough.

Excellent location. Two blocks from the train station. In 15 minutes to the airport you will be in 10 minutes to the Thames. Modern. Comfortable.

Friendly staff, great service, we were made to feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble.
