We had breakfast here. Music? Amazing! Drinks? Divine. Food? Yes please! Servers? Friendly AND funny, double whammy!

This was an awesome place to share a gorgeous Sunday morning with friends. The menu had some excellent options and they were great about making requests happen.

A truly fantastic dining experience nestled in downtown Flagstaff! There are no bad items on that menu. They also had a wonderful wine selection and a full bar! Come early for happy hour their tacos are the best!

Excellent food and ambiance. It s a very cool historic home from Flagstaff s history. Brunch prices were not bad, and the food was amazing. The coffee was excellent too, and the service was great. The house-smoked pork loin on eggs Benedict was phenomenal. It was an authentic Flagstaff experience, but not the kind that makes you feel guilty for eating meat.

This place is so hit or miss, and rarely worth the money. Everything sounds delish, but many dishes suffer from mediocre ingredients, like so many FLG eateries. Had the lunch special (Korean Beef Tacos) on a whim, and the meat was so tough I could not bite through it. Each chunk took about a minute to chew and my jaw was tired. after each one. Flavors were ok, but the meat quaility & cut, made this a bust. Had a steak for dinner on previous visit, and it made me wish I stayed home and grilled my own. Decent flavor, but slightly overcooked and chewy. It'll be a while before I muster the courage, dental fortitude, and cash, to give Jo's another go.
P.S. - don't ya hate when the waiter asks if they can get you anything, you say yes, then they never bring you that thing?!? This time it was sour cream. Last time it was extra butter. I guess I expect some sort of expertise at a place of this purported caliber

Second time my wife and I have been there in the last 3 years and was very satisfied both times. Had brunch, crab cake po-boy with salad and it was excellent. Also had I belive they were called zempoles. Riccota type dounuts ball with vanilla cream and rasberry sauce. Absolutley wonderful. The atmosphere and antique style of the house they converted into a restauraunt is totally what gives this place its ambiance. Will return again next time I'm in Flag.

Great atmosphere and excellent food! Daniel was very friendly and served us well. Definitely recommend Diablo Shrimp Mac and Cheese, the Crab cakes were very good, and the brie appetizer was delish.

My partner and I came out here while passing through Flagstaff back in February.
The atmosphere is very quaint and welcoming we came for brunch and had little no no crowd. I had the scratch biscuits and chorizo gravy and my partner had the petite filet, both were excellent! This restaurant is now a necessary stop for us any time we are coming through.

Wonderful service! Food was fabulous! I didn't get our servers name but he was so attentive and knew just what we needed! Love josephines, and if the service is always this great. We will be back more often.

Hands down the best restaurant in Flagstaff. I had a fillet mignon wrapped in bacon and a glass of Pinot Noir, for dessert a house made pecan pie (not in the pics, where you can instead find their creme brulee). Everything was really delicious. I've been to many good places in the area, and Josephine's is my top choice without doubts. Highly recommend! EDIT: I went to Josephine's for brunch today and had some salmon on potato-pancakes as you can see in the last picture. It was great! I also liked the atmosphere as I was eating outside with some live bossa nova music. Josephine's is great and highly recommend for lunch/brunch as well.

Historic Home + Fresh Food + Impeccable Service = Perfect Summer Runaway

Not only is the restaurant beautiful and centrally located, but the patio in the early evening was the perfect backdrop for a romantic dinner for us.

Artturi was our server and he was a fabulous host through our food journey. The tangy champagne viniagrette salad we split was perfectly balanced with creamy goat cheese and avocado. I had the pesto.prociutto chicken with parmesan risotto and my hubby had the bacon wrapped filet with mashed potatoes. Both were fresh and flavorful with perfect sized portions. We could not fit in dessert but left feeling comfy with happy tummys. The wine list is great as was the Moscow Mule that hubby had.

If you are in Flagstaff looking for a great meal...go see Artturi, sit back, relax, and enjoy! Hats off to the chef!

Absolutely outstanding hidden gem. Aviv made perfect recommendations. The kitchen was fast and the food was incredibly tasty with a very healthy serving of protein; they don't skip the meat. I had the Huevos Eggs Benedict w/ ham (5/5 stars) and the wife had the House Hickory Scottish Salmon plate (5/5 stars). Honestly, I'd happily pay more. Oh, and presentation was outstanding.

Andrea was our server and you could not ask for better service. In fact, we watched her deescalate an unhappy customer that voiced complaints every single time her or her manager approached the table and at the end he was taking pictures with her and telling her how great she was. She really was! And the food is fantastic! I highly recommend it!

To be fair I ate here over a year ago But they had some kind of seafood pasta special, and I had violent food poisoning for days. I could tell that the seafood was freezer burned as well, which doesn t surprise me since there s no ocean nearby But I was sicker than I ve ever been, and it was the only thing I have eaten that entire day, as I ve been traveling for work- I know that s what caused it, because I remember tasting the seafood and thinking it tasted a little bit off. I have never been there again.

Wonderful salad/meat combination. Interesting lunch menu. The coffee stayed hot in their custom coffee mugs that are also for sale and the cream was served in a generous carafe. Very pleasant experience.

I wasn't exactly impressed with the quality, nor the attention to detail for the price. Honestly, I expected a better dining experience and my hope is it was just an off night.

We came to Josephine s for lunch after an A.M. exploring the Grand Canyon. We sat outside and enjoyed the lovely atmosphere of the patio along with a great view of the San Francisco Peaks. The weather, staff and food were divine!

My wife and I were visiting Flagstaff and chose this restaurant based on Google reviews. Our server, Sasha, was very helpful. My wife chose the tomato basil soup to start and she reported it to be very good. The homemade bread tasted like something out of Mom's kitchen. We both chose the crab cakes which were delicious. I was concerned that crab cakes in Arizona might not be the best, but these were just right. We ended the meal with a peach crisp topped with ice cream. The crisp was not too sweet and the ice cream provided the perfect compliment of sweetness.
