The venue is good for basketball but, its hit or miss with the staff. Most are very friendly but, there is one a**hole who should be fired! He works in the luxury suite area see you next game. Filing a complaint with the Kings about you hopefully your resigned or terminated.

Side note the food is awful and overpriced eat before or after the game offsite.

The new stadium was great. Would be better if there weren't so much bird poop on the sidewalks and if the homeless persons were provided better support than tents a few blocks away from the stadium.

Upper stairs are very steep and seating is narrow. Seats were not the greatest for sitting long periods. No smoking area and you can't go back in if you leave. Streets also blocked off and parking is all over the city.

Nice arena that is missing basic amenities. For one, no cup holders. My first time ever visiting, someone kicked their drink on me from the row above me. Aisle spacing is horrible, anytime someone in your row needs to leave, everybody has to get up. Today, even at a movie theatre you would be able to swing your legs to the side and people can walk by but that isn't the case here. For a "state of the art" arena, you would think they would have some of the basics down.

The new stadium is great! Lots of seating and the views no matter where you are, excellent. I attended the Ed Sheeran concert last night, our seating section 217 row K. Also, the concessions are efficient.

Food selection is limited and over priced. They seem to sell more booze than food. Some staff are not well informed. The arena itself is very nice! Oh yeah, don't buy bottled water as they open it and will not give your cap back. Didn't say the reason but if you are clumsy you will spill that water in a very crowded space.

What can I say. It's just another stadium. Thewill all similar. The staff were particularly nice, for sure, and some of the areas made you feel like you weren't at a stadium, like the downstairs bar that felt like a night club. $16 beers are just silly, but that's just the way it goes I guess

Beautiful arena but there is NO leg room on the upper levels. It is impossible to leave a center row seat without everyone standing up. Not sure about floor and first level seating but I will never buy tickets in the upper level again unless it's the last seats of a row.

$15 for a tall can of cheap beer? This has to be some kind of hilarious joke. Overpriced everything, steep seats, and non-existent parking. Can't beat the location though and the talent it brings in.

Overall great first experience at Golden 1 Center. We came for the Guns N Roses concert and had a blast. I would recommend getting here at least one hour prior to the beginning of the show because there is only one entrance and the line stretched all the way to K St. It took about 25 minutes to get through the security checkpoint and into the building. Once inside, there were fairly long lines at the alcohol vendors, so we waited another 20 minutes for drinks. Drink selection was good, they had a decent selection of beer, wine and hard liquor.

We sat in section 109 which had a great view of the stage. I think most of the seats on the first level have great views of the stage actually. The sound quality was great so we could clearly hear the singer (Axl Rose) as well as Slash's amazing guitar solos.

Overall this is a great venue for concerts. You can reserve parking online before you leave home so you dont have to hunt for parking when you get downtown. The event center has great seating and sound. But I would recommend eating dinner before you get there to avoid having to eat their food. Also, one suggestion to the Golden 1 Center, PLEASE put large screen televisions around the inside perimeter of the food court so that while you're waiting in line for food, drinks, merchandise, etc., you can continue to watch the show. I think more people would be willing to leave their seat to buy things if they didn't feel like they were missing the show while waiting in line.

Overall we had a great time at Golden 1 Center and will definitely be back for another concert at this venue.
