I have purchased from Jordan's before and was always happy with the process from beginning to end. This time was no different! The staff in Avon were available to respond to questions, offer suggestions, and ensure that what I selected was my own choice. The delivery was free. That was awesome! The delivery people came within the 3-hour time frame, which I had been given through a series of emails over the 6 days prior to my furniture arrival. The delivery people were friendly and professional. They wore masks. They were extremely careful with the way they took the furniture out of the packaging, put it together, and placed it where I requested. They tested the couch's electrical system prior to leaving. Excellent experience.

We were greeted in the living room section by Patricia Warren and she was so pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. She listened to what we were searching for and immediately took us to the merchandise we were most interested in. She communicated well on what she felt were pros and cons for us in our sofa choices and patiently assisted us while we made our decision. Our dining table/chair needs were even more specific due to size restrictions but she continued on with us, measuring tables as we proceeded through. We found something we never would have considered and feel in love this dining set. She assisted with financing, warranty/insurance information, giving us her contact information for future questions, and even walking us out. She made the whole experience a completely wonderful experience. She is gem! You are very lucky to have her Jordan's!

My husband and I were searching for living room furniture and we loved that sales people did not follow us the whole time we were walking around like they did in other stores. With that said - there was always someone available if we did have a question. Jayne, our sales associate, was very helpful recommending fabric choices for our specific situation. Great experience.

After years decided it was time for a new mattress...

After years decided it was time for a new mattress. Went to Jordan's in Avon over the Fourth of July weekend. Not only was I promptly helped, but I was shown mattresses that were just the right firmness and in my price range. What I thought was going to be a long process was simple and easy. I was handled with care from the time I walked in to the delivery. All along the way Jordan's stayed in touch with me answering all my questions. It was so great, I went back after the Fourth and bought a new chair as well. Thanks for everything!

Ordered a leather sleeper sofa on line with Greg a...

Ordered a leather sleeper sofa on line with Greg at the Avon Store. All my questions were answered and the order was place. The sleeper was delivered the next week by 2 very professional men. I was afraid the sofa wouldn't fit thru the doorway as it measured about 8" smaller than the sofa bed dimentions, but not a problem at all. Very good experience from beginning to end! Will definitely go to Jordan's again when we are in need of another pc of furniture.

Generally I have always had good luck here. Sales people are usually nice, not pushy. This time I felt like I was putting the women in the clearance center out by asking questions. The woman in the main sales floor was more helpful. Unfortunately, we couldn't find exactly what we needed this trip.

Is Jordan s Furniture changing?

When I shop at Jordan s Furniture I am shopping for high quality products and high quality services, but it seems like that s no longer the case. At least, and I hope, this one time.

I recently purchased two beds for my kids and the problems started when the delivery arrived. There were two guys but only one was carrying most of the items in. The second guy only helped when one of the pieces was impossible for anyone person to carry himself. I mentioned this to point out the issues with having only one person carrying heavy and bulky furniture pieces. Clearly there is a greater chance of banging and damaging the items and the house as it being carried through, not to mention greater risk of injuries to the delivery person. It was also obvious that the two guys were not of equal in status, the one who did most of the carrying did not do the talking. And even though he banged the items on the wall and left scratch marks on the furniture, it s not really his fault. He did his best and if Jordan s Furniture made sure that their deliveries of bulky items are always carried by at least two people, this should not have happened.

At assembly time the poor service continued. The guy who did not do much of the carrying did most of the assembling. In order to attach the side rails he had to remove the build-in draws in the footboard. When he put the draws back, one was out of alignment and the other was inoperable. He should have known that would happen when he carelessly forced the draws into place. He also assembled the second bed which required attaching some of the pieces with screws. He over screwed one place that it cracked the outer surface area. I honestly don t think he cares, service team was only a phone call away and the problems would no longer be his - and so he called the service team.

The service team was prompt, the service person came out the next day and was more professional. He took care of his work area by using a moving mat so not to dirty or damage the floor. He was able to repair most things with the exception of the draws, they were not repairable. He needed to replace the damaged parts and it would take about two weeks.

Two weeks went by and the technician came back. He did his repair and said that everything was all set, but I notice one of the draws was still out of alignment and asked him about it. He said there is nothing that could be done about it since it s within the manufacture s tolerance. At this point I am thinking to myself maybe this is the issue the whole time. The tolerance level for error at Jordan s Furniture has changed. It s now acceptable for their furniture pieces to have obvious and notice flaws out of the boxes. Maybe this attitude has became so pervasive that when I follow up with this concern that the customer service representative informed me that she will make a one time exception for me to have the footboard replaced. Has she not notice from her customer log that I have been dealing with this purchase issue for over two weeks? Or that I had to take two additional days to be available for the repairs?

I liked Jordan s Furniture for the same reasons that I think most people like Jordan s Furniture, we are will to pay a bit more for distinguishable quality and service. Jordan s Furniture did not deliver that this time, and I hope it s an anomaly - but my guess is that it s not, it s a sign of a company in transition.

Our sectional arrived this Saturday, but one of the pieces was incorrect. The driver's were excellent. Very professional and worked hard to accommodate us given the problem. Customer Service was quick to respond. They told us they would have our salesman, Marty, call as soon as he arrived. They thought he would be in earlier than he was so we didn't hear from him until mid-day, but they were great at keeping us posted. They called 3 times to keep us informed and once we connected with Marty he was very professional and apologetic as he simply ordered the wrong piece. He was very quick to order the correct piece. So now we just have to wait for the piece. In the meantime we are already enjoying this beautiful new addition to our home. Amazing quality. It wasn't inexpensive by any means, but worth it. You really do get what you pay for.

WAS NOT TO HAPPY WITH DELIVERY CLEAN UP. I WAS WATCHING MY GRANDSON WHO IS CRAWLING AND AFTER THEY LEFT I FOUND 3 SMALL PIECES OF PLASTIC CAPS AND A PIECE OF SMALL PLASTIC ON THE FLOOR. GLAD I SAW THEM, BEFORE HE COULD OF PUT THEM IN HIS MOUTH!!

Unbelievable customer service and the best furniture you can get. I'm am really impressed with the quality of there furniture it will last a lifetime and going to this store is fun for the family. They have lots to do and see and the sales people are not pushy like other places. Wonderful experience

I chose Jordan's Furniture, in Avon, due to its convenient location to my town. Upon entering the store I was warmly greeted by an employee who directed me to the department that I was interested in. Upon entering that department, another employee approached me and helped me with my selection and purchase. Excellent customer service! I was in and out in less time than I thought. Yeah, I'll be back!

We met with a man named Chris. We found him to be very knowable, patient, and able to listen to our concerns. Our current mattress is the Dial by the numbers, mattress and we had not made up our minds which way to go on our purchase. I have major back injuries and Chris made sure that I could be comfortable changing over to a regular mattress. I would highly recommend Jordan's for paying attention to ALL the details. Being in the service industry I look at things in a different light and you have a very excellent salesman in Chris.

Love Jordon's. People are knowledgeable and friendly. They opened up a slot for my new bed to be delivered next day. The delivery men are extremely professional and friendly as well. I would not go anywhere else for my furniture for my new home.

ONLY PAID $1599 FOR THE WHOLE SOFA

I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars over the years at this store. One of my last purchases was a Rowe slipcovered sofa Nantucket style. I was told at time of purchase that it would be possible to buy another slipcover for about $200 as a replacement. Called yesterday because I wanted to replace it, was told it would be $1050-$1200 FOR THE SLIPCOVER . WHAT A BUNCH OF LIARS . NEVER WILL I STEP FOOT IN THE STORE AGAIN !!!!!!!

Update: They tried to tell me it was because of the type of fabric. --
We are talking about Cotton Twill or Denim here. It shouldn't be $1200 for a replacement slipcover when the whole sofa is $1599

It's not horrible. Ill start there. Reason for two stars. I took the family and we all thought it was very uneventful. We appreciated for what it is but as a New Englander all my life living here it did not feel like it was when it was in Boston. Now I'm not speaking for my children but I did ask them and they also though it was ok. The walk is nice thru enchanted village, the light show was eh!..and the Polor Express was also en! The movie is better. The Ice skating is NOT ice but on that one I do understand that if people fell and cracked there heads all the time they would have been closed years ago. It's some type of Vinal floor and the skates are actually flat. Santa was probably the coolest and the fact that Avon Jordas is one of the biggest furniture stores in all of Notth America.

Great expirience! I love the Clearance room, there is always plenty to choose from. The gentleman that checked us out was very informative and helpful. When we pickup up the cutest recliner in the world they had no problems loading it into our little hatchback and did everything with a smile! Thumbs up for this Jordans expirience!

Avon location. Gary helped my wife and I choose a mattress. The Bridge-It device was helpful as were the questions Gary asked of us in order to guide our mattress selection. The finance and delivery setup process was convenient and efficient. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience at Jordan's.

Went to the Avon store to shop for furniture for my new apartment. I was very satisfied with Daniel in the sleep lab. He had me try several beds, was very accommodating and informative. Daniel was not your typical sales person (pushy) trying to sell me everything in the store. Also, his sense of humor was fabulous. Nancy also was very helpful, just like Daniel (not pushy) either. They both have excellent customer service skills and they deserve the best the company should give them. I know I will go back to the Avon store because I know I had a great experience there.

Now I understand why it's "an experience". Think tourist trap meets IKEA. Funny things to walk through, games, "ice" skating (on some sort of plastic). Kids loved it. I got into it when we were walking through the upstairs showrooms (you walk through it like IKEA) and I kept wanting to get all the different furniture sets for all of the space we don't have. Ha! The powered reclining chairs and sectionals were a big hit. And now we have one (though we got a cheaper version from Costco). A hilarious place. More fun than I thought it would be. I'll be back.

Great experience, Tina was our sales rep and fitted us with our mattress and reclining box frame. No pressure to buy and 2 days later delivery was on time and the guys were carefull and professional carrying everything to the second floor. We always shop at Jordans first.

Just gave up a waterbed after almost 40 years and decided to go meet "Bridge IT"...well worth the trip. She recommended a variety of mattresses and the one we picked seems oh so comfortable and cozy...can't wait till it gets here Saturday! Big shout out to Elizabeth Vargas our sleep technician...she was knowledgeable, friendly and made several great recommendations, Thanks Liz!!

Pretty good customer service and lots of selection here. Take a copy of your flooring and your wallpaper or paint. Make sure you understand the dimensions of what you are buying and whether or not it's going to fit

This is not the first time we've shopped at Jordan...

This is not the first time we've shopped at Jordan's and it certainly won't be the last.

This time we purchased a new queen-sized antique brass bed, mattress and foundation, and 2 pillows with protective covers for all. We dealt with three different salespersons...one for the mattress, boxspring, and bedding and two for the bed. (The third salesperson was necessary because we changed our minds on the particular bed we'd chosen and the original salesman was off that day.) They were each very professional, knowledgeable of the products they were selling, helpful, and pleasant. It was delivered in a timely fashion.

The two men who delivered the order were also professional, careful, efficient, and friendly.

Honestly not thrilled with our experience here. My boyfriend and I desperately needed a new mattress, and we decided to purchase one from Jordan s because they have the sleep lab technology which we thought would help us purchase a mattress that is right for us. My boyfriend has chronic back issues and we wanted to be sure to buy a bed with enough support for his needs. Overall, the quality of the products is top of the line, the salesperson was knowledgeable and friendly, it s simply the company policies that are unfair and honestly exploitative . We purchased the wrong size box spring, and upon delivery we informed them it was not going to work for us. The delivery driver said it would not be an issue and to call the store. It was a Sunday and customer service was closed. I called the following day and was told that because the mattress was already in the home they weren t sure they could help us. Had I been told that by the delivery person, I would not have allowed the mattress to stay in my home. I was then connected to another salesperson who explained I was entitled to one exchange, I thought, great! After agreeing to everything I was informed the fee for an exchange would be $180. The boxspring itself is worth $200. I may as well have bought an additional item of furniture. There is also an additional $10 delivery fee, which leads me to wonder what the purpose of this $180 exchange fee even is? They eventually lowered my fee to only $80, but if I could go back in time I wouldn t even bother buying a box spring from them. I m very disappointed that this local New England company takes advantage of their customers this way, and would not recommend buying anything from them unless it s completely necessary, in which case, be prepared like you re going to a used car dealership.

Amazing quality & service! Prices are a little high but this is high quality furniture and we all know you get what you pay for!! Also, who doesn't love there FREE promotions that have to do with the Red Sox and getting all your purchases for FREE?! The staff do ask if you have questions but allow you the freedom to browse until you really need them. I have bought many things with them over the years and have always been extremely happy! :)

So the Christmas display is really cool. It was Super packed and the lines are very long. For example to get into the laser show we waited over an hour even though we had timed tickets. The ice skating was not good. It was very hard to stay up on, my oldest who's really good at ice-skating eventually gave up. The motion Movie Theater needs some updates, the concept is great but most of us left with hurt backs.

To be honest I spent too much money to try all of their activities. I do not plan on returning. As a Special Needs Mom I would not consider this place friendly and accessible toward our community. The waiting in long lines was really hard for my daughter who has autism and some medical challenges. Near the end one of us in our party had a major panic attack and needed to leave. But it took us about 15 minutes to get through the maze to exit the building, it seems like it was never going to end.
I'm guessing for typical families with the funds it wouldn't be so bad if you don't mind waiting in so many lines.

As a family we have always loved Jordan's Furnitur...

As a family we have always loved Jordan's Furniture. Typically I don't go on and talk about individual sales people, but I wanted to here. "JD" J. Durot is outstanding. He was kind, compassionate and very patient with my mom as she reluctantly shopped for a couch for the house on the Cape. We ordered a sleeper, but the adventure wasn't finished. The next day she had a multitude of questions, which were all answered promptly and efficiently by JD. We wound up conversing back and forth through approximately 6 emails each. Never once was there a sign of impatience or "whatever!" as is the case with so many unprofessional sales people. I later learned that JD was actually working with us during his scheduled day off.
We wound up increasing our order to include a second couch, end table and coffee table. Thanks JD! and thanks Jordan's!

huge selection in lots of different styles. a lot of employees around to help - everyone was very friendly and helpful -- sometimes a bit too much actually. i always like to stop by to at least get ideas. i picked up a few items there last week. unfortunately their delivery to nyc was limited so couldn't get everything I wanted.

Bought a lift recliner...delivered as promised on Tuesday.....on Thursday the mechanics did not work....called customer service..they promise a replacement on Saturday....hopefully they will keep their word...will post later on outcome...
Update: came as promised...new chair in excellent condition....took other chair out with no problem...what a treat to deal with a company who stands behind their word..am now a customer for life....

Like I said, I edge out Jordan's over any other major furniture store in the area. Don't like everything about the store, but they are overall better; although you do pay a little more. This one I believe is the biggest around MA and RI, but I like the one in Warwick mall better for organization and decoration; smoother overall transition at Warwick Mall. If you want very specious and perhaps higher selection this might be the best option. There is an IKEA right next door as well.

Michelle, our salesperson, was a great ambassador ...

Michelle, our salesperson, was a great ambassador for Jordans. S he followed retail 101, listen to the custom, she was outstanding, outgoing, friendly and knowledgeable. We were looking to purchase a complimentary chair for our living room and after showing us two chairs that defined our needs we found THE ONE.

We went to the sleep lab as it was time to purchase a new mattress and Justin was our sleep tech. He is very personable and patient and incredibly knowledgeable. Buying a mattress is a big deal to us so we took our time, asked a lot of questions and found the perfect one. We also purchased the power base as we needed the head elevation. The crew delivered it the next day. They were very professional and were done within twenty five minutes and we love our new bed!

I read a review that said Jordan's was way over priced. In the 27 years since we built our house, we have purchased most of our furniture from Jordan's and have never had a problem - always well made and lasts a long time. After 20 years, we replaced the family room furniture but bought from Bob's Discount furniture. It was a huge mistake. We have had technicians come out and we have replaced the pull cords to all of the recliners at least three times (there are three recliners in this set). After just a few years, the cushions are already down to the wood. While you may pay more at Jordan's, knowing that the furniture is well made and lasts is worth it for us! You get what you pay for. We learned our lesson!

The sleep lab is so much more high tech than I exp...

The sleep lab is so much more high tech than I expected. They have you stand against a wall that inflates around your body while it uploads the data of how to properly align your spine and where your pressure points are into a computer. I walked in expecting to buy another 5 year saggy mattress and walked out with a great amount of knowledge from the amazing associate Anne who helped me, a split king latex power set up complete with new pillows and mattress cover-this is one stop shopping! My husband has sleep apnea so in order to elevate his head up at night the power base was a must. It is split, so I can lay flat. It is the most comfortable mattress and pillows I ve ever had the fortune to lay on-specifically designed for the length of my body to take the pressure off my back and hips. Genius. I will never buy another mattress from anyplace else, this mattress is guaranteed for 10 years, and when and if I need another in ten years, I ll be back at the sleep lab at Jordan s. They have customers for life here!

I could not have been happier with the service I r...

I could not have been happier with the service I received. The sales person was knowledgable, understanding, and extremely helpful. Natalia showed me several options and helped me settle on the best product for me. I would recommend Jordan's too anyone in the market for a new mattress.
