Came here for breakfast and a meeting. Food was good but for the price there are definitely little things they can do to bring the quality up. The coffee machine is extremely basic, only offering americano's. The meeting room facilitates were ok, however it was very cold and no instructions given as to how to use the heating/cooling system
Best hotel in Croydon. Thoroughly recommend. The staff are all really kind and professional. Reda, the hotel manager, goes the extra mile and really cares that you enjoy your stay. It is an ideal place to stay if you are travelling alone. There is a proper reception all day and night, room service, great food and a very welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are large and the bed is very comfortable. Loads better than other chains.
Stayed recently in the hotel. Could not fault one department from check in to check out. All staff very attentive. Food in restaurant was fabulous. Particularly the House burger. Quiet full nights sleep in a very comfortable bed.

Great hotel, I arrived at 8 pm and was checked in by Emilia. She was lovely, really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good! Hotel is just a five-minute walk to the train station. Great hotel, great staff!
I made use of the conference facilities. Vincent provided us with a fantastic service when arranging our refreshments; he couldn t have been more polite and helpful.
Another great stay at the Jury's Inn Croydon!! Had a great welcome with a glass of wine on check inn, an excellent meal at the bar and a relaxing evening ready for a day at work. Breakfast is always good and I for freshly cooked poached eggs when I stay there. Overall great. One word of advice, get some info on using the room heating properly. There's a knack to getting the rooms warm and this time of year you'll feel the cold I'd you don't! Enjoy your stay and may see you there.

Go to my Weight Watchers on Saturday mornings and it's a nice setting. Jury Inn is close to East Croydon Station and Whitgift Shopping Centre. A ideal place to stay while exploring the town and Central London.
I stayed at the jurys Inn once in Milton Keynes, breakfast was excellent.
Some toilets were out of tissues and they weren't looked after.

For the price this is a great hotel.
Overall very good. We got put in a room that had a strong stench of cigarettes. After informing reception we immediately got moved to a room on the top floor, and were given a couple of free drinks.Excellent service, room was basic and breakfast was good.

After visiting London for the first time I found jurys Inn Croydon very suitable to our needs, close to transport links into central London which was fantastic. Breakfast in the hotel was of a good selection and staff seemed genuinely interested in taking care of our needs. The housekeeping staff were very attentive and our room was kept spotless for the 3 nights we stayed.

The location was perfect for my needs. Check in very welcoming. Lovely room. Bar area looked nice and breakfast had porridge available. Check out quick and easy. Costa coffee available at the bar.
Middle standard hotel. Very convenient for journeys in to London. East Croydon is 15 minutes from London Bridge and Victoria.

Room was OK - bed a bit firm but what hotel bed isn't? Their special pillows were really comfortable and although their special duvet looked too thick, I didn t get too hot. Perhaps that was due to the room being a bit cold even with the air conditioning switched off? I was on the 5th floor but traffic noise was a problem - I wished I'd taken earplugs. Shower was a decent pressure but was a needle fine spray which was unpleasant. You can't adjust the pressure which wasn't good. Plenty choice at breakfast. They screwed up my booking trying to tell me I was room only with no breakfast - I went back to my room and took my agent's confirmation that I had Full Breakfast included. A manager had appeared by then and confirmed I was to have breakfast. When I was checking out, the receptionist tried to argue with me regarding breakfast even when I showed her my booking confirmation and even when I told her the matter had already been resolved by a manager. Her supervisor stepped in and apologised saying that a mistake had been made with my booking. She didn t admit outright that it was their mistake and not my agent's though...

Stayed one night based on reviews and location close to East Croydon Train Station. The rooms are modern but warm and inviting. Every member of the staff encountered was friendly and helpful. Rooms were well appointed. Everything you need is close by 5 min. walk. Would definitely recommend this hotel with any reservation at all.
Location is ok in Croydon, if you are on holiday in London you should look for something else.
First had a room with a 1.20 m bed and obviously not well cleaned inventory and rooms (bathroom & bed). After multiple complaints and announced cleaning, which obviously wasn't carried out, we were upgraded to a so-called executive room. Here, too, the cleanliness wasn't really right even after a daily cleaning.
I was very dubious about this hotel - largely due to the location on a very busy road in the city of Croydon. However, it was easy to access with plenty of (chargeable) parking available despite is being of the season. Check-in quick and allocated a room on the third floor which took us above any road noise. Tea and coffee in the room with milk and a small biscuit. Breakfast was a buffet style with plenty to choose from. Adrian was very professional! Overall a pleasant stay with friendly staff - oh and the bar area is a nice space for meeting friends for a drink!
After just a short and pleasant walk from Croydon Train Station on a warm afternoon and the Jurys Inn Croydon was providing an efficient and friendly check-in. The room was fairly standard for a Jurys Inn and had all that would be expected and needed apart from perhaps a complimentary bottle of water. The bed and selection of pillows allowed for a comfortable night sleep. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety and selection. Bar area in the evening good as well! All round a good place to crash, work and relax!
Comfortable bed, room plenty big enough. Restaurant food quite good compared to other hotels in the area. Well situated. Beds not as big as some other chains though, and the carpets/bathrooms/TVs/sofas do feel a bit dated. Also can be quite expensive.

Awful place to stay. The room was too small and the bed was hard and too noisy
Stayed here many times. Nice to see finally it's new look. However I don't understand why you have to slam your room door shut from the outside! Every door in the hotel does it. Don't count on a full night sleep here Stupid design. Aircon shuts off after a few hours too.
Definitely a place to avoid when you visit next. This place doesn't really deserve the kind of attention it received on Booking and other sites. This place is in little rough neighborhood and it's better to avoid going out post 8pm. I tried to have dinner at a restaurant just 200 meters away and walk back to the hotel with my family but I could sense lot of rough people around us. Even the restaurant owner suggested us to leave early and be safe. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone ever.
Reception is always a very fast to check in and out. Stayed in several of the refurbished rooms and they are v spacious and ideal for business traveller. Beds v comfy. Had a meal in restaurant which was also top notch.
I stay regularly at this hotel. I find that the staff are always friendly and helpful. Hotel reception is clean and on the whole efficient (occasionally the hotel can be quite busy and more staff to process check-ins would help). The decor of the rooms is generally modern but can give the impression of being under maintained. Food is good but a little pricey for what it is. The menu is not particularly adventurous.
Receive Fantastic service from every member of staff. Starting with really smooth check-in, amazing lunch served in the bar, and fabulous breakfast buffet next day morning. Price of the drinks as well very reasonable for London area. Will come and stay again when in the area!
Came here for the night for our anniversary as the contract was signed here a year ago lol. Staff were as friendly as our 1st time. Place has had a very good revamp even though there was nothing wrong with it before. But that just shows how the jurys inn are always eager to be better :) I 110% recommend the breakfast. Real english breakfast feel with what is on offer also a yummy healthy section. Will definitely be back :)

Went in for a meal. Timely service and the food was good.
Was here for 3 days on a course. Didn't stay overnight though. Reception was nice and clean and quite lively as there is a cafe are there too. The suite we was in was nice and clean and well lit. The only thing that let it down was the service to the room. We was supposed to have tea and coffee facilities brought in the morning and at lunch time. The first day the morning service was quite late and we had to chase up the lunch service which then arrived at about 3 pm just before we finished. Day 2 the morning and lunch service was on time. Day 4 the mot ING was on time and again the afternoon service arrived shortly before we finished for the day.

Rooms are modern, clean and spacious so no complaints there. I think there should however be more staff at breakfast, to stop what I noticed was a large number of the people with zero etiquette / class from using the same tongs to pick their eggs, sausages, bacon, beans.. this is disgusting!
Mixed!! Hotel lovely, clean even though undergoing refurbishment. Breakfast plentiful even at 10:30 however some of the cooked items were lukewarm. Be VERY careful regarding the car park instructions. The subsidised NCP car park is not all the Whitgift centre car parks. Receptionist this morning was less than helpful to the point of rudeness, which has clouded the rest of the staff who couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful.

Ac started making noise at 2 am. When switched off!. Called reception she said may be ypu are too sensitive! I said ac is off. Loud Noise coming from ac unit at the enterance. She sent someone and finaly agreed when hwr colleague called her to say i was right. Changes my room at 2.30. No apologies whatsoever.
Recently refurbished. Both the rooms,bar and lobby are much better

The room was clean and good condition. The hotel took note of my request for the top floor and delivered a fantastic room for my stay. The staff were friendly and the lobby was welcoming and grand.

The staff are a joke and have no customer service skills at all. The manager is a little midget mexican on a powertrip. The rooms are dirty and overpriced for what you get. Travelodge is 100 times better!!
Lovely atmosphere in the bar, staff made sure we were looked after as best as possible. The Irish Manager came over and spoke to us and made some recommendations on what to do in the city. Rooms are tastefully decorated and breakfast was delicious. This hotel ticks all the boxes and is cheap compared to competition in the area and London city. 10/10

Great place to stay. Very cordial staff, big sized rooms with good facilities in the hotel. Close to Croydon East train station as well as the Centre area. Enjoyed staying here during my visit in March 2019.
