Private member's club which began life as a Hideaway for expats... Good food here!

Nice ambience. Great service. However food never got it right. ask for medium rare for steak but served well done!

Great location, family and business family, with yummy food served

Recently refurbished. Had lunch at Tradewinds. It was tasty.

My fave club in SG. Excellent sandwiches esp the pastrami and salmon salad. Good place to socialize with expats!

Great renovation since my last visit in 1998,sax to see it going so soon!

The Club's friendly staff and great service mostly compensate for an ongoing renovation project that has gobbled up half the floor space and feels like it's been underway forever.

Used to be great. Now just alright? Recently renovated for $63 million. They lost building space streetside to the government during the renovation . Lacking the communal feel of old and build quality control is lacking, just look up. Good food and great service.

only ok after the big renovation, I preferred the previous structure and layout of services. Especially the swimming pool area is much worse than it was before

Great place to chill and have a drink. Hot dog and burger are both delicious.

The ambiance is good but the food at the cafe is veey so so. You can get better at, any reasonable cafe in town

I am sorry to be renovating but I am satisfied with the 2nd floor restaurant and the pool food, and the cappuccino and cake pastries are delicious. The people stay clean on many weekends and the staffs are kind and satisfactory.
I hope the construction is over soon.

Amazing place. Very good food and drinks. Nice place to relax and blow off some steam. No tank tops allowed in the restaurant. The pool is also really nice

Excellent bowling facility. Lots of quiet areas if you want to make a quick call or something.

Nothing really special just hanging out with friends and families. Membership is not bad compared to other clubs in Singapore.

Wat do u expect?? Nothing more than the best of the best... staff r really good enough to make the guest/or member like me to be amazed w/them ,how r so polite n nice of them

American club is, in my opinion, one of the BEST clubs to join in Singapore. They have excellent staff, great food and so many things to do!

The best social club in town. Good food, activity filled for all ages, sporting facilities to suit everyone, well located, friendly staff, great ambience especially after it's renewal.

Despite the construction, the club still feels cozy. Looking forward for the completion!

The quality of food and the friendly service team are something I look forward to every time!

Members only entrance or usage of facilities. They have a bar and other facilities. Bar is pretty good but you can visit all these places only with a member.

MY favourite club for their salad bar buffet and they have the best burger in Singapore for the price point. The union bar a great place to eat pop corn and have a few cheeky drinks after work. The parties here on special occasions are really fun and an experience. The Chinese restaurant on the second floor has amazing fine dining. They also have one of the best char siew, wasabe prawns and crab meat fried rice in Singapore.

how to describe it... a bit non-descript ambience inside and outside. even when within the lobby is fairly crowded. Cafe food was okay but affordable at S$23.80. Biggest peeve - oh entitled 2 coffees per buffet payer. If not for meeting my American aunt - I don't fancy this for a nice weekend eating place. Pool area okay. Meeting rooms - okay.

Brilliant club! The American club is very big and has a very large pool. Want to come here again!

Nice ambiance, fun kids playroom, good food, fun pool.

The newly renovated swimming pool is great. As it was a weekday afternoon, we had the pool all to ourselves. We also had the benefit of the full attention from the lifeguards.

Great variety of activities and dinning . Massive gym and swimming pool area . Family Was a member for over 10years and never got bored of it

The American Club has lifted the service to their members up.

who did the renovation??? they made it look like a cheap community club. It was so nice before, what have they done? I want to sell my membership already :(

This place is strickly for Perm. Resident, American or otherwise - with a hefty membership fee to join. Our family were a guest of a member. Great facilities ie. Food, fab coffee & cafe eatery, library, pools, buffet & more!

I have called you to let you know that I have been given former member s number by SingTel. The person who answered the phone said she will sort out but I get messages daily still. In this age of being able to UNSUBSCRIBE, up are in fact breaking the law by not allowing me to do so. Please fix this issue immediately!

Best club in Singapore. Current renovations are a bit of an inconvenience but this is still #1 in town for convenience, facilities / services, & swimming program.

Currently under construction and it is very boring, closed most of the club. But usually (before the construction it is the best place to chill with your mates)

Their Union Bar has excellent pizza and very cold beer.

Quite a nice place for hanging out with family. They've also got a business centre at level 3, in case you wish to have meetings while you're spending the day there. This is, however, a members only club
