Poor service. Made a reservation but they couldn't find it. Had me seated eventually which was fine and then I got an sms saying I made the reservations at 615 when I clearly mentioned 6 over the phone. That's fine cos there were plenty of seats ard anyway. We were pointed to a server who would have brought us to a table but he got distracted by a fellow server and they engaged in a conversation and took us forever to be showed our seats. We were ready to order our food but no waiter in sight to take our orders. The only good that came out of it was that the food was served pretty fast But we decided to order a bottle of wine and we were at the tail end of our dinner and still no wine. We asked about it only to be told that the wine was out of stock. We'll shouldn't that have been mentioned Much Much earlier? Then we would have ordered a different wine instead. Overall food was slightly above Ave but service was definitely lacking and mind you, the restaurant was not at its peak capacity. Disappointing.

Bad first time experience. Waiter/waitresses were rude (was asking a waiter to take a photo of my family, he was so impatient and took poor pic) Food was soso, crab was nice but greatly overpriced.

This is tourist place, highly recommend that you book a table before you arrive. It's a franchise and you will find a few in Singapore. The chilli Crab and pepper crab our must to try with the fried buns.

Was here for a birthday dinner and the food is terrible. Ordered the set menu and every dish that came out was mediocre. The only dish that I felt was delicious was the fried Hokkien Mee with clams at the end. Could have had a better food experience if we went a la carte instead of the set menu.

It is very popular with the tourist due to Jumbo being a big name in the seafood scene in Singapore. But my personal opinion, it s a tourist trap and you can definitely find way better chinese seafood at zhi char restaurants at half the price.

The Chilli Crab at Jumbo Seafood in the East Coast Seafood Centre is absolutely out-of-this-world!

They are fresh, large and meaty crabs drowned with the most delicious chilli sauce ever (it is not too spicy with a perfect level of kick). We deliberately chose a long stopover in Singapore to get some chilli crab at Jumbo Seafood which is not far from the airport.

We love the soft mantou buns that you can order to soak up the beautiful chilli crab sauce. The deep fried baby squid is also excellent.

The ambience and atmosphere in being next to the ocean with a sea breeze is also quite pleasant (although it does get extremely busy as well and sometimes you may have to queue).

Although the prices are high, especially for drinks (e.g. SGD 8 for a beer) and service is usually rushed and not always friendly, the standard of food is consistently wonderful so we would still come back here.

Great food, good crab, sassy waiter, air-conditioned rooms or right next to the see. So much going on that I loved to experience, however, it's just not 5/5, it's not perfect but it's a very pleasant experience. Would recommend going and expecting to pay ~50SGD a person

This is a place where many of us like to bring our visitors here. But I would have to say the food standards are just so so. I guess probably there are always crowded. The service is not good and the food is certainly unlike what we get in some of the neighborhoods seafood restaurants.
