Amazing Hotel ,amazing hotel,,clean,gently staff,,near public transport

Staff really unhelpful. Do not accommodate corporate events very well at all. Reception staff have no customer service skills at all

Very clean hotel, friendly staff and good + cheap food in the hotel bar.
Clean and friendly designed rooms. The hotel was recently renovated and the renovation is not quite finished, but you can't hear or see anything, in terms of construction noise or dirt, etc. The rooms and the windows are very well insulated against traffic noise (the street in front of the hotel is but do not drive too much). The rooms are air conditioned and the beds / mattresses are very comfortable and quite new. There are adapter sockets for USB cables (charge smartphones directly via USB cable) and other electrical devices. WLAN reception is good and fast throughout the hotel.
We were there for a long weekend and were positively impressed by the good connection to public transport (bus and train) and the numerous shops nearby. It takes about 45 minutes to get to central London by train + underground.
I can recommend this hotel with a clear conscience and we will stay there on future trips to London.

Little note for the management: please add toilet brushes for the bathrooms and maybe an outdoor ashtray in front of the main entrance (some guests put their cigarette ends on the ground in front of the entrance or even into the flower pots there)

Lovely location, very hospitable & a chic foyer. Rooms are a bit dated but overall quite adequate.

Already a bit older the hotel.
But if you take off from Gatwick airport, it is highly recommended because of the good transport links (trains to the airport, Overgrund to London, etc.). In addition, the staff was always very friendly.
The bed from the standard double room was unfortunately a bit small.

new refurbished room are lovely, bathrooms are very clean, food in the hotel was nice, breakfast service was great, reception checkin and check out was very professional. Top staff - David, Adrian, Lucy.

Nice and clean rooms. The breakfast is very good. The location is great, many options to buy things and eat. With the train, you are in the city of London in 15-20 minutes.

Great hotel and excellent service from Ludy in the F&B department

I visit the hotel to eat in the restaurant whilst I'm working away from home. Very warm, relaxing atmosphere. Great service. Santan is very polite, accommodating, professional and hard working. He deserves recognition, and a raise.

Great stay, close to East Croydon local scene, shopping, bars, restaurants, bus, tram and trains.

A very nice hotel. Staff efficient, friendly and helpful. Immaculate room. The room needs two proper chairs for sitting st the table, tjete is more than enough room. Please, please, please ditch the washed out towels, they look grey and dingy. Sorry but the breakfast delivered to the bedroom , which was expensive, was not to my taste or expectations. I definitely would not have the breakfast again, however, we will definitely stay with you again.

I especially liked the polite way of dealing with them. We still had to print our plane tickets. It was no problem to just send an email to the receptionist and we could pick you up at night when we were back from the London trip.
In addition, there were hardly any communication problems there.

Stayed 1 night in 26th Jan. Everything was totally 10 out if 10. Very friendly, helpful staff. Room lovely, cleanliness first class, food great. I'm quite picky when it comes to hotel service & standards. I could not find any fault with this hotel at all, only disappointment was that we could not stay longer. Well done to management and all staff, you have got it all spot on. Thank you for a lovely stay, will definitely be back.

Stayed in the hotel with a group of friends, staff were friendly, food was of good quality and hotel was close to excellent transport links to central London.

Enjoyed the stay, clean room, convenient location to the stations. Nearby parking with available validation.

The rooms where spotless and breakfast was lovely. Plenty of options. I ordered dinner in the bar that night and unfortunately the burger was burnt.

The rooms are clean and spacious, the bathroom is okay.
The bed is a bit narrow and has a wide top bed that we did not like so much.
The hotel is very noisy and our room was provided with a closed door to the next room which was used to.
The breakfast is good, rich and offers something for almost every taste.
All in all a good hotel but not anymore.

The location was central and convenient, the staff and service top notch, and room and hotel space beautiful. Rooms are well appointed, good storage, plenty of hangers! Food in bar very good and great selections of drinks! Will come and stay again!

Fine. Wasn't informed there were works happening right outside the hotel so it's slightly more difficult getting to the car park especially with children. Service is fine though

Met up with a friend who was in town for a few days for a drink before heading out.its been a fair few years since I've been here and it looks to have improved. Love the decor in the bar area and the staff were really polite and welcoming. Prices were good, for what we ordered and a much nicer atmosphere than some of the local bars in the area.

Went for a course in a hired room. Great it had air con as would have cooked!! Clean, tidy and helpful staff!!

Hotel's structure is excellent, the neighborhood is interesting, yet too far from central London, plus nothing absurd either, 30 min by train on average.

Not a bad place to stay, in a good position for the centre of Croydon - 5 minutes walk from the train stations. Very friendly staff and a nice cooked breakfast.

Nice clean and well maintained, bar very expensive though.

Good breakfast (English or continental) but especially renovated room, great bed, new bathroom and everything very clean! I recommend very warmly, very close to East Croydon station (15 minutes from Gatwick) which can be used as a starting point for London and its surroundings!

Clean room and comfy bed. But the wall is a bit thin because I can actually hear someone snore next door. Breakfast buffet is ok but not when they r serving the same items for the entire week

Very nice hotel, very pleasant staff, even gave me a free drink for my birthday.

Breakfast in the morning a bit chaotic, and the double beds a bit tight for non-married couples, moreover, no real closet available, but otherwise very satisfactory hotel. East Croydon Station is just a few meters away, from where you can get to the city in just over fifteen minutes or the London Bridge or Victoria train stations. Tram stop also in front of the door.

Cheap, clean. Good connection by train, tram and bus. Only the coffee needs to get better.

Stayed overnight when I locked myself out. Quite disappointed. No one to take the bags. Handed two electronic keys with no explanation. Obviously one for the electricity but did not open door. Usually they are dual purpose. No food after 10pm either in restaurant or room service which was not good news after travelling all day although I was told I could order in a takeaway. Not my idea of fun eating out of polystyrene and the weather was sufficiently bad to prevent going to a local restaurant.
Bar was open until 1am but could not get a decent coffee ot hot chocolate as the machine was being cleaned.

Had great experience in this hotel, located in heart of croydon quite busy road. Hotel may have it's own parking, breakfast was wonderful and ofcourse no problem with food choices in croydon that's a plus point.

Great hotel but parking was a huge issue. Especially with 2 small children with us.

The service was amazing. Alex the manager was fantastic. Reece and Michelle (GRADUATE MANAGER) were so attentive, friendly and helpful. Would come here again.

Clean, reasonably priced and situated in the centre of Croydon very close to East Croydon Station

Can I recommend to anyone. Room clean, great breakfast, 5 minutes walk to the train station from there every 10 minutes. a train to London.
