Excellent patio to have brunch, reservations encouraged. The Bloody Mary's are pretty good and the food options span the standards as well as some more eclectic options. Dinners are excellent and this is a great place for a romantic dinner.

We went for the Sunday brunch and it was delicious. Drinks were good and I'm obsessed with hollandaise sauce and theirs was so good. Very nice intimate place for a date or for a smaller group outing.

The food was amazing! I had the fried green tomatoes entree, and was blown away by the different flavours and textures. The chocolate molten cake is to Die for. Our server Luis was perfect. I went to celebrate a special day, and will go back. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing. The French Onion soup is 2nd to none. The Crabcakes to die for especially if you like a little bite to your meal. The peach crisp dessert was excellent. Overall an awesome experience and highly recommend for anyone looking for a great meal.

My dinner salmon was overcooked, my wife's crab cakes were okay. Our friends lamb chops were wonderful.
The desserts were good.
Service was excellent. Seating was mostly outside, heaters close by which helped but the ladies were cold by the end of dinner, but they held out for dessert.

Great place for dinner or lunch. Has some interesting takes on common lunch menu items. Everything is excellent. Lunch menu changes every couple of months, but usually they have crab cakes... I mean good crab cakes with real crab meat.

The layout is horrible extremely crowded and tight fit. The menu is 90% Seafood which my husband and my kids 90% hate. There was limited seating but the outdoor patio looked very cozy. I was really disappointed because I loved the outside of the restaurant but the inside left much to be desired. The menu is also horrible. As soon as I saw the fried green tomatoes with ajus sauce I knew it was time to go. I left a few dollars on the table for their trouble and I left.

Went for our anniversary, let me just say hands down perfection. We highly recommend the restaurant! Service was amazing, food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was breathtaking. We've tried just about every place in Flagstaff and we definitely agree this is one of the best spots!

Beautiful building an excellent location near downtown. Dine inside in cozy, intimate rooms with hardwood floors. Or, dine outside and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Diverse menu with reasonable prices.

Food was incredible. Baked Brie appetizer is a must. Truffle mushrooms/red wine sauce on top of perfectly cooked filet. The side of vegetables were even delicious with spiralized zucchini and asparagus and carrots. Nice variety of cocktails. Outdoor patio for dining gives pleasant atmosphere.

The food was excellent. The service was not. Felt like we were ignored. Took our order and came back said they lost the order. Might have been a new guy...Needs to watch the girls and be attentive. We were not even offered desert. Out of town visitor.

Came here for Thanksgiving dinner, it was served buffet style. Three different kinds of salads, traditional style turkey & stuffing, cedar plank salmon with lentil rice pilaf, ham n green beans, beef & garlic mashed red potatoes, butternut squash soup, at least 5 different desserts, everything was prepared perfectly and tasted wonderful. Definitely coming back here next time I'm in Flagstaff!

We had a really great experience here for my 29th birthday. Personable yet professional service. A happy staff. Great food-- the filet mignon was amazing! And the cheesecake was super good. Will definitely be going back!

I recently had dinner here, it's my 3rd time coming and I can not express enough how fantastic the food and service is here!! The staff are so professional all around specifically our server (Luis) was on top of his job, and he went above and beyond. If you've never been here or haven't been in a while I suggest you go immediately!! Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Thank you Josephine's you have a customer for life!

I love this place. Everytime it's a memorable experience. This trip I needed special diet accommodations (low carb) and I was delightfully surprised when they put zoodles on my plate!!!! Love love love this place. It's always a stop when I'm in Flagstaff :)

Food was amazing, excellent flavors. Enjoyed the special: Surf and Turf, the scallops were absolute fire. Dessert was a nice finish too. It was a great first dining experience as businesses open back up. I recommend dining at this Bistro if you are in Flagstaff.

Super great food! Great service. Lovely quaint little place. It was girls weekend in Flagstaff and there was 13 of us. It was a great time at a great little restaurant. Highly recommend.

A great fine dining experience. We've been here twice on two trips through Flagstaff. We LOVED the cocktails we had, especially the hibiscus Bellini and the maple old fashioned. I'd highly recommend the osso bucco, the cioppino, or the filet medallions. The little house is a quaint and beautiful setting. I think next time we'd like to visit during warmer weather so we can sit outside. Bottom line, it was just as good last night as it was did years ago when we came here last.

The food was wonderful and the atmosphere quaint. They also have very nice seating areas outside. We had the fried green tomatoes which were fantastic and excellent bacon wrapped filet mignons with smoked gouda mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables. Overall a great restaurant!

Absolutely delectible food! My boyfriend is a steak snob and he said his Filet Mignon was one of the best he has had. Love the interesting variety of food and presentation. Good wine list. The quaintness and atmosphere is one you only get in a small town. We are planning to take friends from the valley to eat there as I know they will have a memorable Flagstaff dining experience.

My fiance and I are from out of town and stopped in to Josephines by recommendation for dinner. It was unfortunate that we had to wait some time after our reservation in order to be seated. As it turns out, with food, drinks, atmosphere and service of this quality, it's no surprise that the place was busy, and that people didn't want to leave!

After being seated, we were promptly greeted, and our drink and appetizer order came out quickly. The Korean lettuce wraps were amazing! I was tossed between the shrimp mac'n'cheese and the lemon and caper sauce chicken; I decided on the Mac, as the description was mouth watering. Possibly due to high expectation, or the fact that things just don't always come out perfect, I was underwhelmed by the tiger shrimp mac'n'cheese. Somehow, one of the hostess' Fran, saw my dislike of the dish and approached to make sure everything was ok. Though I was embarrassed and hesitant to send it back, she made me feel comfortable with the situation and assured me that my enjoyment of the meal was the most important factor. With that, I sent back the Mac, and they RUSHED out the Chicken in lemon caper sauce with risotto, for me. IT WAS PHENOMENAL!

Overall, the staff was very friendly. They all seemed to pitch in to make sure the guests were happy. The food and drinks were top notch, and the manager on duty, Ricky, was very pleasant and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a place to celebrate an occasion, or even just a great meal, at a fair price.

This is my favorite sit down restaurant in Flagstaff. The food is always incredible! Great atmosphere and great service. If you decide to check it out in the colder time of year make sure to bundle up for patio seating.

Recommended in Flagstaff. Located in an old and rather small house, Josephine's atmosphere is comfortable and quietly a bit upscale. Service was attentive, quick, and professional. The food, mole chicken and beef medallions were both well-done with good flavor. The appetizer, Josephine's take on crab cakes was delicious as was the dessert, peach crisp with ice cream. The one detriment was the tea - tasted old or over brewed. The prices are on the high side - plan on about $40 or somewhat less per person. Most entrees run in the mid $20's.

We will return when in Flagstaff.

I drove into town to see my daughter and we went straight to this restaurant to eat. So worth it! The coffee was great and the food was incredible. I ordered the salmon benedict. It was a lot of potatoes. I'd recommend doing a stone ground bread or something to balance out the carbs, but good. The atmosphere was cozy and the servers very friendly.

I went there for a special occasion and was feeling perfectly fine up until I took a few bites of my very expensive entree and felt sick. About 15 minutes later, I ran to the bathroom and was throwing up. I notified our waiter who continued to tell me I m sure it wasn t the food. It couldn t have been anything else. I asked to get the meal waived, considering I never got to eat it, and was only given 20% off. No manager came and spoke with us, nothing. It absolutely ruined our anniversary we were celebrating and we will NEVER be back!!!
