During 5 days of my trip to Singapore between 17-22 Nov 2019 and happen to visit this place with other colleagues. It serves amazing food. Crowded always. Only one Veg Option. . But amazing sea food.

This is a lovely place by the sea and the food was great too. The staff were nice and the atmosphere very relaxing. There are a few more seafood restaurants adjoining Jumbo in this stretch. A visit worthy during your visit to Singapore

This place is always pack. The food are great but a little expensive. Next to the seaside. Good view of the sea during daytime. There are many other seafood restaurants nearby, but this is the most popular. Chilli crab is a must eat for this restaurant. Better make table reservations in advance. Even with table reservation, expect to wait during peak hours.

Usually it's good but I think because they're trying to promote their Alaskan crab, their mud crabs are really small this time. Come early to get a seat outside where there's a sea breeze and view, that's first come first serve only. You can call ahead to reserve a large crab if you want one more than 1kg. Their chili crab is famous but the butter crab is not bad either

Poor value for money, service standards, food quality.

I have been to JUMBO at the same location once, with the family. We had such poor food, I can't even believe I'm typing this. We ordered chili crab, a dish they are famous for. It arrived, cold. COLD. The shell was cold to the touch, and the meat inside was warm, at best. My dad and mum were immediately furious and complained to the waitress. Not that we were in any wrong. We paid 80 bucks for a delectable, famous dish that was promised to wow us; Not a cold, pre-cooked crab that was probably taken out of the fridge and microwaved a bit.

Service was also poor. As we tried to order, my dad had to speak three times before the waitress even got the first dish down. She wasn't listening despite asking us what we wanted; constantly shouting to the other waitresses and making arrangements for other tables. She was in front of us and we should not have been slighted like that. It happened a few more times as we ordered our 6 dishes.

I will not patronise this place again. The food standard has fallen, and service is subpar. Foreign visitors should think twice before coming for its "fame". Or perhaps it is that they just offer better service to the tourists, who knows.

We came to this famous seafood restaurant for dinner today. We ordered a variety of things, crab and fish were delicious. The service was very good and the ambience was nice. We also drank some beer, which was beautifully paired with the black pepper crab. This particular outlet is perhaps my favourite It was also a beautiful evening and the weather was pleasant, which enhanced our a dining experience.

Went to Jumbo Seafood for dinner on a Tuesday evening. Wasn t very crowded and was seated immediately.

We ordered one Chilli and one Pepper Crab, baby Kai Lan and Salted Egg Prawns.

Some of the dishes were prepared before hand like the Kai Lan and the Salted Egg Prawn which was served within 5 minutes upon ordering. The Salted Egg Prawn was disappointing, with a lack is Salted Egg sauce. The batter may have some salted egg but that s pretty much. Kai Lan was okay.

Both the chilli and pepper crabs were good. Ordered fried man tou to accompany the chilli crab sauce as well.

For dessert, we had the Yam Paste and the Mango Pomelo. The Mango Pomelo felt like mango syrup, Pomelo and sage thrown into the bowl, without any bits of mango. Wasn t worth it. The Yam Paste was good with the thick paste and wasn t overly sweet.

Overall the bill came out to be almost $300 for an average quality of seafood. This place was my childhood seafood to go place, but the standard isn t very good anymore.

Pricey. And super crowded. The dishes come one at a time... and we finished them so fast. The portions are not alot for the ribs, tofu, scallops despite ordering large. The price is an overkill. The crispy sheng mian was nonetheless good and highly recommended

Terrible experience. Upon sitting down, was asked by the service crew 4, 5 times. Me and my partner didn't even have the chance to look through the menu. And was asked for the Drinks 3,4 times while looking through the menu.

Can't they just wait patiently? Let us read your long list of menu in peace?

Food wise, long list of variety seafood which are wonderful.
Food are nice, but not at the quality you want to spend at the amount to visit again.
Chili crab sauce is the only honorable mention, must try
